Great video Angus! Really cool take on parkour eye. Oh and nice work in landing the moves after so many attempts. Very impressive bro; especially with the flip at the end 😎👊🏾.

I actually just did a YT search for pk eyes hoping that someone had made a video about this. Thank you! Lovely Lovely Lovely. Of course, other freestyle sports like rock climbing and skateboarding help develop a special type of vision but parkour vision can apply to a wayy larger variety of locations. Like,, pretty much anywhere can be used for PK. I do think there are other ways in which parkour is unique. One other facet of parkour that sets it apart from other sports is the athletes relationship with fear. I can't think of another sport that has fear and risk-assessment so intimately incorporated into the practice. That would be a cool video topic if you haven't already done it.

Hi Egon, thanks so much for the comment. It's such a powerful thing seeing challenge and movement opportunities all around us for parkour!
I'd love to make a video about fear, I've had a few ideas planned but have had to take a long break recently through injury and lost a lot of confidence, maybe that's the best place to start for a new video!

i came into pk already having some decent photography skills so it didnt really change my perception of environments. it did however make me get really excited about things that otherwise just looked normal/boring before pk became part of my life. there arent a lot of good places for training around me, just a few spots here and there that have one or two obstacles that i could use for training. most over in eu would call them "non spots" lol.

That shift of 'a grim alleyway' to 'giddy excited feeling new spot'' is just sooo fulfilling in parkour. Hahaha that's amazing, I hope they provide enough challenges for you!
