I have been watching your channel for a while … and today for the first time, I feel glad my ex left. my ex monkey branched after 15 Yrs of marriage - his new “fiancé” also monkey branched from her 8 year marriage to him (she broke up w/ her husband on Facebook)- a relationship born out of bilateral cheating/monkey branching …. long term success? Thank you for sharing Dani’s story. I am living through a similar situation right now. I was with my ex for a year. During that time, I elevated him financially, emotionally, and spiritually. I provided him a place to live, where he paid 1/4 of the rent, and encouraged him to find full-time work again. He landed a great job that he loves. I made sure that we always had food to eat and even splurged to take him out to a fairly expensive event.I held him when he cried and listened when he was angry. I went out of my way to be civil with his ex when his son visited from out of state, in hopes of building bridges with his family, and I welcomed his son into my life. About a month ago, he told me he’d been talking to another woman for a month and “felt there was a possibility of a future with her.” The range of emotions I’ve experienced have run the gamut. Hearing another’s experience has been validating.
My husband of 12 years just did this, he has been shacked up with a Jezebel since May yet still not divorced from me. I didn't realize what he is until the brutal discard. Wow, this is the exact thing I am going through with my ex girlfriend..just opposite gender. It hurt hearing this..I was betrayed, used, abused emotionally..30 year friendship tossed aside. My ex has taken no responsibility in her cheating within our relationship.

This is some of the best content on RUclips. You’re 💯 correct on you don’t know anyone until the honeymoon phase is over. No one is who they seem until you see them deal with the ups and downs of real life. When someone SHOWS you who they are believe it !
This story was tough to listen to and made me tear up a bit... im currently going through the same thing pretty much. We were together for 21 years, since we were 17 years old. She ended up monkey branching to a friend from works dad that just got out of jail. We still dated each other and went out about 2-3 times a week, went on vacations and all that. We were still very intimate with each other all the way up till the night she left out of the blue. She will never admit what she did but i found out by playing detective after she left i just had to know what happened...its only been about 2 months since she left im left taking care of our home and our dogs completely by myself. Looking back now i see red flags that i should have seen and called her out on. The late nights at work, changing the password on her phone, turning off Bluetooth in the car so her messages wouldn't come through while we were driving, lying about little things that she never lied about before. Im 38 years old and i dont know how to move forward, all i can do is just work on myself and try to heal i suppose.

Christian, I just found your channel yesterday and I’m loving your content so far. I’m getting perspectives and answers to a breakup that happened a year ago where I believe monkey branching was happening, but the two cheating parties (who dated ten years ago) are denying it. I’m still very hurt by it and it consumes me even to this day because I didn’t really get concrete answers to help me have closure. His tainted childhood are the main caused for his unacceptable behavior. Cannot totally blamed him for it but whatever it is she makes the correct decision of leaving & getting rid him from this toxic relationship. She deserves a guy that truly appreciates her value.
Nobody is responsible for the family they were born into or what type of trauma they suffered. However, when you are an adult it is 100% your duty to address your childhood trauma and heal from it if not you will cause pain to those around you.
Just on this one the great thing for the girl involved and she sounds a lovely lovely caring girl, is she has no kids or marriage etc that is a blessing she can take her time fully heal and have no reason to ever speak to him again there will only be one winner and it’s not the disgusting broken guy
