To be in UN you have to be recognized by a lot of countries, though the ones who recognize it call it a sovreign country. Though, Kosovo is a independent country ONLY to the ones who recognize it. You cannot say that Kosovo is not independent, as the creator of this video's country might politically recognize Kosovo. The countries that don't recognize it (Spain, Serbia, Russia etc.) didn't want to be in peace with Kosovo, so they don't recognize it until now.
You see, it is just a matter of politics. Some recognize it, and some don't.
