東方Touhou [Metalcore/Vocal] Eternal Voyage of the Moon

One more for the day. This one has been an absolute favorite ever sice I first heard it.
I mean you guys know I'm a sucker for medleys, metal, heavy atmosphere and themes that don't get enough arrangements. This track caters to all my desires and it's just such ear candy that I can have it on loop for the whole day while working on writing or artwork. Also a pleasure to find gems like this from circles that are barely known by the general audience. Just... mwah~!

I´ve heard/ read the name TsuBaKi before, but I can´t remember which arrangement, not even which kind... it´s driving me crazy right now. I think it´s been something more on the accoustic/instrumental side though, something from Bishamonten´s playlists, I think. aww man, this will bug me for quite some time.

It's the piano that really does it. Pizuya's Cell also uses it and it softens the instrumental parts efficiently.

The vocal reminds me of Utada Hikaru's songs for some reason (couldn't put my finger on it at first, which bugged me for a while), probably the way she emphasizes the high note at the end of each word.

But i wish, there would be a really hard metalcore version of touhou songs, hard but with the original melody.

while I’m not usually a fan of music with vocals, I really like the instrumentation (uh, is that the right word?) and melody this one has.
(I also feel similarly about this as your description, the atmosphere it sets is amazing)

I heard this one for the first time on Gensokyo Radio and it was an instant favourite. I searched extensively for the lyrics but could only find lyrics for a small part of the song. Do you by chance have the lyric booklet, if there is one?
