  • Since the arrival of the wonderful @revolutiontrains inspection coach “Caroline” I fancied something a bit more prototypical to provide the traction,…like a class33.
Then I went & got one, but instead of BR blue I went Dutch!
Not sure if they were ever paired together in these liveries? Oh well rule one applies😄

Very nice! SHarp loco and coach... and rule one does apply. They looked good together, period!

A lovely 33 John, very nice, one of the best looking diesels built in my opinion. Looks well on the layout 👏 ATB....Andy

Yeah I agree, the 33s are a nice looking loco. It’s good to own another one since I had to sell the first one I had…

They would have made it to Crewe back in the day so the combo would’ve worked. Like me, if you like it then it works 👍
That corner is a great diorama.

WoW! I didn’t know that, it’s good to know.
Rule one applies here, but it’s good to think there’s a hint of realism in there 👍
I wish I could find the time to get stuck into the unfinished end of the layout, so there could be some different background shots….

@@colwichjunction3366I enjoy the running of layouts as opposed to endless waffle, the summer scene is great on the eye and very realistic as well as great platform to see the trains on an embankment and crossing the bridge etc.
I know the time thing is the biggie, me too. Glad I found your channel, a refreshing change 👍

I really love your layout, is it a loop? I can’t figure it out from all the different videos I’ve tried but can’t - you’re gonna have to do a layout tour 👍😁👍

Sorry for the late reply Dave, yeah I need to do something like that, the layout is basically 3 loops, with hidden fiddle yards behind the backscenes. Good idea in principle, but it’s bloody difficult getting to the back… I used set track curved points for access to the 4 lane fiddle yard behind the tunnel side of the layout, trouble is they tend to derail lots of the stock especially when being pushed by a loco… I could do with ripping it all out & starting again, I don’t get enough time to blow my nose normally, so that’s a way off at the moment.
Perhaps you could have a word with ladder man to see if he can lift me some points on his travels!
That’d save me a few pennies!
      Cheers John b🤒
