Have been playing guitar for just 1.5 years, heard you guys for the first time at download 2015 when you blew my fucking mind! Didn't realise the BEST metal band today is from the UK!!! New Mission: Learn to play something by Sylosis!!
+p4fizzle I'm a guitar player for a little more than a year now and even though I have a few guitar players that inspire me, Josh and Dave Mustaine are the only ones that actually influenced me somehow. I learned Mercy a few months ago and although I can only play it with a bit slower tempo, I'm proud of it, since I don't know many complete songs yet. Now, Fear the World is the next Sylosis song I want to learn.
MrBX5 Awesome man!!! I haven't attempted any Sylosis yet, just got a few LoG TAB books so trying them out for a bit. I'm the same, can play a few things but not much at full speed & clean. Mercy is a great track! I think when I try some Syslosis, Fear The World will be a top contender!! All the nest mate!
@@espn1337 Haha! I had an unfortunate collar bone incident a few years ago which was tough. Couldn't play for nearly a year, took me another 6 months to pick up a guitar because I was so bad. But back into it now. I'm a better player now but have less stamina lol. So to answer your question I can play quite a few of their riffs. The only track I can play end to end is Leech. Got the solo down too but not at 100%. Can also play most of Teras, excluding the solo and sweepy bits. Teras gets really sloppy after the first verse just because of fatigue. Sorry for the long answer, but after a comment i made 6 years ago I feel as though I should have more to show for myself lol
What kind of pickup was in this gibson les paul special? dude it's killer! I think I can tell you guys pulled the neck pick up and added a pick guard. this guitar dosent sound like your typical guitar. The tone is full dark and punchy, also super defined clarity on the high end. this guitar is just freaking tone very nice, very impressive!

määp hahaha no shit! Gonna have to search for something without sweeps....The stamina factor is also an issue at this point lol
