ASMR stands for Autonomous Sensory Meridian Response it is described as a pleasurable tingling sensation that can be felt most commonly in the back of the scalp and down the spine but not limited to these area's.
I try to describe ASMR experience to people using something common like visiting a hairdresser, do you find the experience of someone focusing on you, the gentle touching of your hair, the sound of the scissors moving around you relaxing?
That would be a relaxing experience, watching ASMR video is like recreating that type of experience.
I believe most people can experience ASMR, to experience ASMR you need to find you trigger, common triggers will often be related to one person focusing on you or another person and watching this person focus or give them attention will trigger it.
    Triggers:
Watching massage ** Baba Worlds Greatest Head Massage **
Watching a person focus and describe something there passionate about ** Bob Ross deep voice talking about painting, scraping sounds, brushing sounds. The forefather of ASMR **
Whispering ** Maria GentleWhispering the Queen of ASMR **
Listening to someones voice & the way the talk
Soft spoken voices & certain accents
    Hand Movements
Watching Someone Focus on a task
Personal Attention - like a hair cut
Any type of Role Play the best ones are ones that involve personal attention to you, examinations, face brushing ect
    Watching someone draw or paint
Sounds : Crinkle, Tapping, Scratching & multi layering of different sounds together
Almost anything can be a "trigger' for a persons ASMR everybody is different, you just have to find yours.

You're not fooling anyone. Those aren't microphones--they're lightsabers. And you're secretly a Jedi, and your videos are some sort of Jedi mind tricks to induce me to a state of sheer relaxation. :)

It's fantastic that your uploading on such a regular basis! Switching between left and right is so effective: I've not seen any of the other ASMR channels use this technique as well as you do. Keep up the great work, many thanks!

Ever since I've found your channel youve become one of my fabourite producers. I really enjoyed the way you were "showing" and talking about something you appear quite knowledgable and interested in. If you are trying to find new ideas for videos in the future, this type of detailed, well spoken "show and tell" type video is something i find highly enjoyable, and actually managed to bring back some tingles which I had lost for some time. Keep up the amazing work!

I think the "proper" way to position them for stereo is in an X-shape, one on top of the other. But what you've been doing so far has been working great!

When you have a split pair and they are off you'll get phasing sometimes and some of the frequencies are basically canceling each other out. If you have a phase setting on your zoom what you should do is listen for a second then flip the phase on one and listen again. Whichever setting sounds more full is the correct setting. Just graduated with a bachelors in audio production so this video was one of your best IMO

Well this explains why your videos sound so much more clean compared to everyone else's videos. Most other people, their voice is very low, I have to crank up the volume, and then I hear a ton of ambient noise, which I'm not a fan of. You definitely know what's up with recording quality audio.

I think if there's anyone who I'd want to win the lottery it'd be you, because you'd end up making out of this universe (as opposed to the out of this world like they are now) videos and recordings with better equipment and maybe a recording studio in your house...

  • @Shmil28
