Glad you posted this. This channel isn't just for the lucky ones who can afford to travel, it's escapism for the majority of us who wouldn't see the beautiful places in the world without your videos! I love armchair travelling. It helps me through the dark, gloomy winter days in the UK 🇬🇧 I probably won't ever be able to visit a fraction of the places you show but by watching the videos, I feel like I'm there. Uplifting, makes the long, dark days easier. Anyone else questioning you, show them this comment! Big up yourself for your humble, lovely persona
Dude, the sunset footage at the end of the video looked unbelievable! Stunning! If someone told me it was generated by A.I. I would believe them, wow! That alone is worth the trip
Howdy John, I'm not sure yet but it's possible. Might be a little more than a week though. I need to check flights soon, so it will depend on what I find. Are you headed this way?
Looks like the place I stayed at on Koh Samui back in 1994 for $4.00 a nite. Not sure if they even have those types of bungalows on Samui anymore. I was told by a fellow traveler back in 1993 to get to Samui before they improved the little airport & the jet planes start flying in. He was so right!!!!
In August was in Chumphon for 4 nights at Thunguwalaen (running bull) Beach & stayed at Nana Beach Resort (3+ star. & absolutely nothing to do with the infamous Nana in BKK 😜) ....very nice location across the street from the Beach & there were the usual family run local business on the Beach... restaurants, etc > even a local coffee guy who converted a 1st Gen VW Bus into a mobile coffee shop... "Volks Coffee" > he drove up each am around 6:30 & was there til about 10a > fantastic lite bite homemade offerings in addition to the variety of blended coffee fare > will definitely return
Wowww what a Beautiful 😍 Nature and Beach Island There in Ko Payham Thailand, thank u so much sir Gabe for your wonderful walk around tour video and Thailand Series Adventure Godbless 😍👏👏♥️🙏👍❤️🙂 From your solid fan supporter viewer from the Philippines 🇵🇭🙏🙂😊
I believe so, Khao Sok National Park and the Similan islands come to mind. I haven't been to either but I'm assuming they're restricted from being developed.
Change will always happen. It does seem harder to get to which will keep some away. Others have remarked it looks like Samui in the 90s.. I'm a bit younger and think it looks like Lanta in the 00s.
Question.. Most times wen u fly to another country..u normaly have to buy a return ticket to prove u will leave.. U go from country to country..how do u get around this ?
Awesome video as always mate. The little sand balls are the crabs feeding technique. They pick up sand , filter out what they can eat with their mouth and spit out a little ball. Love your work, you're an inspiration
The black stuff in the water could be algae. I live near Lake Erie (Ohio) and there are algae plums after big rain storms over the summer. Note: They don't recommend swimming in that water.
Ahhh, I live near there too! Lake Erie really does change from time to time. Clear to murky. The hotter it gets the worst it may look and they close beaches down.
Swathed in - 1°C fog, watching the sunset over the Indian Ocean... At one point during the lockdowns i actually unsubscribed because I couldn't stand the Greek island views... Back now😊
Really admire South East Asian women.. they do all kinds of jobs. Here in India, female participation in work is less than 19% much much below even Bangladesh's. Indian women sitting at home and doing nothing.
Are you sure they are doing nothing? Since the majority in India are living in poverty with little to no modern conveniences--cleaning, doing laundry, cooking, tending fields or animals etc.---are never-ending jobs. Many poor women in India may not have "outside" jobs--but they work very hard, and have little to no enjoyment in life.

Same for me. I could have written your comment word for word--with the exception of living here in Texas.
Beautiful Island authentic accommodation that blends in with nature. Can’t beat that sunset. Thanks for sharing. Cheers 🍹
WOW that house in the woods is magical!
2 gabe vids in 1 day… score!!
That bungalow looks almost exactly like the bungalow I stayed in on Chaweng Beach, Koh Samui in 1991!
Wow!! It looks so fun to be there!! Thanks for the extra video today!! I don’t know how you do it, but I’m sure grateful that you do!!
That sunset towards the end of the footage must be one of the most spectacular view ever👌. Absolutely magnificent Gabriel!
That sunset over the beach created incredibly beautiful colors.Sand crab balls, those shapes, are unique!Awsome landscape!
Thanks Gabriel for another inspiring video. Reminds me of my stay on Koh Samui in 1985, brings back lots of fun memories. 🙏🏼😎

Amazing place 🏝🤩👍
These islands are awesome. You’re the best. You take me away. 😊
i just say thank you ❤
Thailand have some realy beatiful Islands❤ Gabriel 🤝 🇸🇪
Second 🥈
The dark color is likely tannins from the tree leaves and needles being blown in and pulled in with the tidal change then decomposing. Looks relaxing.
Great place, better to be there as in cold, snow and expensive Europe or America. Poor internet speed but great sunset. Enjoy buddy
Omg 😳 no window screen ok more spiders🕷😏 The 🌇 sunset is divine 😍 and so much wild nature 🌳🌴 Love those 🦀 egg designs they are so unique.

Are you off to Burma next?Islands look amazing. No tourist? How did you book your bungalows?
Does Thailand have national shores and islands that can't be developed on ?
I believe so, Khao Sok National Park and the Similan islands come to mind. I haven't been to either but I'm assuming they're restricted from being developed.
It looks like a very cool island, Gabriel, but a bit too rustic for me ! 😂😂😂😂
There were so much wildlife - many Monitor Lizards (both land and water variety), Mongoose in Srilanka. Nothing of that sort in Thailand?
Gabe, can a dirt bike / smaller motorbike ride on the ferry boats? Thanks.
