I’ve changed the driver’s side controller 3 times. Now again the both driver and passenger side windows will not open or close. Passenger side switch doesn’t work either. Locks and side mirrors no problem. What’s up.
So I have a 2009 liberty limited and I can operate all the windows from the driver side but nine of them are working from each door..I put the master window lock switch in and off and it makes no difference..still can only open and close the window from the driver door controls..all the windows go up and down so it can’t be the motors and it can’t be all three window switches on each door..so the master window lock must be no good! There isn’t a fuse just for that one master window switch correct??
Hello. I plugged in the new master control panel on the driver side. But I now have no control over the front windows and cannot lock the car. I will admit when I plugged in the new master class from switch, I noticed it is slightly different and it has different number of plug in pins underneath. Now the old one / and new one do not supply power to the front windows or locks. Do you think I blew a fuse?
What’s should you do if the doors will unlock, but won’t lock? I have a 2010 Jeep Liberty and the doors unlock remotely and from the door module. It will NOT lock remotely or from the door module.
So I have a 2012 liberty. Just recently, the power locks don't unlock the passenger door or the back doors. The only door that works is the driver side. The strange thing is that the windows all work. Also, while this went out, my trunk doesn't unlock, but the glass opens. Tried troubleshooting. Checked all the above fuses and restarted the battery. It's still not working. Any suggestions ?
Do you happen to have a video explaining the relays? I have a 2011 and the headlights are stuck on even when the vehicle is off and drains the battery, my brights do not work and I also do not have any power locks
My jeep liberty 2009. Passenger side door doesn't lock with key or any button have to lock or unlock it manually. Rest all doors work automatically. machine was checked and it is fine. Can you tell me if it a fuse fault.
I have a 2009 dodge nitro but when we replace the door lock fuse it burns the fuse immediately ☹️ any ideas on how to help so we can get our locks working?
I have a 2008 Jeep Liberty. The Master switch on the driver side opens the driver window and the front passenger window but will not open the rear passenger windows. The front passenger and rear passenger window switches do not work at all. The only windows I can control are the driver and front passenger windows from the master switch. Not sure if it's an issue with the fuses, or perhaps the wires. Looking to get some troubleshooting tips before spending money replacing all 4 switches or taking the door panels apart to replace the window motors. Please help :)
Hey I got a 2010 jeep liberty and the drivers and front passengers switch doesn't work from the drivers side. I can use the front passenger from its own door but not from the drivers side. Both rear window switches work from their own door and from the main drivers switch. And the power lock doesn't work at all from front driver or passenger side. I changed the main drivers switch and the left control module but nothing changes and all fuses are good from what i see
I removed the door panel and found a control module that has 8 spots but only 2 through 5 are in use and numbers 3 and 4 seem to have a bit of corrosion on it. Do they have anything to do with my problem?
@@davejames2015 no, I saw something about changing the whole fuse box under the hood, but I've yet to. Gave the car to my sister hopefully she buys the new fuse box and we can determine if that's it. I'll try get a link to a new one and you may be able to tell me
My issue is the lock button doesn’t work on ether door driver/passenger or the key but the unlock button works on all. When I press the lock it only sets the alarm and doesn’t lock the doors. everything else works as it should. Anyone have any ideas?
Best explanation I've found on RUclips; clear, concise, to the point. Thank you for sharing your knowledge & skills 🙏

On my 2009 liberty none of the doors lock or unlock, is that the 25amp fuse that would control that? Also what is it labeled on the fuse box diagram?

what wire do I test to see if I am getting power to the driver side switch?

Its likely that the master switch itself is bad.
