I'm from south Jersey and agree completely. Cheesesteak places are ubiquitous from Philadelphia to the coast. In fact, Atlantic city has great cheesesteaks. I lived in Philadelphia for even longer. If there was a rule about them, I'd say family run operations tend to be the best. What you need to try that is unique to South Jersey is called the 'Panzerotti'.
You will never be able to appreciate American food if you can't open your mind to the IDEA of food being different. The fact the US is big enough for food to be regional even is one state is telling. The South takes the crown. Yall gotta come try.
Yeah, them's fighting words. Been a while, so may have to get buddy to make list of newer locations & visit area for taste test. Regardless, I love Daz's frequent mention of his love of cheesesteaks 😄
I'm surprised you found Stubbs in the UK, it is good. I just figured you brits dumped ketchup on everything. And Daz claiming the best ribs he ever had were at a Chinese resteraunt is hilarious. I would have kept that to myself, you know how ridiculous that sounded. 😂😂😂
A lot of Chinese restaurants have really good ribs. So just imagine in the UK where the stereotype is that so much food is bland AF. A Chinese restaurant might seem like Godly ribs
If you ever go to Orlando, Florida, visit medieval times dinner and tournament. It’s a dinner adventure featuring live jousting in a big arena while you sit down and eat. It’s about two hours. You sit in a colored section and you have a knight that represents your section and you cheer for your knight. If you go to California, specifically buena Park, there is also a medieval times there and next-door to it is the Pirates dinner show. This time it is swashbuckling pirates putting on a show. What I liked about it is audience participation. At the beginning, they ask kids from the audience to participate in the show. So throughout the show, they will call the different kids to be part of the show. It’s very lively and colorful and I am sure the kids had a blast
Darren was it Stubbs BBQ sauce, I have had that before. I know Darren is getting old, but he did have those ribs at that restaurant in Alabama, the place with the white BBQ sauce.
There are really 4 kinds of bbq in the USA. Memphis, Texas, North Carolina, and Kansas City style. Every other state is a fraud or just a budget version of those 4.
I grew up twisting spaghetti on a fork the normal way so I can't exactly condone spaghetti on toast, but having it with buttered/toasted bread like italian bread or garlic bread as a side is fine. I don't think I've even ever heard of that and I'm American.
Their sauce is very tomato based. It's sweet. In my opinion, they've ordered with too much sauce on things. Always order without sauce and add what you want. Except for the glazed ribs, obviously.

Memphis ribs are the best pork ribs in the world. The BBQ Shop is my favorite place in Memphis. It's the top. The spaghetti is questionable. You'll either love it, or you will hate it.
Too much is decided by a person's taste buds. As long as it's not trying to impersonate authentic Italian food BBQ spaghetti is great. To some the cheese in a carbonara or pepper in a cacio e pepe is "too much". America is the land of variety in good quality and bad :-P. It builds a discerning and discriminate palate that isn't boxed in by the "old world" rigidity and fussy sophistication.
@@officeblokedaz It's a indoor market with shops and food and restaurants. I think most north eastern cities have these kinds of marketplaces, just went to a similar one in Boston called Boston Public Market a few weeks ago, next to Faneuil Hall.
i don't know what happened...but when i ate their ribs, it was nothing like this. they were incredibly average. not juicy. def did not slide off the bone. i literally had trouble tearing them apart. i don't know if they were sitting out or what but it was such a bummer.
Jolly could eat out of a dumpster and they'd fawn over how a half eaten burger tastes so much better with the diaper juice dripped all over it. They just play the same game everywhere to get likes on the videos
I hate to break it to you but all of these channels of people from other countries visiting the US and praising all of the food is a grift. They know there’s a not so insignificant amount of Americans that are naive and hilariously over patriotic so they feed them the slop they crave. 🤷🏻

Aiden being from a nation that puts wet beans on toast not understanding spaghetti on bread is hilarious 😅
I guess Aiden has never heard of garlic bread before. That spaghetti looked so good.
😭😭😭😭
Aiden, yall put beans on toast, and you questioning Spaghetti on bread? LOL
Spaghetti on bread America’s version of beans on toast. 😂😊
its not good lol, better to use the bread to wipe up excess marinara, or better yet serve some on the side for dipping.
They also eat French fry sandwiches ( butty)
DAZ BEEF RIBS ARE AWESOME different but when cooked properly very tasty . ❤

I don’t think Daz has ever had beef ribs and Aiden doesn’t have garlic bread with spaghetti
Daz, I think you’re thinking of Stubb’s bbq sauce. I also like it.
Stubbs is Awesome!👍👍
Pork ribs are usually much better, but a beef rib done right is amazing

We did the Florida one in 2005!
In the US, a lot of people eat tosted garlic bread with their spaghetti.
Liberty cafe in NJ (looks out towards the statue of liberty) has excellent cheesesteaks.

Didn't you guys go to Tennessee last year? Why didn't you try the barbecue?
If you're near Hoboken when you get to NJ, you need to check out Fiore's House of Quality!
Daz if you’re gonna be in the area soon you should head over to Defontes in Red Hook. Great Italian American sandwiches
It's the restaurant's own "Dancing Pigs Sauce". Available on line.
I go there every time I visit family in Memphis
BBQ Spag is great, I have made it, mind you not like Vernon did and I am sure not as good.

Barbecue Spaghetti is great.
If you go to Philly, do NOT go to Pat's or Geno's for cheese steaks. They're tourist traps.
For a legit steak, try a place called John's Roast Pork.

Spaghetti on bread is the American version of beans on toast.
I'm not from England and I question the idea of putting spaghetti on bread. Never seen that move
Why am I sitting here starving looking at this video ughh such torture. Only thing I have is an Applebees up the street from me lol
Those beans they’re eating are Baked Beans
American beans are not prepared at all like the ones that England eats. Check the actual ingredients on ours and you will see the difference.
