I got a second and a third opinion. There was descrepancy on staging of disease and even on treatment. The third oncologist offered hope and was very sure of himself....I am under his care still.

I am unable to locate the continuation of this story. My Dad is on his third and apparently last line of defense for Stage 4 Squamous NSCLC w/ MET Amplification. I’m wondering what treatment Amy and her doctors attribute her success to?

@@dorisjoseph8269. I have stage 4 non small cell lung cancer Adenocarcinoma. How come we don’t get pain meds , how come the doctor hasn’t told us how fast it grows how long it takes to metastasized to the other organs what size are the masses are pretty much anything through acting like Keytruda , it’s going to curate how come they won’t tell us how long we have to live and be honest with us how come, I see people on the Internet over and over again every day saying how much pain that they are going through and how much they’re suffering and no pain medicines are given how come cancer patients are being abused that’s my question

I've been recently diagnosed with non-smal cell lung cancer. Surgery is the first treatment that is recommended. I will do that. I have been invited to join a clinical trial and I'm very excited about it. I would always jump at the chance to join a clinical trial as I feel that clinical trials offer the latest and most advanced treatment

You are fortunate - here in the US our health care costs are the highest in the world yet our care is rated 18. Many lose their home & retirement to pay for treatments. It’s shameful

I think the combination of inhaled hydrogen ( metabolic dysfunction) and negative ion generators/ ultrasonic misters , for getto hydroxide generators ( nk cells stimulation ) has limitless potential. Lung cancer is probably the easiest dance .

Like Amy I am also suspicious of the cov'd vaccine since after I got the shot I came down with shingles and two weeks after I got over shingles, this lymph node on my neck swelled up. No other symptoms. It's so strange because I am in excellent physical health. I run every day, bike ride, lift weights, do pull ups, push ups and sit-ups daily. At a good lean weight like always 6' 135 pounds-- a real runners build and I feel great. Haven't gained or lost weight. For being 66 years old I feel in such good health and I eat such a healthy diet-- no fried foods, no dairy, no egg yolk, no processed food and mostly vegetarian.

Simply my thoughts on what happened and perhaps why. If you've ever had chicken pox ( you can have them as a child and there be little to no pox marks) the virus lives in the fluid around your spinal cord.
When your immune system is challenged in some way, you can have a recurrence. Since your body is learning the virus to be able to recognize the C shot, you're body is very mildly busy, and it can allow shingles to keep right up.
      Not medical advice!

I’m really frustrated that they told you over the phone knowing that you were driving. Imo any staging discussions should be handled in person, whether they are good or bad
