One of the things I miss most about straightening my hair is that feeling when your wrap drops. That's how you really know your silk press is unclockable. Wash and condition, straight. Blow dried correctly, straight. Flat iron was done properly, straight. Ends were clipped, straight. Wrap is molded, straight. Then the wrap drop. 😍 As you can see I live vicariously through your clients. Lol

Felisia M I use biosilk, leave in conditioner and heat protectant only.. just kinda gotta gauge the amount of the products just right and get a super silky blow out... the roots of your hair shouldn’t be tight and curly after you blow dry
It took me awhile to realize the blowout (with heat protectant) is the key! And yes, got a $4 RED universal comb attachment for my conair blow dryer from the hair store and it changed my life.

Gorgeous!!! Healthy and great cut! I went natural two years ago, cut 7” of relaxer out and now wearing braids to grow it back. It’s growing sooo fast. This cut (a little longer) is my goal. One length. Bangs were like an inch long and now past my nose!!! If only miss janay was in my city!!!! So much talent in them hands!!!!🙌🏾

Would you include the name of the spray you used before blow drying, shampoo conditioner. This is perfect for my long thick Italian hair.
Have you tried dream coat by color wow? It fills in the pores in the hair shaft that absorb humidity (which make frizz and non silky hair) It’s a miracle spray. One day I’ll fly in to trim and do the flat iron wrap around the head and those curls on the bottom. Just gorgeous.

What heat do you use for your silk press with the babyliss flatiron? How to prevent that burnt smell? 😩
You might want to turn the flat irons down a bit or wipe them off. I use to have this problem as well. Also, do you deep condition your hair properly?

Raine Bianco yeah that’s it! If the hair is dry and is not moisturized deep within the structure of the hair, the bonds in our hair will result into that ‘burnt smell’.
