Super stoked to see you up in Minnesota! I have been there many a time 😊 Once, as a kid on summer break, I visited the mall of America and in that rotunda they were having a clown convention. It was frightening! They were wandering all over the mall. Lol
I saw a show with a Hulk Hogan interview, and he said that he had been approached by a company wanting to name their new grill after him. He said he declined because he was probably going to sign with a different company so they could use his name for their meatball making machine. The meatball machine flopped, and the grill company ended up signing their second choice, George Foreman, who made a fortune with it. 😂
Never been to the Mall of America, but when I was 9 I was on the world's largest indoor ferris wheel up in Toronto, Canada. It was in the base of the Skylon Tower and it was frightenly fun.
Log ride needs to be renovated. Come on Stanley Mugs! That atrium area hosted a Wrestling show there, i think it was Monday Night Nitro or something. The theme park has always been great, Camp Snoopy was a better theme for MN. It didn't last that Barbie Cafe. Same with the Hard Rock before that. MOA is the location of the original rainforest cafe.
It's been more than 8 years for us, having been there. I'd like to go back one day. It would have been cool if you could have explored and shown more stores. I Love Orange Julius. It's making me want one now.
Carlo's was the bakery where Cake Boss was filmed... Carlo was the owner (family business started by his father) EDIT: Not surprised the coffee wasn't good... so many have said his bakery was more hype than taste.
The business wasn't started by his father, it was started by Carlo Guastaferro in 1910. It was purchased by Bartolo "Buddy" Valastro Sr., in 1964, and is now owned and operated by Bartolo "Buddy" Valastro Jr., (a.k.a. Cake Boss).
