I just want to ask why there are items called "illegal" in a server with no rules. Wouldn't those items just be normal?
The only explanation I can think of is that 2b2t is anarchy for everyone, including the admin, who can then do whatever he wants, including making items illegal.
And because it's anarchy and he has the power to, he can impose his will on everyone else without "breaking" the anarchy.
'Illegal Iteams' are used for item's that shouldn't, by normal minecraft standards, be able to obtain.
Bedrock or End frame aren't things you'd get normaly. Kinda like the 32k item's. They're not things you'd able to get normaly.

I believe the portal trap was a way of trapping people depending on the way they entered/left, if you stood somewhere else within the portal there's a chance of you teleporting somewhere else

I play bedrock but have been having a great time learning more about 2b2t. I appreciate you telling the story and such, please continue. My respect.
One thing I will say tho: i am terribly amused when java players see a trident. XD hehe. 5mins on bedrock and I have 10 tridents of which I will prolly all throw away. My boyfriend that got me into minecraft actually played java for years and converted to bedrock because I’m on the playstation and have no choice. Anyway, rambling. Just wanted to tell you that even if I personally don’t play, I value your work and the details and stories you tell. Cheers and respect my dude.

i remember the day this video came out like it was only a few hours ago. I fist joined the server about two days before you made your video on it, and it was sort of peaceful - for an anarchy server that is. I didn't play for about a week after that, since i had school to think about, and the saturday i rejoined, it was chaos. quadruple the player count, veterans camping spawn with kill aura, spammed chat, obstacles set up to stop new players. I did manage to escape thanks to nether highways, and i stole someone's base in a snowy biome, which was fun. Anyways, you singlehandedly brought the bedrock 2b2t to it's 2b2knees and they are probably still salty today

2b2t clones and anarchy servers inspired by them can be... interesting, to say the least. I'm in a Java edition knockoff that allows cracked minecraft, which I use, as well as somehow allowing stuff like XRAY mods (I can't use hacks with cracked, so I just use XRAY) and the economy on the server is insane, considering I was able to trade bricks and glass panes for pvp kits, and I found a particularly insane stash near my original base in the server before it became a crater that had stacked shulkers with kits and gapples, not to mention End Portal Frames and Barrier Blocks with Sharpness 1 (Lost the barrier blocks with my base)
It's insane how much gear you can get, I've got tons of backup gear in my echest
You should give it another try, I went 100k blocks out and it looked like 2b2t’s spawn for miles, the spawn is also waaayyy different now, lava casts forever and random highways everywhere

Some bedrock hacks are basically like having creative mode, you can give yourself any kind of block, sometimes also blocks that don't even exist anymore
It’s called horion beta it’s free and there is a paid version but you can do .give
Well also In bedrock prior to the nether update there was a glitch way to get bedrock in the end using snow and the way the end portal that is in the end regenerates the bedrock but I believe it’s patched now

Unfortunately that wouldn't work on MP server like this because it first required you to be an OP on the server. But it was a great way to get some achievements.
These bedrock anarchy servers do have a form of anticheat, exploits are usually needed in combination with hacks to hack things in. This specific server tho was just admin abused and isn't even anarchy.

I've never had any bugs like that playing Bedrock, in fact, for me it is the more stable version of the game. Java is such an in-efficient language to write a game like Minecraft as it is now. The only thing Bedrock really lacks is the flexibility of Redstone that Java has, and the flexibility of Java itself, which makes the game easily hackable.
I wish mojang mix the far away bugs
I wouldn't say Java's 'inefficient', I think it's just that Mojang's never made an update _specifically_ for optimization, so the current-game's performance is admittedly lackluster. There's mods out there that can easily double framerates over vanilla, and greatly increase server performance (Not Optifine though, it's on a similar level of bloat at this point, so it's improvements aren't as impressive).
@@invalid_user_handle Java is a language that is not meant for graphics. While it is possible, it implements the work to the CPU rather than the GPU. It was the main reason a lot of people ended up playing Bedrock, because as new version of Java Minecraft were released, it's reliability on the CPU was increased. It got to a point where the game wouldn't run unless you had the newest hardware. This forced people to play Bedrock, which could run on a potato. It wasn't until a couple of years ago, that's Mojang implemented a much better way to pass the graphics to the GPU from the CPU more efficiently, taking away it's reliance on the CPU to do everything. Even then it took Sodium, a 3rd party mod, to fix the game completely.

I got banned from an anarchy server for hacking one time. Everyone else hacked on there, but I got banned for it.
Also, before I got banned, I said if I got banned I'm ending the server.
The next day, nobody was able to join until it got reset (which happened about once a month).

in bedrock edition pvp is different becaues there is more vertical knockback and you can still sprint if you are hitting someone

Anarchy doesn't mean no administration. On 2b2t, the anarchy applies to Housemaster too, meaning he can do whatever he wants to make the server better in his opinion

Hackers in bedrock edition anarchy servers are kinda funny, some of them use "horion" Wich is a hacker client and what they do with it is crazy, they can change there text font, Bob around in the air and grief EVERYTHING

Honestly the only reason i play on that server as well as 2b2t is cuz of the fact that in bedrock you can just be like ah yes portal,water and lava blocks shall be created and the fact that you can just make end portal block highways, I even remember a base made from floating lava and portals
