Hold both the home button and power after 4 seconds take your finger off the power and keep your finger on the home button for 10 more seconds and then you’re in recovery
I had the same issue until i plugged it into my laptop and re-did all the steps and it worked

Finally!!! Best tutorial! I have watched soooo many tutorials for my bootloop over the last 4 days that have been useless but yours is brilliant!! Thank you for showing us it doesn't always work first time and telling us to be patient and try again and let the apple icon go on and off again for 10 mins after restore etc etc... other tutorials make it look so straight forward and like it will happen first time!

hey so my ipads storage was packed with files and completely full, I tried to do an icloud AND itunes backup but it did nothing because it was obviously too full to do anything, then it got stuck in bootloop and now I have to reset it. My whole work(graphic design, art stuff) from Procreate was on it. Is there any known way to recover my data at this point? or is it really all lost forever
My phone was bootlooping for 2 days and tried every tips here on yt but none worked til this one. I tried to update it, didnt work, then tried to restore it for nth time (more then 5 times) yeah im that desperate and didnt give up lol. I recently updated to the iOS 14 beta. I didn't like it so I tried to go back to 13. Something went wrong and it sent my iPhone into a boot loop. I tried it again and it still didn't work. Beth Soutar no. I had to go back to Apple and explain to them what happened. I told them when I went in my phone was working. I guess they felt bad and they said they would replace my phone for half the price.

IDK if this is meant to happen but after a while of it going into recovery mode, while my MacBook is downloading the latest update for my iPhone X it comes out of recovery mode screen and starts boot looping again by itself and the update hasn't even finished downloading.

i have my 8+ updated to the latest version of iOS 13. last night it said storage was full, but i fell asleep. this morning i deleted the twitter app (it was 1,6 GB already) to make some room so i could use whatsapp, but when i went back from settings to the homescreen, almost every app icon was transparent, but it has happen to me before, so i tried to turn it off and on again. when it was turning on, it was stuck on the apple logo for about 5 minutes, then it started rebooting itself for 5 hours until it died. it doesn't want to enter recover mode and i dont know what to do.

I updated my iPhone a few days ago and it was stuck boot looping, I then did everything in the video and after several attempts it all worked and said my iPhone was rebooted, then it started boot looping again so I left it for 15 mins like suggested but then it continued after 30mins so I tried holding down the power and volume down button a few times then it came up with the unlock screen and I tried to type in my pass code to unlock my phone but it was frozen and would not let me, I left it hoping it would unfreeze soon and then a loading circle on the black screen appeared for 5 mins then it went back to bootlooping and has been doing that ever since. I keep trying over and over again to reboot it again but it continues to bootloop.
Has anyone else had this issue or have any suggestions for me to fix it? :(

I am experiencing, the exact same problem when I try to enter in my passcode, like the moment you believe you can get yourself out of this- all hope just instantly deflates with that stupid black loading screen and then the whole boot looping shenanigans happens all over again :((( - I feel you its okay. All I can say to you is to believe you can save yourself and your phone! follow all of the steps you know of in that video and just to keep on trying. This was probably not helpful but the moment I stumbled upon this comment I can't help but feel a sigh of relief that I'm not alone in dealing with the same issues

*Don't even bother going to Apple store's genius bar. The staff over there will just do the same thing as this video using Itunes, eventually, they will say restoring the phone is the only way to solve it.
This video didn't really help me, but I would like to share another way that helped me to solve this problem without losing any data.
Background story: I was updating the iPhone SE to ios 13.3 from 10.3.3, my phone was working smoothly with ios 10, but I had to update because some apps don't support ios 10 anymore and it got stuck in the boot loop (my guess is the update is too big, that it crashed & caused the boot loop. IOS 10 was released in 2016-17)
I tried the update method from iTunes a few times and let the phone reboot itself, I was able to get to the unlock screen for a few times, but the screen is frozen up (can't even type my password) and the phone will turn black screen and goes back to the boot loop.
Solution: stop charging your phone, let the boot loop keeps on going and drained out the battery. After it went out of battery, wait for a while, charge it & turn it on again. You should be able to type the password & unlock the screen, it may take a few attempts, just play around with the run of battery method, you should be able to unlock your screen successfully.
Once you unlock the screen successfully, connect it to your pc, backup with iTunes or move all your photos to the pc. **Don't open any apps or do anything in your phone other than touching the screen or swiping left/right to keep the screen awake or else it will freeze, turn black screen & go back to the boot loop again. After backing up, go to the recovery mode (power+home button) and restore (erase all data) the iPhone. Load the backup into the freshly installed iPhone. The iPhone SE is working fine now with ios 13.3

Connect it to computer, hold the home and power button down until it shows the cable and computer icons on your phone. Then resume to update or restore. Works every time. Someone can take about two minutes. Don’t have to click all of the different buttons

@@matthezw8280 my phone is still in the same position but instead of getting it fixed I ended up getting a new phone since it was old and it was a present for my birthday. As for my data I made a whole new account and got my pictures from google photos and other things from the stuff I had in my Mac that was in the same account.
You can try booking an appointment for apple and see if they can get it back to normal but if not then you might have to restart it or get a new phone

Thank goodness for this video. I drive semi, was in the middle of updating to 13.1.1 on my 10hr reset and my iPhone XS Max just froze. After an hr still nothing the status bar was almost to the end. Hey I cannot restore a local backup into my iphone 11. I got the new iPhone 11 and used it for a couple of weeks as I needed it. I backed up my iPhone 7 a few weeks ago. Then came home and wanted to restore the iPhone 11 with the local backup and keeps giving me an error. Error reads: - iTunes could not restore "Diego's iPhone" because an error occurred" - I tried 3 times with the same result. Can you help me? Any ideas? I am starting to freak out. Thanks.

press and hold down the On/Off button on the top of your device for 3 seconds.
Press and hold down the Home button on the front of your device while still holding down the On/Off button.
Keep holding both buttons down for 10 seconds.
Let go of the On/Off Button but keep holding the Home button for about 5 seconds.
This only works for iPhone 6 or if the phone has a physical home button it should put the phone in recovery mode

Hey everyone so i'm running into this problem where if I plug it into a lightning cable attached to the wall it'll start the bootloop, but even after seemingly putting it into dfu mode (for iphone 6s it goes black when in dfu mode), unplugging it then plugging it into my laptop it won't respond whatsoever. Its unresponsive as soon as I disconnect it from the wall charger so does anyone have a fix for it or possibly a product that would allow one to have two sources of electrical input both from the usb plug(that would go into the laptop) and another that would go to an outlet? Battery problem maybe
Mine had smashed screen, new screen now boot loop, tried restore and it turns itself off and on halfway through, still in boot loop, I have 5 iPhones 5s, SE and 6s all with similar bootloop or stuck on apple logo screen, gonna try again using genuine apple lightning cable
XxWALHALAxX MOZZA mine was same when I tried to unlock the lock it enter the boot loop I was able to remove the lock from the phone and it work

Same so now this video is useless cause itunnes says I can't restore the phone because I LACK SPACE LOL WTF?! I am trying to delete data and it needs space to delete data?! What kind of shit is this!? I even tried Dr. Fone and ImyPhone and they both need me to be able to have space as well! Dr FONE downloaded the latest ios patch onto my PC but is charging $105.00 USD to continue with it's "FIX" which I know is going to result in Dr. Fone trying to apply the patch to my phone which is ultimately going to result in it saying the same shit about a lack of storage space!

I have an iPhone 6s Plus that is stuck in a bootloop and has been for a month, I think the reason for this is because the storage is full. I have tried connecting it to iTunes to update it but it’s not working cos my storage is so full and now it’s stuck in recovery mode. I tried using the fixxpo app to fix it but this also didn’t work and now I have no idea what to do. I don’t want to restore it cos my pictures from 2016 onwards are on it which I stupidly didn’t back up. Is there any other way I could fix it or any other way that I can retrieve my photos and stuff?
