Hello brother, Sooraj here Watching all yuh video's from Suriname. Just wanted to say Hi to the ARD family and all my Guyanese Brothers and Sisters. One love ❤
Hi Danny. Its always nostalgia for me when you visit my old town of NA. A place where I went to high school and spent a lot of fond memories until the age of 20. The old Guyana store building needs to be pulled down. That whole road, Danny is called Esplanade Road. Can't wait to make a return visit. Keep posting. Next time you have to go all the way to New Forest.
Mr ARD, u should have continued the journey on the east bank Berbice Road for the other 20 mins, there's a nature park called J&J fun Park. It's really nice, has lots of games, pool, zip line etc.
Hi ARD, my name is Benny, living in Maryland. Originally from Trinidad. Looking at your visit to New Amsterdam brought back fond memories. I visited a family living opposite the police station many times and saw the house in your video, not far from where Aldwyn lived. I probably visited Guyana 25 times before migrating to USA. Thank you for doing the tour of New Amsterdam. My son and I view your channel often. Hope we can meet up sometime in USA or Guyana. Will be in Trinidad July/August. Been to the Ricky's store in NY but not in time to meet him. I know you're busy but if you get the time, I be happy to chat a bit by email. I'd text my address if I had your number. Great job promoting Guyana. It was my second home.
Danny the road name Esplanad since the British time, there was a beautiful GARDEN there with all kinds of FLORA AND FONA, with a play ground for kids, very beautiful , until 1975 when the then government tare up the garden to put judges resident, so sad we use to go there on a one day school trip, your friend Alvin should know that garden, there was beautiful Bandstand in the garden and on the waterside for activities. Those were the days.
ARD that T&HD stelling was the place where all the cargo came for Berbice it was one busy place it was built in the 1950s I lived there as a child my dad was in charge of T&HD for there and the new Amsterdam
@@ITSOURLIFEARD T@HD had cargo ships like the lady Berbice, and ma Urumqi and most cargo was transported by ships they had adventure cargo northwest po It was all over and rice marketing board was always close to the stelling both in Stanley town and the goods department in Kingston
I really do enjoy your videos and I must admit you are making a difference I would love to talk hopefully sometime you will come to Canada since I am too old to travel
The famous Pitt Street in New Amsterdam was unrecognizable. The stores and buildings in Pitt Street was abandoned, the street was broken and smelly. Government do concentratei just one area. New Amsterdam was once a vibrant town with businesses and banks, hotels etc
The government should build wider roads in the ongoing road expansion network . Homes and house lot should be at least 1000 feet or more from street embankment.
Hello Mr Persaud. Greetings to you and your lovely family. Sir always enjoy your tours. I was in New Amsterdam in January 2024. New Amsterdam is surprisingly dilapidated from streets to Government buildings. The city hall by New Amsterdam market is dilapidated. That was the building everyone know and its a Government building. New Amsterdam post office where my dad was a post master in the 70s into early 80s is pittyful. The grounds is mud and water every where. This where everyone in Berbice would go in the days of sending telegrams to the US etc and mail important documents. For God sake it's a government building, make it look as such. The mental asylum is shameful. The ladies quarters., the ladies with no under wear, they sleep on a thin sponge on a twin bed with no mattress protection, so the smell of urine was horrible. The clothes that those ladies urinated on was put on a donkey or a horse cart to dry in the sun without being washed. NO ONE Sir should live in those conditions in their later years even though their mental capacity is limited. There were women their walking around without underwear. The smell was horrible. The first lady is only taken care of Georgetown where is rich friends and family live. She should visit the New Amsterdam mental institution and see how those men and women live. If that is where these people live and later die. Then is should be clean, and they should be well taken care off and die with dignity. Don't care forthem because of their mental disability. Shameful government of Guyana shameful. The government is only concentrating where the rich live in Georgetown, there are other places First Lady you should tour and do your rehabilitation. So Mr. Persaud being that you have a tour bus how do I get intouch for a tour with your company? I would like to do that the next time I visit Guyana. As always thanks for the videos. God's abundant love and blessings to you and your family always❤❤
Danny whoever did that road on water street ( Strand ) they done an amazing job, no accident has occur since then. How foolish you can be that everything has to go your way as the operator of the vehicle you must pay full attention on the road let others do the stuff sometimes you says a lot of garbage too and don't have the manners to say I made a mistake sorry. Disrespectful fellow do the right thing.

U sound very smart FYI it’s mandatory for speed pumps to be painted in Guyana. Do some research.
