Here’s the reason. When you love killing things. Killing things that are either all too eager to die too stupid to live or not very good at staying alive gets to be boring. So when you find something that’s none of those things, it generally has to be capable of killing other people, and willing to do so. But those people? Those people aren’t nearly so vicious as those who like to do it. That’s a special kind of animal. And when two of those animals meet one another, generally speaking, be thrill of the pleasure of ending something like yourself is overwhelming. Because your own self-awareness tells you what sort of monster you’re going to have to overcome. And overcoming it is a glorious feeling. That’s why the hound said “you’re just like me.” That was his self-awareness talking. And the final element to this is that, depending on where the wind has taken most of these people throughout their lives, they also tend to develop a sort of self loathing. And when they see themselves mirrored in something, their first instinct is to destroy it.

We out numbered them but still they were looking for a fight. Luckily i knew the hardest out of them n he controlled the others. We had done absolutely nothing to them. They just wanted to fight. They had trained all week as they're all boxers. All 35/40. Pathetic really. Cocaine and alcohol.
One is killing because he likes to live and to survive despite the odds, the other one is killing because he likes to watch the people die. They are not the same.
The Hound grew to despise himself because of his awfully painful life and chose to give his life just to remove the evil that was his fabricated "Zombie" murderer brother.Redemption is found only in and through Christ's finished works and everlasting righteousness not simply through the sacrifice of a flawed human being like Sandor
By this time of the story Sandor was a Kingsguard. Pretty hilarious when you think about how throughout the story Bronn had beef with so many of them and none of them were alive by the end of the series.
The hound was wrong here. He loved killing because it was the only thing he was good at (and the only way he got respect). Bronn had zero issue killing anyone, but it wasn't something he enjoyed. If he could retire with a beautiful woman (or two), in a big caste with a glass of wine in his hand, he'd happily do so.

I honestly don't know who I think would win in a fight against bronn and the hound ..
I believe they would kill each other
Hound. But it’d be a great fight
Apparently, Brienne.
And, apparently, i was the only disgusted by that outcome. Bronn vs. Hound is a tough call. Maybe like Mountain vs. Snake
I would have paid good money to see that fight. Seriously the matchup I always wanted.
For those confused by the hounds actions here. I was out Saturday night with friends. I bumped into a well known hard man and his friends. We out numbered them but still they were looking for a fight. Luckily i knew the hardest out of them n he controlled the others. We had done absolutely nothing to them. They just wanted to fight. They had trained all week as they're all boxers. All 35/40. Pathetic really. Cocaine and alcohol.
@Mik-qw7fb shhaaaup bell end
One is killing because he likes to live and to survive despite the odds, the other one is killing because he likes to watch the people die. They are not the same.
I was genuinely worried for bronn even though he has skill but sandor clegane had that undertaker dead man aura about him
Bronn "Chill out bro your scaring the bitches"
This plot line didn't just go no where, it jumped off the pages and left the writers room back to George.
Who wins that? Absolute savagery versus cold vicious certainty? Both killers, both experts. I'm glad the show left it to us to decide.
The Hound's hair is parted on the wrong side.
These clips are often mirrored, tricks unsophisticated copyright bots
That’s pretty major!
If this fight lasts a second, then Bronn wins. If it lasts a minute, then the Hound wins
Why has the hounds scars changed sides in this clip?
They didn't?
I think it's been mirrored so as not to set off the copywrite bots

"I'm sure he will ...someday"
Hound was my favourite character in the show.
The fight we needed
The Hound grew to despise himself because of his awfully painful life and chose to give his life just to remove the evil that was his fabricated "Zombie" murderer brother.Redemption is found only in and through Christ's finished works and everlasting righteousness not simply through the sacrifice of a flawed human being like Sandor
Somehow you managed to bring your fictional god into game of thrones. Theres no christ in GoT or reality. News flash.
My money was on Bronn. He was calmer. He wasn't barking as loudly. He doesn't risk his life without measuring the risk itself.
Exactly Scotland vs England 🤣
Ha! I didn’t think about that!
😂❤
The Hound would kill him easily
One fight I'd like to have seen played out... But, you'd hate for either of their stories to be over ...
Bronn is one of the most faster killer in the moovie
Bronn was good and no coward but let's all be real...... The Hound would of easily killed him 💯👌🏼
Easy? Nah. Wouldn't have put money on Bronn, but Hound won't be walking away unscathed either.
It wouldn’t be easy, but hound would win tho. He too big and fast but bronn still has a lot of skill
Honestly, THIS is the fight I would've paid good money to see.
These two a fucking mental went from going to kill each other
To having a drink together
To bronn saving Sandor during them fighting together
By this time of the story Sandor was a Kingsguard. Pretty hilarious when you think about how throughout the story Bronn had beef with so many of them and none of them were alive by the end of the series.
I recall the Hound saying to Joffrey that he "won't take no Knight's oath". I forgot if he ever took an oath?
Bronn isn't a bitch but he's walking into certain death against the Hound.
Only smaller... Badasss !
Bronn was absolutely ready to throw down with the Hound
I'd want both of these men as my personal bodyguards if I was to wander medieval times.
Any scene with these guys in was great
Lawful evil meets the chaotic neutral
The hound was wrong here. He loved killing because it was the only thing he was good at (and the only way he got respect). Bronn had zero issue killing anyone, but it wasn't something he enjoyed. If he could retire with a beautiful woman (or two), in a big caste with a glass of wine in his hand, he'd happily do so.
The Hound felt like Bronn was getting the Big head... He had to Humble him a little and let him know im not Meran Trant 😂😂
Amazing scene between two cold blooded killers. Something we never see between them too.
