  • In order for any team to compete and make it into the playoffs, you need a franchise quarterback. The Chargers knew they achieved this accomplishment when they drafted 2020’s Rose Bowl MVP, Justin Herbert.
On episode eight of ALL IN Season 2, The Ultimate Competitor, you get to watch the journey of a rookie quarterback from the University of Oregon transform himself into a household name. Throughout this episode, watch Herbert deal with injuries, both him and his teammates, and the resilience it takes to strategically make completions against defenses that are just as hungry for the playoffs. Even through it all, Herbert still can’t be broken.

this dude really is damn near the second coming of Christ and came to save this franchise. I think I speak for a lot of fans who have felt alienated from the team over the last 10-12 years. from years of wasted talent, to showing so much promise but constantly falling way short, to missing the playoffs year after year, to moving out of San Diego and heading up north to LA. it kinda felt like the fanbase just disintegrated after that, it didn’t feel like there were many of us left. as a San Diego native, my dad literally threw away all of his SD Chargers gear because he felt that disconnected from the team. and watching football isn’t fun when your team sucks. Herbert really came in and changed that damn near overnight, who would’ve ever thought Tyrod Taylor’s pierced lung would’ve been this blessing in disguise. He made me proud to be a Charger fan again, and gives me hope that this team will do something special whether it be this year or later down the line. Historically, the Chargers don’t have any place in LA outside of 1 year in the AFL over 60 years ago - it’s a Raider and Rams town. but it’s nice to see the fans slowly but surely growing back in numbers. thank you Justin Herbert for sparking that change ⚡️⬆️

I am a Chargers fan because of Philip Rivers, he was MY GUY period. First plays at NCSU I was in awe over his talent and knew I'd follow him through his career. I never even thought about what if he fails or what happens when he retired. As the end of that era came closer I questioned if I would have the same love for the team as I did with Rivers behind center, that maybe I would just drift into that casual fan abyss not really enjoying the game as much without my guy throwing the ball...
I was wrong... completely wrong. Herbert is the dude and I've continued to be fully invested in the team, possibly more so. I'm thrilled to have 10 to cheer on and hope he has a nice long career in the Powder Blue. He brings that spark to keep things going because with that guy throwing the ball there isn't a game they can't win. The sky is the limit with his talent.

I love our QB. Just him being on the field, excites me to watch Charger football. We truly have a special one in our squad. Keep protecting him, keep building around him, and he will lead us on some big playoff runs. HERBO!!! BTFU!!!⚡⚡⚡

Justin Herbert, 1-2 reliable receivers and a defence is all you need to win with this kid. We have a lot more than that when fully healthy

Justin Herbert is the reason L.A. is turning from a Ram’s town to a Charger’s town. SoFi stadium isn’t the Ram’s house, anymore. It’s become Justin Herbert’s house.

Mike Tirico said it best at the end of the video, Herbert leads by example but it's visible how much of a vocal leader he's evolving into. Glad to have him as our QB. Let's go on a run!

Being from Oregon and a duck fan I had the great honor to watch him play almost every game while at O . Herbert is a extremely awesome human not to mention his skills . He is another Marcus M. But better.
