A dream of mine is to live in a small town in the middle of nowhere. Everyone gets on well. Money is gold coins. In the middle of a forest with enchanted looking water & trees. Where everyone is at ease and believe in myths and creatures. Where everyone can live at peace with nature & animals. A safe place :)

I consider it a blessing that this song is on repeat because its perfect for when im zoning out while working on a project.
I use it when irritated by the menfolk of my household
i loved irish music when i was in Ireland. people of Ireland, do not lose your native language!
Unfortunately, the native language of nearly all Irishmen & Irishwomen, boys & girls, is English.
On the plus side, the English of educated Dubliners is considered by many experts to be the purest spoken English in the world - Shaw, Joyce, Yeats, Wilde, Swift, etc. had to pick it up somewhere!
@@1952jodianne it should be brought back as our first language why it hasn’t been done yet I will never know
As the ideal, you are 100% correct. As a practical matter, this will be very difficult. Since English is pretty much the globe's current "Lingua Franca", it's gratifying that the Irish have long been masters of both written & spoken English. We have taken this curse & made it a blessing.@@seanmcdonnell3649

Don’t forget the great Irish authors 🇮🇪💫
I am part Irish, Cherokee and English, and I love the Irish music!!
So are my kids. I don't have the Cherokee part😊
I’m Irish, French, and Dominican(🇩🇲), and I love the music of all three!
It’s simple, being attracted to Irish music means you have good taste!
My spiritual teacher taught me that the irish music has much the energy or quality of green in it because the nature of Ireland is full of this beautiful green, that is why it's also called the green emerald isle. Natural folk music translates the energy that nature radiates out into music. That's why in different places of the earth the traditional folk music sounds different, because it reflects the frequencies or energies that the earth and its nature radiates out in certain places. Green is associated with child, being young, not yet adult, not yet determined, not yet fixed, also fluent, to be in the flow, fresh, new, innocent, newborn. The frequency correlates also with the speed: fast. You can hear these things when you listen to irish folk music. The melodies are always fresh, they vary a lot and naturally so. They don't repeat themselves it seems and you somehow can't find a beginning, a middle part and an end. It's like a flowing brook. And so is the irish dance that belongs to it in the flow and playful and you get easily into the flow when you hop on the frequency and let go. On the contrary blues music usually has a very simple frame and this gets repeated over and over again. It's a kind of static or magnetic and little dynamic. That's why it expresses best sadness or depression. To be blue or to feel blue is also another word for sadness or depression. The frequency of green however is quite the opposite of a slow blues. It's faster and the melody varies a lot and has this "to be in the flow feel" to it. Why many people are attracted to this frequency that is heard in irish folk music so purely is because our spirit (that is what we are; were not our body neither are we our soul. We're our spirit) has also the frequency of green. That's why we seek for happiness especially when we experienced it but lost it. It is the nature of our spirit, of this essence that we are that we hate boredom. It's completely unnatural for us and also loneliness which is associated with boredom. The opposite of boredom is short time and this is achieved through variation. That's why nature is full of millions of different plants and animals, that's why every human looks different and is totally unique. Repetition is related to boredom. That's why everyday work is related to the colour grey (in sayings). We say grey everyday life. Especially when we're stuck in everyday living we're long for this frequency of green that has a connection to our inner child ( the child that we once were that will forever live inside of us as part of what we are that is inseparable connected to the adult self that we are. To be child should be (when a person had a childhood with freedom and protection through some adult ideally from father and mother) connected with freedom of thinking, mischievousness, joy, happiness, feeling safe and protected and the feeling of innocence. So I gave you some hints why from a spiritual standpoint many of us feel attracted to irish folk music, because it has this green frequency in it that is connected to our inner child, to our spirit, which is our true self and connects us to innocence, joy, freedom, michievousness with other words it connects us to inner peace. And I agree what someone here said that the purity of whatever is in the irish nature has something to do with fairies that live there but that is too spiritual for most.
100% my friend. It's amazing to see that the old and ancient wisdom of traditional culture has not been lost
Huh
wow thats really interesting, thank you!

From Vietnam and Irish music always sounds so festive and alive! It’s like you’re constantly running, but everything feels familiar like your about the town or a large prairie. It adds adventure, but also nostalgia, you can’t help, but want to dance!

But then I looked into my heritage with my grandpa and found out that not only am I of German and Native American decent I’m also of Irish decent. According to what I have looked up my last name “Henley” originally came from Ireland supposedly.
