Yup, love Dartmouth and this property is in a great location. Definitely on my viewing list if I ever win the Lotto. Ensuites are quite compact, ok just not luxurious like some others. Concerns over accessibility for elderly guests and with global warming and the south west's history of flooding, question how close this is to the water. If you eat the local fish n chips watch out for those 'killer' seagulls, I Know from experience they will snatch your food right from your lap 😁

Yup definitely a lovely house .. If I had the cash, a few things though ermm the so-called cinema room was funny looked like a portable tv on the wall and a few bean bags. Don't think this would pass as a cinema room lol. And one thing I've noticed I don't know about anyone else ..Is it a new trend to put pictures and mirrors just up against a wall now and not put them on it. I don't get it. Seen a few properties now that seen to be doing the same thing. Will the wall fall down or something.

I don’t think it’s an area for more mature family members shall we say, it’s quite a hilly cliff sort of area, up by the town it’s flatter but so so busy in season, would not be my first destination of choice now.
@@sandrawestley4193hi, yes I know the the area around there and the pitfalls for aching joints but would like to think I could still cope, sighhhh. Have a great Christmas season.
amazing house,Tom and Jaz have really stepped up their game lately. Only negative for me is the glass balustrade, you need a railing to lean against , looking out ,
The view on this place is fantastic however and it is a deal breaking however. I would never want to raise small children in this house so close to the water. It’s asking for an accident to happen. Even teenagers would end up diving off the balcony into that water at some point. The view is amazing though I must say.
That's one of the most brilliant libraries I've ever seen, too large for the entire villa so it spreads into another private Art library & art-gallery & all with roof-garden views of Corsica across the Med., where a magnificent lightning-viewing chamber is under construction - oops, sorry, that's my pad but my 12 bedrooms place in Devon was fabulous also.
@@greedyworkman2565 I would never envy wealth as its love is the root of all evil - hence, I tend to see flash pads as corridors going down into the flames & the attempt of Heaven on earth is as much of Heaven as its occupants get. Berlusconi's Cannes villa even contains his golden throne AS IF [!]. I'm merely a grateful steward & librarian for goods belonging to the Lord God, whereas the deluded rich act like fleas who think they own the lion. Scratch scratch & down they go.
You wouldn’t go for a sailing holiday in Covent Garden, this is a sailing area, for boat mad people, we used to hire the boats 30 years ago, now the people that go here own the sailing boats.
They are saying that is what the room function is it's just furnished or finished obviously the seller didn't want to to complete it as they are selling up.
Agents link is in the description. "Ten Fathoms also offers a garage as well as parking for 2 vehicles and has planning permission for additional parking" Though Google streetview doesn't go down the hairpin bend to show the parking/garage.
I love Dartmouth but this house is too modern for me. No soul. It hasn't got the historic character I would want. There was a time I would have loved a Victorian villa higher up either in Dartmouth or on the Kingswear side of the Dart looking across at Dartmouth. At my age though, a small terraced house or cottage on a hill a short walk from the town centre would be enough I must remember to buy a lottery ticket this month. 😜
Dartmouth is sadly becoming overpriced. 3million to have a small entertaining area and neighbors literally on top of you. You are paying for the position and the river but like the other property 3million up the road its about a million and half over what you should be paying. And a room with bean bags doesn't mean its a cinema room!
For that price, kitchen is smaller than a uni bedsit,, And THATS not a cinema room,,stop trying to up -sell a mediocre living room with a 42inch tv??? You lot having a laugh?and with all the climate change and waters rising,,these kind of properties will be the first to flood.NOT WORTH THE RISK OR PRICE.
As much as it is an interesting property with unique features, it has so many negative points to it all, I think £3m would appear to be very optimistic.
Devon, a lovely place, a quirky home, but for 3 million, I would’ve loved to have seen more on the access, the outside space, the garden, and car parking etc, ie is there a lift, a garage, parking for friends and family, when you look at the property, your a long way down from the main road, plus surrounded by other properties. What you showed was nice, but it was the things that you didn’t show that interested me more, oh and that’s not a cinema room, that’s just a spare room with a tv on the wall, just my opinions. Thanks.

What a wasted opportunity. Awful architect given that location. Yes the view is amazing, as is the location, but the rest? Small square rooms with no imagination. Apart from the kitchen, it could be any 2 bedroom house on a new estate from Barratt. Every bedroom the same, bit of glass, standard bathrooms - built purely for profit. Even the painted white wooden bannisters looked Wimpy cheap. Such a shame given the plot. The wow was the view, not the house.
For crying out loud! Cinema rooms are so, so out of fashion. This one is barely furnished. Another recent example was sharing the space with bicycles and lawnmowers!! Tell your clients to get real and that you will be ignoring them.
I love riverfront and seafront properties more please
This is a really really nice house. What a great setting.
Wow ... Fantastic Property. Fantastic location right by the river.
It seems a lovely house with excellent view. My concerns are flooding. The lower ground floor appears close to the water.
absolutely stunning, that view is incredible
I appreciate your presentations. Most people posting just confuse the layout and make no sense.
Lovely house, spotted this one when we were out on our rib in the summer 😊
Devon is stunning, it almost doesn't look like it's in England but a Scandinavian country!

Cinema room?!! 🤣 A tv and a few scattered bean bags does not count for a cinema room. Loooool 😆
Stunning house. The views are to die for.
Beautiful house

Stunning place and I love the decor, great tour as always guys but 1.5M for the house and 1.5M for the views I think.
Gorgeous house
Thank you
Lovely house, just not a large enough outside entertaining area and I never heard you mention ’parking’, i’m going to need somewhere to park my Aston.
I have no insider or local knowledge but believe they have planning permission for parking and turning space

As lovely as it is, if I had £3 Million I wouldn't be buying in the UK.
Either would I That place has gone to the dogs...
What an amazing home, beautiful, I’ve worked in Dartmouth lovely town. I could see myself entertaining my friends for new year xx

Hi from California ❗️😝
Good evening
How often does it flood?
seems only space for 1-2 people to sit and enjoy the view at any one time ?
Superb, if I win the lottery tomorrow then I will definitely be buying this one!
If I win the lotto this is on my viewing list just got concerns of proximity to the waters edge and parking
@@James-BB70 good points, looks like parking would be a big issue.
From Mexico
Wouldn't call that a cinema room, its a room with some bean bags and a telly
I expect he means can be developed into a cinema room, you have to use your imagination when not finished.
Wow amazing scenery
Nicely pushing up the house prices so locals can't afford anything
Loving these homes!!!
Beutiful home by the waters edge, I love to go sea fishing and would very much compliment me beutifluly... Great Home... Great...

Beautiful listing!
Lovely house but on the wrong side....no sun
Only thing missing is an internal lift, 4 floors, not so good when your getting over the hill 😎🥺🥴 oh and no balcony on the master bedroom?

The First Crusade was declared in 1096… so crusaders wouldn’t have been setting sail in the Tenth century (the one from 900-999 AD). 😁

That tv will give you neck pain though, never understood why people hang tv's so high up.
Cinema room 🤣🤣🤣🤣
What happens if the water level increase
I saw it for some some time ago… they could bring the price down
i could actually fish from my bedroom window . 🤣🤣🎣🎣
Worth every penny
Huge mistake with the cabinets not going to the ceiling in the kitchen.
or for only £2m more you coulld get a 2 bed flat in Covent Garden! ;-)

I saw a funny shaped room with 4 bean bags and a tiny TV on the wall!

My part of the country and what a beautiful town Dartmouth, it must be great to have that amount money to spend on a property
home is unsafe for flood emergencies
great vid but the guy takes control abit too much. nice property but needs more wow factor for me.
I dont agree - that guy you speak of is the star of the show for me - alongside the property that is

Amazing house . Is it south or west facing though?
The estuary is pretty much north/south, and the house is on the west bank. The views out the windows over the river are facing east.

Always with the white walls. So impersonal, so not like a home.
It there was global warming and sea rising you wouldn't be able to sell it
You can have all this space to live in but a house int a house without a back garden ill stick to my terrace 3 bed with big back garden 😂😂
Where can you park cars ?
I can only imagine how that ceiling speakers sound.......... Must be 2 700 000£
