    I have actually thought about how to improve the drop ship sequence of the match, and honestly...just put two powerful manned turrets on the ship. I promise you that if you make it a race to get to the really powerful pew pew gun, every teammate with the thinking capacity of an amoeba and likes shiny things will try to get there first.

      Oh that’s an even better idea than just putting turrets on the ship. This makes it more interactive. There are a lot of things to consider if we put manned turrets on the ship. We have to make sure the turrets aren’t overpowered, or they will make it less fun for the other team. Maybe making the turrets mostly specialize in titans. Makes sense for a dropship to have weapons that can deal with similar sized vehicles (Titans).

      That way more experienced players also get to help out lesser experienced ones
      (which honestly is a great part of titanfall's design and should be done more)

      The turrets should be plasma or laser based so ion can't catch and return, cuz that would also be a list of bs

      Pilots should be able to fight back easier. In this way, if only one pilot is delayed but the rest are on board they can make a last stand. The more players on board, the most effective. Right now the whole team is at the mercy of a potential clumsy player. That's what is frustrating.

    Add an option, If you have a spare battery, give it to the evac ship to shield it. On the other side, another thing that wrecks the evac is when a pilot saves their sentry boosts and plants them at the landing site.

      Wonderful idea about the batteries. The sentry spam is manageable if you have at least one titan.

    yeah thats why i always thought it would be a good idea to give pilots who are not in the dropship an option to kind of check themselves off which means the dropship will no longer count them, and no longer wait for them. it would be a good option for situations when you are very far from the dropship, knowing you can't get to it and don't want the rest of the team to die because you're not on the dropship. also i think all pilots from the losing team should have an information at all times of how much health the dropship has, to estimate can they get to it before it gets destroyed.

    I just wish pilots had more angles to shoot enemies at. An anti-titan sentry would also be great, and the ship could use way more health

      @@onemanarmybI wish it was a mix of tf1 and 2 if you did more bullet damage to the visor and also imagine if after taking a batter out it exposes a spot on the back you can shoot into as well and I’d you land an explosive it blows up from inside insta killing pilot

    I have thought of two possible solutions
    1. the winning team doesnt need to know where the fuck the dropship lands. this buys the loosing team time before the winners figure it out and converge on them, it prevents 6 fucking titans waiting for the ship at its pre determined landing zone as well (as demonstrated by YOUR clip so aptly,speaking off that was very rough dude im sorry for all that frustration you had to deal with probably haha)
    2. less realistic but more cool (on paper) solution , you could have the the ship move around the map at a reduced speed, not enough to outrun pilots or even titans but certainly fast enough to not be in the fucking nuclear eject blast(although they could predetermine where its gonna go and then eject so its not full proof)
    overall option 1 is much easier to program in by that single janitor fixing the game
    (Disclaimer: this comes from a guy who loves to put 2 satchels on the craft, damaging it to one bar and then wait last second before warping out to detonate, the biggest fyou i could come up with lmao)

      I read your propositions to fix the dropships and I gotta say, you put some thought into them! first point is good. It’s an easy fix that even the fabled janitor can program.
      On your second point, yeah, the moving dropship isn’t a good solution. But who knows, maybe I’m wrong.
      Also, the satchel shinanigans are kinda funny, so no hate.

    The dropship should move around to a few different lz's when one gets to hot. Also should be an option for pilots to opt out and allow the ship to leave without them

    In TF1 the ship wouldn't leave before timer even when all pilots were onboard, so that was fun...
    I think a good solution would be to have 2 or 3 evac ships in different parts of the map, then the winning team would have to focus on hunting down the remaining pilots rather than camping at the dropship.

      Damn, TF1’s dropship survival rate was probably abysmal.
      Second point) But it’s fun to kill a dropship full of pilots. Even having two dropships would be too much for the enemy team.

    Another problem is that rhe dropship often lands on the last respawn point of the enemy team which is incredibly stupid

    Make it it can’t be nuked and make it so we have a good angle to shoot and I think it would be good in terms of the ship itself. I don’t know how to fix the thing about the team not getting in

      Having your factional leader constantly remind you to get on the ship. At least it will help newer players.

    I think a vote system could really help the epilogue
    For example, give every alive player the option to make the ship take off and leave behind thosr who dont board it for the sake of the rest

      Never thought about that, but it can be used for toxic behavior like kicking players you don’t like. Also what’s the point of the dropship leave timer then.

    Good video like the scorch game play but I think on the escape part by by leaving a titan on guard mode and distracting them. Good video though.

      I haven't done that, since the enemy team usually knows to only focus on the dropship. I also choose to eject from my titan into the dropship because it's relatively safer than exiting your titan. Ejecting is also fun. But I could see your point if you have an enhanced auto-Scorch guarding the ship.

    Here's an idea. Why won't we just make it a rule cores are illegal to use on the dropship? (My original idea was to let the enemies evac but I don't think our wholesome community is that wholesome 😂)

    These are all such good ideas I also wish if you get shot in your titan while it’s in doom state he could like chuck you out as he explodes or maybe you can slip out as he falls idk more survivability too for that end game trying to defend the ship for players who try to escape or give the drop ship a battery

    damn this whole time i would stay as a titan mostly, or pilot was to fend off enemy pilots and titans from blowing up the drop ship. never knowing my sacrifice was in vain, unless the ship did fly away successfully

      I also did that in the beginning, don't worry. Of course there are a few exceptions. Before the dropship comes you have about 30 sec to do as much damage to the enemy titans. I use scorch's flame core on the grouped up titans and immediately eject.

    i would say the main issue is pilot weapons. Being able to use an SMG/AR with amped weapons on the dropship absolutely shreds it, which was never the case in TF1 as titans were basically the only way to damage it.

      Never thought of amped high damage weapons to be the main issue. But to be fair, I haven’t tried to see it for myself.

      Thunderbolt also does insane damage

    Well, the dropship isn't meant to be a safe escape. Thinking you will be safe once inside the dropship is absoluteley wrong. You still need to take the upper hand over the enemy BEFORE entering the dropship. It is not supposed to be as easy as "board the ship and you're safe".

      I am sentimental to this. I do think so small changes could go along to making the daring escape more exciting though. I think a good place to start would be to allow pilots more angles to shoot their AT weapons. My objective would be to make the sequence more fun, not necessarily more balanced. IMHO.

    How many hours do you have on the game? I noticed you have a gen 100 kraber and was wondering how long this took you?

      Started playing 3 years ago and only played Kraber after I learned some movement and game sense with smgs like alternator. I might suck sometimes with the kraber, but I still find it to be my most enjoyable weapon. If it’s TLDR, short answer is I have hundreds of hours on kraber. I might go over my stat page on a separate video to talk for the sake of talking. Let me know if you would like that, or at least curious.

      @@onemanarmybYeah that would definitely be cool to see, I used to love titanfall 1 so when 2 came out it was an amazing step up, I played for a bit and got really good with certain guns but unfortunately got dragged away with the fortnite hype, revisited it every now and then but with the servers back up now I’ve been fully back and I still believe it’s the best first person shooter I’ve ever played haha

    I have ideas for how the Dropship Evac might go changed. Instead of a stationary spot, maybe the dropship can fly around low to the ground, not too fast but enough to make it a bit more interesting. The ship should have one defensive turret a pilot can hop into and use to damage titans and pilots, and there should be an option to deploy a circle or electric smoke beneath the ship, maybe give the ability one or two charges. Finally give the ship buffed health and shields, and there’s the perfect combo.

      @@onemanarmyb It would be a lot more tanky for sure, but I say this stuff because I’ve seen a dropship get taken down in seconds by Titans. Besides the dropship is only half the picture. Enemies can still focus on preventing you from reaching the ship in the first place.

    I agree with nuke but I think current dropship is alright. The way I see it, it's not supposed to be a get out of jail free card if you will (considering it gives you the same xp as a win). If the teams were evenly matched most likely the enemy team will not have enough titans/firepower to take it out in my experience. Only when the team has completely squashed by point dif do i ever seem to see evac destroyed. Most my matches on both sides of the situation i find dropship does evac.

      I agree that it shouldn’t be a get out of jail free card that gives the loosing points for free. What it should be is a last chance for the lost team to fight or escape the winning team. It’s just that it’s not a fair fight when one pilot can whole-handedly kill the loosing team. Be it the new player not going to the ship or a nuke eject near the ship.

      Usually, I attack pilots at the end sequence, but if they get on the ship I let them be.
      I can think of some of the reasons why I think people destroy the ship.
      Could be revenge against a toxic opponent.
      Could also be because people don’t put too much thought into it, and when they see a big healthbar on screen they simply shoot.

      I mean with that logic they might as well let everyone get a 3 kill streak and let the other team win to maximise player rewards. I think that the rewards don't matter much and it's more about the fighting

    Honestly, dude, the game is fine the way it is right now. It's supposed to suck when you lose. The survival of the escape ship depends on how you do on the match and your ability to get to it. If you lose the match, the probability of escape is 50/50, again, it depends on how many enemy titans are left standing. If you see you are going against 4 Titans and you need to escape..... "DON'T board the spaceship, stay alive instead because you are not going to make it out. The only thing, at the moment I would complain about is, the unbalanced way lobbies are formed occasionally, but that is to be expected because of the lack of player count. In any case, the game is still pushing you to be a skillful pilot, which is GOOD! maybe there should be a way to also eject from the spaceship 😂 and get some points for that if you survive the explosion 😅 ✌🏻

      I disagree on the part that loosing inherently sucks. It usually does suck but it doesn't have to be that way all the time, hence the dropship. My video discusses the fact that your chance is not 50/50 because of the titans among other things; which even you mentioned.
      I do agree with the other half of your argument. The lobbies are small and because of that teams are unbalanced. Ejecting from the dropship would be nice, especially since you feel like a sitting duck with titans around. I don't know about opting out of the dropships. That needs consideration.

      Looking back, this video did good because of me complaining about something. I heard that negativity gets more clicks and views. That might be true but, I'm not planning to have my channel be focused on negativity.

    I don't see why you should "balance the dropship". It's intended for losing team to have a small win, but they still lost the game, and dropship sequence won't change that. It's literally nothing to bargain about in my opinion. Like.. you lost, skill issue, no matter if you got to evacuate or not, you failed

      I addressed this in another comment. Also nuke eject is not skillful to use, you have to press a button 3 times to win basically.

    literally nobody cares about this sequence anymore, if you lost, you lost, you don't deserve to get extra merits 100% of the time, it's meant to be unlikely. Nothing is changing, this game is 8 years old.

      I never said I want an easy, 100% escape guarantee, dropship sequence. I want it to be fair or at the very least more fun. Nothing wrong with discussing the game.

      @@onemanarmyb I just dont get what you mean by fair/more fun, its kind of just a little end sequence to let the winners finish you off while you try to get out alive, I think it is how the devs intended it to be. Im sorry for starting off so rudely though, anonimity and thinking about Monarch mains does alot to a mf.

      You're right, this is the intended idea, it's just that it can be interrupted by a newer player or a simple nuke eject.
      Appreciate for being civil in the comments. A group of Monarch titans at max level truly makes you wish to burn the world.(Use Scorch!)

    This video is very petty. Complaining about teammates in a game that doesnt have comp just because this flavor mechanic is not perfect for your tastes. If there 4 titans at your ship you already lost and deserve to lose harder.
    You complain about people being too far away and ignoring the ship, but at the end you show yourself ignoring the ship and only embarking when it already took off.
    Learn to enjoy the game, get good and you will care less and less about the dropship, which is just there to add to a game you already lost, it doesnt really matter.

      You’re right this video is just me ranting/complaining on about dropships in a game with few people. What’s wrong with that?
      I also made it pretty clear that the dropship sequence is not fun. This is because it’s exploitable and not a skill issue on my part, or frankly any other teammates who try to go to the ship.
      Lastly, in the end, I did mention that I should have went to the ship earlier.
      If you’re not a fan of videos that focus on the problem’s of titanfall - which can be negative - then that’s understandable. My next video won’t be a rant.
