- Just a quick walk around with the details of my car. Got car as a trashed roller in July of 16 and this is what I have done in little more than a year. As of the date of this vid the car has run 12.09 @ 115 in True Street trim.
Ive always loved this style Thunderzord. 1983 to 1988
Very nice, brings back memories of my ‘85 Turbo Coupe, fun car!
Beautiful car. I had a stock 5.0 84 T'Bird in high school and college and wish I still had it!
Thank you much! Make sure to check out the recent vids on channel to see what it’s up to now!
Beautiful T-Bird you got there brother! 👍
Bad ass T-bird.....I have an '88 Turbo Coupe that I'm redoing. You just don't see any Fox body T-birds anymore.
Beautiful T Bird i want to get me one i luv the 80s FoxBody car's
Beautiful car, going to look at a 86 tomorrow
Love it. I've owned (2) '83s and (1) '86. Looking hard trying to find another one right now.
Awesome car! Classic Tbird. I'd be blasting Slayer screaming down the road in that Tbird!!!!!
SLAYER!!!
Beautiful car I have a 85 cougar with a 5.0 non HO I like the combo you put together i will be doing a topend swap soon on mine 👍
Awesome custom Thunderzord
My love for this car, 83 in particular...
comes from my dad. He had two 83 tbirds. One red turbo coup and one luxury model with electric everthing
Keep watching the channel cuz big stuff going down right now with this car!
That was badass man. Truly stock looking.
Thank you! Wait til you see the new version of it
@@randumadventures it's been re-done better than this?
@@jesusofamerica check my channel for newer vids. It’s getting a coyote now
Great car. . I had 5 . . . 83-88s . . . Never cared for the Vent windows on 83-84 tho . . . Nice car 😊
If it had a/c I’d agree about the vent windows also
Very nicely done! My '86 is being stripped and painted now, will style it after a faux NASCAR setup with Arrow race wheels, custom suspension, explorer rear end with a 1970 351C that I'm assembling forged/ etc. Trick flow fuel injection setup. I have an '88 turbo coupe also that I really like for a road car. Bought an '86 new. Once again one of the best looking I've seen, nice job.
Ron Dye Channel sounds like an awesome build!
love this car man, next time i'm up there i want a ride...
I also had an 83 Tbird back in the college days. It had the fuel injected 302. I remember back then going to a muffler shop and they couldn’t put duals on it since the fuel line runs down the right side. So disappointed. It was a good car
I like that this car only has a single exhaust. I made 420hp to wheels through this 3” single system so I have no complaints
Nice setup. My parent had a 88 5.0 T' Bird. Looking to find turbo coupe or V8
I really didn't like this body style but after seeing your car I love it and now I want one. Everything you did 2 it made it look mean and it wasn't over kill they should've came stock looking like this.
MARIA S wow well thank you very much! I’m very proud of this car
I just bought a 84 T-bird with 90k original miles on it. Right now it's black with red interior but the vinyl on the front seats is trashed so I'm going to have them recovered in tan, the back seat and the rest of the interior is in really good shape so I'm gonna clean it up and change it to all to tan as well. on the outside I'm going to repaint it Black and flat black the chrome, I never considered flat black the roof but yours looks phenominal and it's got me thinking about flat blacking mine, then I'm going to put some Torque Thrust wheels with the black centers on it . Where did you get the hood scoops? They look amazing. The Engine I'm going to pretty up, I'm just building a nice Cruise-in/ Cars and Coffee/Local Car Show car. I'm not looking to do 200 down the interstate, just something that looks nice and sounds nice.
The hood is just a stock 88 TC hood. Your plans sound like yours will be a sweet ride once done
@@randumadventures o.k. thanks. Guess I'm finding a 88 TC Hood then.
Patiently waiting for updates on this ride.
They are coming! Been held up the past couple weeks waiting on parts
Maybe I missed it somewhere... what steering wheel is that looks like SVO Mustang wheel.?
It’s out of a 86 mustang GT
That’s awesome! I love it! That’s what I want for my 83 T-Bird. Do you have a list of parts you used? Driveline, interior, trim, etc... I’ve never seen that steering wheel before. I live it!
If you go to website Foxtbirdcougarforums.com I have a full build thread there under the name Deathbypsi
@@randumadventures Thanks!
Did you say you had the car worked on in Toledo? I am in Columbus, and in the process of acquiring a Super Coupe, and am not sure of good places in the state to take it to for modifications and upgrades! Let me know.
I built the car myself and only took it to Accelerated Performance to have Microsquirt computer tuned on their dyno. They probably wouldn’t work on your car because they specialize in Supra’s and High end imports
@@randumadventures Oh okay. You did say Toledo though correct? Do you know anyone in Ohio who would/(can) work on a Super Coupe?
@@andrewbrown1796 yea Toledo. I personally don’t know of anyone up here that works on those cars
How did you fit those long headers in? I tried long Headmans in my 88, and it burned up the starter. The Header also prevented the starter and transmission from being removed. I had to change to short headers. I have a 347 Stroker with MSD EFI. 40 Flowmasters. Nothing has been done to the chassis, brakes, or suspension.
Thunderbird88 BBK must build them completely different because these fit like a glove with zero issues
@@randumadventures I have heard other people also say long headers are hard to fit in foxbody Thunderbirds. The starter was inside the tubes with all that heat, and would not come out without unscrewing the header from the manifold, and tilting it back.
Love ur ride man super nice i have a 85 t bird im doing a coyote swap and im going to get a k member for it how did yours fit any issues thanks
Small Engine Repair I have this car rip apart again doing a coyote swap now. No k member issues
@@randumadventures o sweet man im fare from Gettin close lol its all torn apart waiting for the k member and some suspension parts i know it takes time to make vids but u should make some that would be awesome there ain't no videos on anybody doing a coyote Swap and one of these cars yet thanks for the reply appreciate it good luck on the build I know it's going to be beautiful when it's done are u using the F150 engine or the Mustang
Small Engine Repair I plan to document the whole build here on my channel. I already have a few vids in the bag of the gutting
@@randumadventures right on sounds good im subed to u now so i will be waiting!!
Also u said u used 95 mustang spring to lower it are they stock from the 95
Re-carpet and re-upholster the interior?
Nope the carpet and seats are just cleaned original stuff
