I been playing drums since 78 been in many bands good bands so I like to believe I know the diff between a journey man vs apprentice & mike stumbling on to u has been amazing u have act together ur tone is insane and u play the right way seasoned stud ! U do this song way better than anyone else on here u probably have been rolling players up and smoking them for years u get out what u put in u have put in no doubt

Nice video...loved this song since I first it many many moons ago.
This comes WAYYYY late and you propbably already know it but your floating bridge problem, you block the bridge and it does not solve the problem, until you increase the spring tension (which you can do now because of the block) and voila, now the bridge does not come up because the spring tension is high enough to pin it (dont crank down on them so you cannot lift the bridge when you need to though, I saw a fellow put all 5 springs on, tension them heavily and bend his trem arm because he had wayyy too much spring tension on, and his bridge would not lift no matter how hard he tried, as I said it bent his arm))

hey thanks paul...its not going to be a big theory based website...im not a big fan of spending insane amounts of time trying to explain theory....it will be a more hands on approach...get results fast....chord theory,scale theory...and the basic concepts of theory will be discussed but in my opinion and experience,its all about "hands on"...

Dude, can you do Cumin Atcha Live by Tesla? I tried to learn it from Frank Hannon in the studio years ago but I couldn't nail it. My skills have improved a lot and I think I can nail it now. There's not a single lesson on that song on RUclips. Don't think anybody can land the intro, which is what I really want to learn.

Cool Mike, I always Played EAD (That 3 note Group) 1 (2X),3,5 Then went to 5th Fret Low E and did the same thing 3(2X),5,7) EAD (So I was playing 8 patterns of 3, but really fast! No wonder it was hard to hit them all, I was playing 24 notes instead of 12. LOL (But I did it!) :) Telsa is a bad Ass group. I forget about them from time to time, but then I remember and I'm Like, WOW, they are awesome! UPDATE! They DO Play 12 notes on the 2 patterns, JUST not at beginning! :)

mike gross Hey, I started learning this song because I've always loved the intro and solo. I've noticed all the tabs I've found online as well as most covers only play that intro lick with ten notes (1st fret on the E then the rest of it the way you play it). I can't imagine it actually being that way. The way you play the intro seems dead on to me but I'm really bad at picking this stuff out by ear.
Have you slowed the song down at all to see if it really is 12 notes or if everyone is right and not just lazy?
The OP probably doesn't care anymore as he asked 3 years ago, but in case anyone else has seen those tabs and has the same question, the tabs are wrong, Mike is right. The bass and maybe a rhythm guitar play an F right at the start of the song which makes it hard to hear that the lead guitar is playing the 1-3-5 on the low E but it is definitely there.

Hey mike can you do? Tesla No way out,,Heavens Trail I can sing the shit out of it just started the Guitar , I might beat you to it,,sounds bad , I might beat you by ear..looks easy for you. Theres nothing like the real world world part is a little muddy.. Slide solos no prob.. looks like the esiest Tesl rocker to handle...in a trio.
