Everytime i watch your phillipines market vlog i just realised how similar India and phillipines markets are. In india we have similar fruit and vegetables stalls and markets . The two different countries are so similar this way.
I WONDER how The dynamic between Benji and Auntie Mel is like. NEVER really seen Mel ON Camera with Benji ❤❤❤ She's def the best best auntie, nanny❤️❤️❤️
In Mexico we have stores just like that! We call them Tianguis! It’s crazy to see how similar Mexico and the Philippines are. Even some words are similar! It takes me back to grocery shopping with my familia♥️
It’s tiangge in the PH! other provinces use that word to call small stores, like the ones that are in front of people’s homes or as we call it, sari sari store.
Thank you Benji for showing us different varieties of food and what else is out there that we normally don’t see at our local markets. You’ve inspired me to be more health conscious and fixate into a more healthy lifestyle. I appreciate your vlogs and content! Amazing work
i hope the girls got a chance to ride the jeeps and trikes now that they’re older, it must have been really interesting for them to see palengkes here since it’s very diff from markets in the US.
7:21 Both Benji and Mikey are buff! I love how I can learn so much about heathy things from both guys. I love Mikey’s overnight oats. I added goji berries to mine and it’s a game changer! I look forward to the fruit tasting video!!!1
Hello Benji 👍 loved this you and Mikey loved that shopping. It was so lovely to see diff fruit and veg there meat etc. Thankyou for sharing i loved it 👍👍👍
Hi Benji,I'm glad that your kid enjoyed exploring the"palengke"market together with Tito Mikey and RJ.Wow!a lot of different fruits,Mango in the Phil.is one of best, even the coconut juice is sweet also, can't wait to see that your kids taste all the fruits when you reach home.I love Mikey and RJ that they accompany and gives some details or information regarding what your kids saw while they're were outside, esp.in that market.A new adventure or revenue to learn something for them.❤❤❤
Benji, I've been watching you guys since 2012, and as much as I love watching Judy's channel, I really enjoy watching your shopping and cooking videos too! It's really nice to see you shopping and teaching us what kind of things to buy! BTW so jealous of all the tropical fruits right now! They r so expensive in the states...definitely going out of state for the tropical fruits one day! ❤
You guys should visit Davao City next time you come to the Philippines! I find that they have more selections of fruit compared to other parts of the country
I believe the coconut water was used as an IV for hydrating your system. Not sure. Loved the different fruits. Went to Seafood City and got Dragon Fruit for my mom. I had no idea it was $8.99/lb until the cashier rung it up. $11.51. Seeing the price comparison there to Hawaii, unreal. Open market or Chinatown may be cheaper. Chinatown was packed today due to the Chinese New Year festivities.
I love fresh jackfruit!! They say it taste like juicy fruit the really ripe ones do. You can actually eat every part of the banana tree, the flower, and the inside of the trunk. Use the leaves as plates. That's what indian culture does. It's also an Asian country so lots of similarities😊
I believe hospitality and generosity need to be reciprocated as a basic courtesy. I hope Benji offered to at least pay for the food they wanted to try as a reciprocation to the gracious hosting of their huge (+extended) family. Bless Rj and Mikey’s hearts, may they be blessed ten fold! 💕😊 I miss the Philippines, I hope the entire family had a meaningful visit. 🤍
I agree Benji....MIKEY!!! You're looking so SHEXXY BAABEY with your ripped muscles!!! Whistle Whistle🥰😍😘and RJ is just the absolute handsome reserved gentleman Hopefully one of these days I will run into you guys at one of the airports somewhere hahahaha - oh I wish!!💞👍 Enjoy your time in the Philippines Travis girls with tito Mikey and tito RJ.. 👨❤👨👩👩👧👧
Benji the coconut water thing was used in lieu of IVs not blood transfusions, also it's clearly not recommended, and was only used in dire circumstances. Coconut water doesn't have enough salts to be an adequate IV replacement. Stick to drinking Coconut water for oral hydration and as with everything, in moderation
Benji before you guys start building your home Please invite Tito Mikey and RJ to come and give you ideas. You have enough land you could have a 2k sq ft gym alone .
Haha! This was so much fun! Let's do another palangke run soon! ❤️🙏🙌🇵🇭
I miss the palengke! Always a must place to go. Super fresh fruits and veggiea and delivered fresh every day!!!
3:07 is the money shot for me... Lumpia!!
Lumpia is my favorite food hands down. If you don't like Lumpia, we cannot be friends.
Great Video.

i hope the girls got a chance to ride the jeeps and trikes now that they’re older, it must have been really interesting for them to see palengkes here since it’s very diff from markets in the US.

Philippines has Sagada oranges, strawberries from Baguio, we also have grapes from La Union
As a Pakistani, we eat bitter gourd often, its called Karela. Sautee with some onions and tomatoes, along with the usual spices, and its amazing!

I've heard about coconut water as replacement to IV fluids in WWII. It's something about the electrolytes in coconut water.
I would love to see you eat durian. You’ve probably had it many times, but RUclips needs that content 😂.
Waiting for the fruit vlog❤❤❤ 🎉🎉

You need to watch Judy and Mikey's vlogs where they went to S&R and Benji cooked a feast for them a couple of times.
That's what makes the Filipino culture about giving unconditionally!
Mikey mention they’ve been equally hospitable and generous in the past 😉
what’s the point of hosting if you gonna let your guests pay??
Bitter gourd is good for diabetic. It lower your blood sugar. I eat it all the time to lower my blood sugar.
So lucky! I really love fruits and veggies. I’m really focusing on incorporating them in my diet for 2024
hey benji! try going in Mitsukoshi when you visit BGC! :) its like a japanese mall with grocery and fastfood resto :)
Cassava is really good. It taste like a potato, but better. You can put it in stews or eat it by itself. 😋

You need to try Indian mangoes, alphonso and kesar variety
