Hi Lana, happy belated birthday! You’re one of my favorite RUclipsrs and you inspire me and others so much with every video you make ❤️ keep up the good work! You’re awesome at what you do
I thought i was the only one who did that silk scarf hack, I figured it out a couple months back and my hair has been lasting so much better, roots still get pretty stretched out but the ends stay in perfect ringlets for up to a week!
1. DON’T REFRESH HAIR (bc they go into a dif shape and get tangled) ( I don’t like to dampen hair that is not fresh bc of smell) 2. USE V HYDRATING LEAVE IN (tho it'll weigh curls down, so comes do preference what you want for the week) and a strong gel if necessary 3. Try to avoid extreme weather (rain, wind, humid) by covering the hair 4. Put hair into a bonnet immediately after going home 5. Half up half down (in a way so it doesn't get stretched out) (ALSO USING GEL IF NEEDED TO KEEP HAIR IN PLACE) 6. Satin scrunchie 7. Bonnet + Silk scarf technique (sometimes use when really want defined curls)
How can a curly haired woman keep her hair kooking good throughout the day? All these instructionsl videos from so many women wirh curly hair. No one tells women how to keep curly hair looking good throughout the day.
Omg I have literally never commented on anyone's YT video before, but Lana, I just wanted to say thank you thank you THANK YOU for saying that once your hair is in a bun, they're done!! SO TRUE but literally (I feel) everyone else recommends pineappling your hair for sleeping. I'd say that since COVID & working remotely, wearing my hair in a pineapple every day has 100000% helped my hair grow, but it's stretched out my bottom curls like crazy and I hope your method will help me eventually get them back! I definitely cannot get my hair back looking normal after pineappling lol, especially without water/refreshing them. Thanks for the fantastic tips :D
This might be controversial but I have always believed that wavy hair gets more frizzy then curly hair. Idk maybe my hair just gets frizzy more easily.
0:01 Oh Wow You are amazingly absolutely beautiful. Your hair is looking very beautiful. My dream curly hair, I'm in love with your hair. I am buying all the products because I'm transitioning
This is my first video I've seen of yours and I'm already very impressed! I've only lately started taking really good care of my hair, and it's normally crazy frizzy, especially if I have tried to blow it out.
Great tips! Very helpful tips esp using the scarf to protect early wash week curls. Also love the somewhat fancier half up do, I’ll have to try that in the middle of my next wash week. Thanks so much!
@@LanaSummer yes! I’ve stopped “rehydrating or redampening” my hair, and I’ve noticed that my hair just looks and feels better that way. Just bought the leave in conditioner you mentioned so I’m excited to try it once I wash my hair today!
I totally agree about the RUclips Shorts! I felt like I was uploading an ad every time I tried to make a Short. 😭 RUclips should stick to being RUclips-it’s been doing well for them so far! Lol Anyway, welcome back! Your hair is gorgeous as always!🎉💝
Hi, I just saw your under eye bag injections in Korea, did you keep up with the filler or do surgery for it? Or nothing? What ended up happening with your under eye bags?
I let that one wear off, and I actually ended up getting a more long lasting one in London with Pulse Light Clinic. It lasts longer but it was way more painful than the Korean clinic, because in Korea they gave me pain medication through a drip! X
I do! My hair seems to last way longer if I only diffuse part way and let it air dry the rest of the way (at home)! Something about diffusing makes it not last as long! Important to air dry at home and not touch your hair while it's drying! Otherwise it'll end up frizzy
does your scalp not stink or get dandruff? because mine does after 2 days 😭 no matter what i do i cant get pass 2 days without my scalp smelling so bad and being itchy because of dandruff
i do work in construction work i having problem with a lot of dry and frizzy hair i think one of the reasons why is because i am washing my hair everyday even i use products with not sulfats in what alternative could i use on days after wash day to keep my hair clean without having to use shampoo everyday
This reply is rlly late haha but I think if the issue is dust from construction getting in your hair you could find some way to cover your hair? Depending on what youre comfortable with you could wear a thin beanie or other sort of hat that fits under your hard hat. For excessive oil build up or dandruff, that could be due to excessive gel or other styling products, or even a disproportionate amount of shampoo and conditioner used during wash day. However if the issue is sweat I dont personally know a solution sadly.
Hi, even know I don't watch your videos all the time I just wanna say you have helped me so much with my hair, how to lookafter it, how much I need to watch it, how to style it and so much more so I juat want to say a really big thank you ❤
For me working out at home, I usually use a headchie to tie it loosely low down during my short cardio warm ups. Like jumping jacks, high knees etc, it will fall down if it's top of my head anyway, and a bonnet will fall off. So that's why I just tie it back loosely. Then I usually do some combination of strength training/pilates and I can pretty much do the bonnet trick I mentioned at the end. It usually stays on. I find that I dont sweat much in my workouts so this is fine for me. Otherwise I would do a loose bun on top of my head, secured with a big claw clip. The claw clip has better grip than a scrunchie, so you dont have to stretch your curls by tying the scrunchie tightly. I hope that helps!

I think it’s easier to believe that she used magic! 🧚♀️✨😂
You should compare my hair on day 1 and day 2, the difference is atrocious.

I have just done my wash n go which has come out with maxi curls. I have literally just did the scarf and bonnet method in this video.
I hope it works for you! I love that combo when my curls are perfect!
@@LanaSummer it did. My curls were popping this morning and sat beautifully all day. Thanks for tip girl xxx

Hey can i use flaxseed gel daily on my hair?

Glad you like them! ❤️❤️
YES SIS FINALLY SOMEONE USES RHYME AND REASON!!!
could i use a styling cream and a mousse with the leave in?
Absolutely!
Is it important to use gel after applying leave in conditioner? ......and thanks alot for all the tips 😁
With the Rhyme & Reason, you dont necessarily need a gel, but I usually do do both :)
@@LanaSummer ok thanks 😁
Is it ok to style your hair everyday? And if it is, how do you get the gel out or do you leave the product in your hair?
do you think air drying vs diffusing makes a difference?
yes

I love this method, but I work out 4X a week. So, what method would you do?
Your hair is sooo beautiful! Happy belated birthday ❤️ where did you get your bonnet from xx
does your scalp not stink or get dandruff? because mine does after 2 days 😭 no matter what i do i cant get pass 2 days without my scalp smelling so bad and being itchy because of dandruff
Nope! You may need to investigate further about the dandruff and maybe talk to a professional x

i almost do all these tips but once i workout it all gets stretched out! how do you manage it with workouts ?
