- We were lucky to explore Iceland's new volcano eruption on Reykjanes Peninsula at Fagradalsfjall in Geldingadalur just hours after it started. The lava flows were very impressive and this was one of the most impressive things I have ever seen!

Some day Tom will tell his grandchildren: "I was there when that mountain was only 10 meters tall."
The best video I've seen yet that shows what it is REALLY like to be there. Thank you from someone who will never be able to experience irl.
The most well behaved volcano I have ever seen
Someone called it a tourist volcano
Don’t jinx it
Better than the one in Hawaii
Modern day Viking behaviour
Shocking! Beautiful! Crazy!
Great view...this volcano is epic. Very beautiful to watch.
Beautiful guys! Thank you! Stay safe
This is so calming...
Wow, awesome footage 🤓
Lava at night is one of the beautifulest sights 😍
Epic adventure, great shots walking the trail , lava closeups ...wow, reclined with a front row...totally awesome, thanks for taking us along. I Liked & Shared
Thank you very much! :)
Mesmerizing.
Just amazing. Beautifully shot, all the angles, the sound
Thank you for sharing this I live in California and the United States. This was a wonderful treat. You guys did a wonderful job
Hi Bobbie thanks for watching!
Amazing, liquid rock. To be present when the earth is making more of its self, just beyond surreal.
That is so cool. Especially gorgeous at night.
Courage or madness? In any case, the images are fascinating! Take care! Many toxic gases in that area.
Could you imagine all the energy coming out of there
Imagine the energy in the earth's mantle and core.....
So happy we got to see this together. 💜💚
Thank you so much ! I'm from Quebec and enjoyed ever second of it including your choice of music !
Nature, even when it is angry 😤 is beautiful, thanks
What a wonderful video. Its amazing to think that pretty much everywhere you walked that day is under 100ft of lava now. No human will ever rest on that spot on the hill where you were sitting ever again. Kinda cool
Thank you for sharing this experience! So close, I was a little scared for you! What an experience! 😊❤️👍🏻
You should not have an animal anywhere near here. You cannot tell how hot the ground is, and a dog can burn it’s pads so easily.
Same reason they rarely get foot punctures - four feet. They can take pressure off immediately. Without shoes between their nerves and the ground, they will have it figured out long before the smell of melted rubber from your shoe tells you.
I can't believe anyone is standing or sitting that close to that volcano we don't know what's going on under the ground you could blow the hell up just like Mount Saint Helen but people are hard-headed
@@judyvaughn761 I think this is a shield volcano... not much chance it will blow out like Mt St Helens.
@@bellbookcandle3051 True. Though it is being fueled by the mantle plume so this one can continue for years or decades.
@@judyvaughn761 Mt St Helens had a massive eruption due to glacial ice. The real danger are the natural gases that form in low areas.
Some amazing footage here... Wow.... It would be amazing to see that up close
This video is awesome! Thanks you guys!
Amazingly so beautiful but so destructive another wonderful work of mother Nature thanks for sharing nice video.
Gorgeous footage! Thank you!💗🌋
The guy at 4:29 .. I literally cried out of longing. Man, I wish I could lie and admire the view like that someday.
only you are stopping you.
@@survivortechharold6575 I wish.... Right now, its just COVID travel restrictions in my country stopping me. But, someday, hopefully! :)
Beautiful
Must have thrilling to see !! Thank you for the video
Now that is awsome
Thanks for underscoring the fire with soothing music. It accented the beauty. Wonderful magma closeups. That was two days ago - by now, the left hand two have merged, and the little guy is spouting more than #1. It is also almost as tall. I expect them to merge tonight?
Beautiful cinematography. Thank you, for those of us who can’t be there.
fantastic!!
It is magical!
Thank you. Love those people at 5.42, like a picnic in the park! Let’s hope the wind doesn’t suddenly change direction!
The wind has changed direction!
Awe inspiring and a little bit terrifying
Credits to Iceland, they know how a real BBQ party should look like.
Iceland and BBQ - quite a contradiction.
Lava reminds me of my muffin batter but not glowing!
thank you so much for sharing these moments with us! im absolutely fascinated by this country and i do sooo love it. unfortunately I dont think im able to visit again any time soon... my hearts bleeding but at least we can enjoy videos and pictures from you guys.
Thank you Sabrina, I hope you’ll make it here ❤️
Thank you for doing this. It’s so beautiful. Take care
Thanks Judy you too
WoW!
I find this a very spiritual experience. Just incredible!! 2021 is already better 🌋🤗
Wow. So beautiful. Iceland is so lucky
holy cow they are close!!
They destroyed the ring
Wooow so beautyfull.
Spectacular
Wow 😳 amazing beautiful and interesting 🤔
Awesome! Remember when you play with fire you get burnt!
Play with fire, you make cool things out of metal, drive cars, fly rockets and cook an awesome steak. Not to mention have a once in a lifetime experience in an Icelandic lava field.
@@cecilbrisley5185 Maybe you should come and play also!
I can't help but think that this is a little of what Hell will look like.. It will be dark with eternal fire and the sounds from the never ending screams from the lost and unsaved souls will be deafening..
I agree Richard!
The scene is a little too beautiful to be Hell.
That is the reason for volcanoes . The eruption is to make hell bigger
Or you can just sit back, enjoy the view and not think about such mumbo jumbo nonsense ..
Yes Allah is god you just had to believe in Allah and u have to pray
Great video.this is how the earth was created and everything on it including us humans. Greetings from Montreal Canada.
Beautiful video 👍
superb video, very lucky you for being in the right place, right time! Also lucky with the weather as it snowed later. Must have been a long treck to the site, how long did it take?
8 hours! But they have now opened a shorter route to reach it ;)
No way would I sit on that hill. I saw how fast the lava came down when the cone cracked the other night.
Oh wow, what a very awesome and beautiful video! :-)) ♡ regards from germany, Andrea Maria
Danke maria!
@@tomdreamsbig Bitteschön! :-)))
I will visit Iceland once the COVID 19 restrictions are over and I get vaccinated. Montreal Canada.
That was cool. So when you were close to the base of the chimney. I think you're on a hill which makes it look really really close. But how close were you actually. I was nice to hear it rumble, crackle. Thanks for the vid.
Thanks for watching. About as close as possible 🙈but only a few minutes, we were too scared to sit there like the other people xD
They call it Gelding Valley, because if you are not careful, the lava will roast your balls!
Lmao
Ther was a farmer who took his lambs there to eat grass and lambs are often called Geldingar
Wow thanks for putting together such a killer video and sharing it! Holy shit.
Thank you for watching! :d
It‘s kinda peaceful
The lava doesn't cause much fire as it advances because there's not much vegetation because of the cold climate and maybe it erupts regularly. But imagine a volcano erupting like this in a forest in warmer climes, maybe along with a strong breeze to push along any flames. This is to be appreciated because it's just a gentle firework display in comparison
Conta pra gente!!! Um abraço
Dont think i would sit that close to that cone, there was a vid yesterday of the side of it falling away, they would have been vaporised.
I would make basalt tiles
can you make a version without the music? the real time natural sound would be greatly appreciated.
So many cars. Maybe they can set up carpools?
If your heat ever goes out, come here
ah, Iceland, the land of gentle, tourist-friendly volcanoes :)
Eu tb ia querer ver de perto
If my wild hunch of Norris Geyser basin sprouting some spatter cones starts to occur, I'll try to head there and return the favor.
☕🐸
Thanks for the vid. I don't know why, but it made me hungry..)/*
Thanks for watching, bon appétit 😋
My goodness
The Opening of this Video,is like: WELCOME TO THE REAL HELL,I WANT YOUR SOUL!!
I've been feeling the energy of the earth
I’m wondering if there’s any activity in the mid Atlantic range that connects to Iceland.
Ok people are too close!
What a dream come true! 💜💚
Absolutely! 😭
Subahanllah
I hate that i don't live in grindavik anymore right now, super jealous on everyone that is there right now
Que loucura estar tão perto....😱😱😱😱😱😱😱😱😱
Imagine the guy penetrating that rocky shell and dipping his foot into lava...
Which is better this or the northern lights😉
This is more unique. But equally nice as Aurora 😇💚
I see three fissures open with one with a established cone, which one was active first?
Hi! The large one on the right
You should have left the music off. It would be nicer to hear the natural sounds.
PIROMANOS... ☝️
How quickly the lava field has grown, and the little cone!
I hope someone wil also make a movie from this in 3D and without music, so that we can enjoy this with VR glasservies and hear the real sounds from down below
Is there only the one main vent? Or are there multiple vents?
Multiple ;)
How long will it flow ?
Lava pop under the lava blanket
No fumes/gases?
hmm, Muspelheim? :D
Micah 1:4 The mountains melt beneath Him and the valleys split apart , like wax before the fire, like water rushing down a slope. Lord Jesus Christ is coming soon 🙏🏼❤️🕊REPENT, believe in the Gospel, Be Born Again
