I beg to differ I bought mine about 3 months ago and its worked great for me even got 60 plus extra programs from website that made it even sweeter...for the money I think its pretty well made Kudos to Kurzweil :)
I have this keyboard and understand some of the frustration with the pianos. You either like or not. Nonetheless, the keyboard is a good one. Software is available for deep editing and the strings sound really good. For what it does do this is a good gigging board. Pair it with a good 88 key weighted board and you have a winner.
Bought this a week ago and I'm returning it. The pianos are really bad.. especially in mono. Too quiet in stereo (notice the volume is cranked all the way up). The Rhodes and Wurly's are good, until you hold a chord and hear the cheapness shine through. Upper register is unbearable on all the ep's. I'm realizing that this SP4 series was designed to draw people to the pc3x. I'm now thinking of getting the sv1.
co sadzisz o tym klawiszu? niestety musiałem zejść z Kawai ES7, ale jak na moje mozliwości myslę że byłby to dobry sprzęt, czy rzeczywiście jest tak przestarzały? :) wybacz mój żarcik, wiem niewygodnie gra sie na stojąco
Kurzweil was one of the best keyboard till ~10 years... since that... Kurzweil is one of the worst keyboard/stage piano... the design,frame materials,bottoms,screen patches are so poor... sorry no Kurzweil!

Very great sound ! It's Kurzweil, superior technology. For HAMMOND sound good enough, to have a better sound, you need a real LESLIE cabinet.
Kurzweil is the best today, the Roland follow next but is more expansive...
