C6 Yelan's frontloaded damage, HP buffing supportive capability and extreme maneuverability are just fucking insane. Using a C6 Yelan feels like having a cheat code at this point 😂

I feel like Ayato's split-scaling isn't meant to make you use hp artifacts, it just means that hp substats aren't AS awful, and with the new-ish hydro res, he does benefit from that aswell. In fact if you want to go for pure damage, you can use an attack buffing food item and use that ONE max hp buffing food item along with hydro dmg potion in order to increase damage.
And also Ayato opens up a new usage for jade cutter,outside of more atk just for having hp,if Ayato is on c2 and jade cutter,the attack he gets would be good enough to use an HP sands and have both great attack as well as more namizen stack dmg,i actually have my Ayato on 4 piece heart of depth,an HP sands and Atk goblet,why that? Well,kazuha is always on the team,and the artifacts give Ayato 15% hydro dmg,so with kazha he goes up to 60% or so,which is just fine to absolutely shred enemies at that point,pretty flexible character really

@@Alexis-8889Nothing really changes in attack stat when Jade Cutter Ayato gets C2, C2 only increases his max hp based on his base hp. The idea of hp sand being an alternative remains the same regardless.
@@lehang5840 well,the way i "calculated" the whole thing,it was,2 pc tenacity and 2 glad,hp sands and goblet,jade cutter,c2 and hydro res,according to where i got,over 40k HP,which made the 5 stacks of namizen deal around 2700 flat dmg which can crit and all,aside from Ayato's attack itself with glad 2 piece and a 4 tenacity kokomi,around 2k attack total,over 40k hp,and kazuha to res shred and replace goblet,its just too complicated but makes hp Ayato work

Raiden C4-C6 is massive in coop. If there are more coop focused activities things like Raiden C6 or Shenhe C4 will be much more valuable.

@@lensko3715 Zhongli C2 is a major improvement even in single player, you don’t see much difference in single player with C6 vs C3 Raiden.

C4 is actually good if you aren't a whale who is oneshoting abyss 12...
Most people will never touch a c6 constellation but c2 constellations are within the realm of f2p, minnow, and dolphin players. It is really nice to have most of their power in the first 2-3 constellation like Raiden. Only problem is that with Raiden her burst is overkill on everything except bosses so she is not that fun in overworld. I do actually use her with Childe in overworld sometimes where I alternate who takes the field. Childe + Kazuha will kill one group and Raiden kills the next group. Sometimes using Bennett burst if it is a super elite.
C2 Yelan has some of the best of both worlds in that she makes gameplay more fun while also being very strong. The only issue is that she does not outright create new team comps as she is just a 5 star Xingqiu in combat.
"It is really nice to have most of their power in the first 2-3 constellation like Raiden." U cant really put as much power as yelan c6 in the first 3 constellations. Considering she's the most broken character in the game at c6, many dolphins I know (including myself) are going for c6r1 yelan. I already have c2 just need 4 more.
A 5 star xing that does multitudes of more damage
Me "accidentally" getting C2 Yelan while building pity for Zhongli in 4.0. Hahaha.
I have C6 Yelan, and i never regretted it. Lost 50/50 2 times but got her in the same 10 pull.
I have C2 Yelan and I think her C1 was the best constellation I ever got. The overworld convenience is so nice.
Same. She's the only 5 start I desperately wanted constellations on and am saving for more because why not? Her C1 is just so much fun.

yelan c1 is actually a game changer
Yelan is the only non-standard banner 5* whose C1 I got so far (I don't have Hu Tao...), and it was a great investment despite having to let go of Lyney. The main problem I had with Yelan was that her E cooldown was too long, so I couldn't reliably use her to apply hydro outside of her burst (I didn't have good ER artifacts back then). Now she's just very fun to play and helps me a lot in the Spiral Abyss.
For those of us who started the game at launch the damage boost doesn't really matter anymore. The only reason I pull is if they provide some sort of fun/new mechanic - like Yelan c1 as you noted!

I was getting a little bit tired of Genshin (day 1 player), but when I saw her leaks, I was sooooo hyped! She made things so much fun. Got her C2, rocking Favonius Bow and still wrecking shit up. E>Q>E, and my Q is up again! Hopefully Wanderer can give me the same satisfaction heh.
Not getting Yelan is one of my bigger regrets. I'm definitely correcting that mistake when her banner comes back.

Surely Yae deserves a mention: 120% DMG increase from C0, ER being made irrelevant with C1, turrets having Nahida burst range with C2 (slightly larger actually), support capabilities being unlocked with C4, and at C6 she becomes universal in the sense that it's so much damage you could chuck her into any comp and she'd be great (C3 and C5 are also good as her skill and burst comprise the majority of her DMG)
I always said if I had to C6R5 anyone, it would be Yelan. I'm happy with my C2R1 Raiden lol
Yeah, Yelan will probably be my second C6. I have her at C4 right now.
I'd say Yae's are also quite good. Her first helps a lot with her energy requirements. Her second is a nice damage boost to what most people are probably interested in, her turrets. And then you get the extra range as well, which doesn't have a bigger number impact, well, other than that a turret attacking obviously deals more damage than one not attacking. Then you get her C3, which, combined with her C2, makes for almost a 50% increase in the damage from her turrets. Her C4 was kind of okay, but is one of those things that gains value with Aggravate, since that 20% will increase the bonus damage Aggravate gives, and that helps all the electros on the team (aka Fischl). It also helps her burst's damage. Her burst has no ICD, so again, is nice with Aggravate, and it hitting harder is good, so yay C5. And finally, there's her C6, which makes her turrets nasty. The main thing that hurts her is the low initial damage on her turrets, given her on field time to place them. But that's the fault of the skill itself, and not her constellations.
Not as good as Yelan's, of course. But still a strong overall set.
Actually from C0-C6 increase her Turret Damage by 300%. That's more Dps increase then Yelan.

I think that of all 5 star until now, Yelan might be the one with has the more satisfying constellations, really usually a character have at least one that is either not useful to the playstyle or outright useless, but all of Yelan constellations are useful for her and even for the team, definitely a character that makes you want to get until c6
Nahida is very similar. I have C4 Yelan and C6 Nahida, and they are both amazing.
Yelan is someone I 38294729% do not regret having at C6 except maybe I kill things too fast lol.
Oh and let's not forget about people rolling for Yelan C4 to buff their Hu Tao. Might consider her for Nilou Bloom teams as well.
I got C6 yelan and its pointless using her to buff other characters because she gets ris of them too quickly, if the hydro archon do buff heals or hydro characters its not gonna change much for C6 yelan because of how fast she deletes the game especially with just kazuha
I think the support utility is more valuable than plain DPS. If you take a look at the characters in your inventory, you'll probably find some decent DPS units that you haven't used since forever ago. The reason is DPS unit is always interchangeable and replaceable but not the support unit. Good supporters like Bennett and Xingqiu will always be the one and only. In Raiden's case, she is more like a combination of both DPS and support characters, and either of them is well enough to become an independent character makes her even crazier. Therefore, in this sense, her constellation is the best.

I skipped every banner from beginning 2.4-2.7 (6 months) and then came Yelan.
Wich I absolutely loved in terms of design, playstyle, performance and utility.
Since I had enough Primos left after getting Yelan c0, I was faced with a choice of going for Aqua or her c1.
I decided for her c1 despite the fact that the weapon banner was so good and I didn't need Yelan's 4* (Barbara, Noelle & Yanfei).
To this day I have no regrets about Yelan's c1, it's so satisfying to use whether in combat or Exploration.
The only thing I'm sad about is how unlucky it takes to spend 50K+ saved Primos and only get the Charakter c1 with no signature weapon...
I mean by total constellation strength, Yae Miko probably(wins second place) since all of her cons actually give her a bunch of power spikes each and a few QoL, her BiS weapon also gives her a massive boost. The issue though is that her C1 and C2 should've been on her base kit instead and why she just feels off to use at C0, hence why Yelan beat her to the punch.
I do agree that Yelan is leagues better since she's more comfier and even has use in the overworld.

Yelan is one of the best characters to come out of genshin, shes incredible in every aspect gameplay & design. And i do not give praise lightly.

Yelan’s constellation tree is practically Xingqiu’s constellation tree, but the opposite, not in the “hAha yElAN 5 sTAr xInGQiU” sense, but in a value type of way. Xingqiu is, primarily, a supportive character, but along with his constellations, his kit evolves him into a dps beast. Yelan in the other way, is primarily a damage focused character, but along with her constellations, her supportive capabilities skyrocket, and much like Xingqiu, she can support herself. IMO, Yelan and Xingqiu are the best characters in the game, being mirror images of each other, I cannot see a future of Genshin where these two fall off in the meta. Also, with enough investment, they can literally solo any abyss rotation together…
And the best thing is, they work best in the same team
Agree with Nahida being probably the next best overall. Her C2 is actually absurd and her other cons are all beneficial.
Yelan keeps the edge because, honestly, just C1 provides so much QOL.
I would say Nahida is better. I generally like the things Nahida does better, and her C6 feels so good to use.

Great video! To me this even points more that you can't pit certain characters towards eachother as each has their specific area they are good in. I use Raiden voor energy recharge and as a hypercarry so the faster i get to her peak damage (which is c2/c3) the better without having to spend more money. Yelan i definitely use for sup/dps and overworld ( to me she is already fine at c1). It all comes down understanding the character and what purpuse you use them for.. Then look how far you want/need them to go and determine the best constellation

I would definitely say Ayaka. Her C1 is obv pretty garbage, but her C2 in most cases gives her main source of damage 40% more damage, her C4 is arguably the best constellation in the game considering how DEF Shred is the best stat in the game and I think her C4 has the highest amount out of anything (not DEF ignore like Raiden or Yae) and while her C6 isn’t great it’s amazing in the overworld.

In my opinion the best constellation not talking about the whole 6 of them if you were just to pick on constellation from one character I think it's Bennet's c1 it just does everything to make your life more convenient like lifting the hp restriction.

Yelan is the only character i lose my f2p status and get her at c6r5.I took 3 month of my saving and in not disappointed.This come from a kazuha/ayato/ganyu main that let them sit on c0 for the rest of my genshin career

For me, I value constellations relative to their costs. Like C6 is a given to be broken in most cases due to the cost it needs. Thus if a character gets a huge increase in damage or QoL at early constellations, its alot better than a character at C6. And so, characters that spike at C2 is alot better than anyone at C6. In that regard, I say its Raiden, Kazuha, Nilou, Nahida for C2 and Hutao for C1. (to some extent even Ayaka tho shes spikes at C4 but her C2 is also noteworthy and yelan for her to be near XQ level in terms of hydro application). Outside of C2, the cost doesnt warrant anything for QoL/damage for its worth. (Plus C2 is feasible to reach even for F2Ps so more people would look on a constellation that provides more at early constellations rather than wasting everything for a C6)
There are deffinitly more. Ayato, Klee, Yoimiya, Eula (i know C6 best but it's a QoL Change) and Tighnari. They all offer great early constellations.

Ever since Yelan came out I have not used Xingqiu in my Hu Tao team. The Hp residence is great but my Fischl and Nahida are better to help my Hu Tao team to 36 any abyss.

Yelan is the best C6 character, but i’m not sure if she has undisputed best constelations.
The diference between Yae c0 and Yae c6 is massive aswell, it’s a shame it wasnt mentioned in the video.

My favorite constellations are Ganyu's.
Each one makes her better and better as they are unlocked and synergise so well with her overall kit and playstyle. Making her stronger and giving other incredible support along the way. until her c6 makes her a DPS on field monster, that also pumps up the others around you or applies ice like no one else.
I knew someone would be down here talking about Ganyu's constellations... Her constellations are next to useless in most situations (except C6), and she is generally a pretty outdated character at this point. I will say that they feel quite nice, though, if only CAs on bows were not awful.
@@Jdogrey1 I wouldn't say they are next to useless. They all make whatever she does better. Her C6 is the only one that is explosive.
C1 - gives energy which is nice. c2 gives another frostflake. good in most situations in the game, even exploration to get annoying mobs off your back while moving around. c4 is epic! cause it slowly deals more dps on enemies in an already large area, that most people are fighting in anyway to get the other boosts it provides.
So they all work really well with her overall kit. Making a good character an incredible one as DPS and support. that's pretty awesome. I didn't say Yelans weren't good lol, only that I prefer ganyus if given the choice to have one of my characters at c6.
And I would make the argument that Raiden shogun's are still the best of all time, cause of the low commitment. With zero luck and a loss on 50/50's, it theoretically takes 300$ to get each constellation. Having an OP character at C2 is amazing, and a lot more people are willing to spend a bit of real money to get that boost, as oppose to the monetary amount to hit a c6. not to mention with re-runs for F2P, c2 is more viable than c6. Especially as more and more characters get introduced down the line. Accessibility is DEFINITELY a factor with constellations. most people are not part of that 1%.
Why aren't you including eula on same level as yelan and ayato?
people adore raiden because her power spike at c2/c3 is equivalent to other character at their c6, which made her much cheaper to obtain, not because she have the best constellation, her c4 and c6 does pretty much nothing for her number, and to this day I still believe that her c6 is one of the most useless 5* constellation in the game because in most team her rotation is just fine even without the cd reduction, now switch her c3 to c5 and her c2 to c6, she won't be much different with other characters who gain most of their power spike at c6 like eula and yelan

Yeah i would have said Yelan as well. Id say, for frontloaded value, raiden's are the best. But like you said, she falls off a cliff past C3. Yelan's overall are 100% better. But id also say the vast majority of people are rarely gonna reach C1 and even more rarely gonna get C2, so for most people Raiden's kinda are the best. But if were talking high spender, yeah yelan's become much better.
Doesn't the same goes for Yae Miko? All of her cons are really great increases

They are not as good as Yelan, and even a C6 Yae is pretty much worse than even a C0 Yelan. 120% damage increase from really bad damage is still bad damage.

Imo Generally people who dont have C6 Raiden are the ones that come to the conclusion that C6 isnt good. For those that do have C6 know her C6 is not terrible at all, it is quite good. The entire party’s ultimate is almost spammable to the point where its sometimes ridiculous, not to mention it makes gameplay more enjoyable.
it's mid. There's wayyy better c6s such as xiao and ayato that are normal c6 standard. Then we have yelan who breaks the game.

Of course i knew that Yelan is the best, but what about Shenhe and Ayaka? I thought they would be more worth considering rather than Raiden and Ayato.
Shenhe C6 is fun and powerful but impractical, basically makes your characters a strong cryo unit, C6 Ayaka still needs support, but C6 Yelan can do everything on her own

While Yelan is the best idk I think Nahida’s constellations are FAR better than Ayato like she has incredible utility and her C2 can make transformative reactions Crit. It’s a damage increase regardless of character
I play xianling , Bennet and diluc and fischel as my main team , who should I pull for ayato or raiden ? The only hydro charector i have is barbara . I was thinking to pull for raiden for raiden national but i don't have xianqu , i have no idea when i will get him , but i also want raiden cuz she is a God and yea
In overall usefulness i would say Ayato because Hydro is such an good element and one of the most used element because it enables so many things.
BUT
If you like Raiden, want Raiden and safed for Raiden: Go Raiden. There are many good Hydros and if worst comes to worst safe your Starglitter to buy a Xingqiu form the Shop.

And for Cryo: You have Kaeya. And Kaeya is amazing even at C0 and if you get maybe a Rosaria your fine. Of course Ayaka/Ganyu have more power but Rosaria/Kaeya are not weak and they both enable all Cryo archtypes. Reverse Melt, Freeze, Superconduct, Fridgte/Hyperfridge.
@@kawaiimika7974 Yeah but she is still one of the best ones. And personally i would say Ayato but if someone wants a specific char he should get the specific char. Especially if it's a char that is really good.
I'd place Eula, Ganyu, Ayaka and Shenhe above Raiden for constellations quality simply because they don't have any stinkers. Some of those may seem underwhelming by themselves (Ayaka C1, Ganyu C2) but still serve important function as a part of the whole.
Interestingly enough, all are cryo damage waifus.

I would definitely agree with this. Yelan, not just her also Yae. they are so busted. this is the reason why i did not pull for raiden.

I did never regret my only C6 R5 which is Raiden. Shes been used every day since her release, love her absolutelly. It really does make your team being able to spam bursts and once you are done you can burst with Raiden again. I absolutelly love events which have time limit unlimited ammount of enemies, its so satisfying to play. I hope in future we will have replayable content to play which will be based on these combat events.
The thing is the time you switch characters and do your things, stuff is already back, so after C2-C4 it's deffinitly not worth it in the slightest to Go for C6. It's prolly for some future shenenigans.

Who can seriously challenge C6 TIMMIE
I have to disagree about Raiden c6. It is indeed one of the most broken constellations. The ironic main problem of it, is that nothing lives long enough to fully take advantage of it.
Yelan's a4 literally has a stipulation "The pre-existing effect will be dispelled if Depth-Clarion Dice is recast during its duration." because of Raiden c6 lol. She could infinitely maintain Yelan's full A4 effect if it didn't.
It does also suffer from similar problems as other CDR cons such as Itto C2/Yoi C4 in that some rotations just can't be shortened because of the time it takes to reactivate supports. I do believe C6 Raiden likely has some good uses, unfortunately the amount of people who can truly test it are a very small percentage.
@@Ratheil I have Raiden C6 , and you can be super spammy with bursts with it . But like I said everything dies toi fast to really take too much advantage of it .
