@@smeagolalltheway When I saw the notification pop up, I legit thought it was from one of my videos and I was all "did I leave someone hanging for TWO whole years?" so I was kinda relieved to see that wasn't the case haha. Though now I'm sad we haven't seen that Panthor yet. But good call on getting the Classics! That is a gorgeous version.

This is pretty much a perfect figure in my opinion, the real issue is whether or not you prefer the new design, which I do. The saddle and armor are more angular and polished, and it’s fantastic that he can turn from Battlecat to Cringer just like that.
Amazing Figure. This Battle Cat is awesome. For those that have not held it on hand yet, you will be shocked. Even Dan here changed his opinion on it.
I still like the decade old classic most.

I got him yesterday for my birthday and I love his posability hes so fun to pose and mess around with i never get bored just puting him in poses and just stareing at him hes the coolest toy I've ever owned and because he was on the shelf so long the store clark gave me a discount and I got him half price!!!
The more I see this new He-man, the more he looks like an adult man with a little boys face. It's weird
On a positive note, he is a cool looking Battle cat, if a bit beefy
Well nowadays pretty boys are the new handsome lol but still not that bad I think is base alittle from that previous prince adam that got cancelled half way thru.
I bought this figure and I very happy with it. Good articulation.
Torso not only can twist. But can move up and down. Left and right.

One thing I like more on this than CLassics is the feet. I was always disappointed the Classics Battle Cat didn't have any claws, just tiny little nails painted on. This version has some proper claws! Looks so much better.
And this figure seems to have much more articulation
Will we be seeing a supplement for the Revelation line of toys to go The Toys of He-Man book. I missed out on the 1st bonus supplement as live in UK 😢.
Great review ,missed out on the classics line and is too expensive for me to try to obtain , but this is just as good and cheaper in price , just like the origins line which I collect . Managed to get this guy today at Target and I wasn't even looking for him and was shocked when I saw him. I immediately cancelled my pre order at Entertainment Earth .
Finally got this figure for Christmas, so huge and well built, really a fun figure 😁

A list of figures that this mold can be recoloured/retooled into. Panthor, dupli-cat/copy cat, savage cat (for wun-dar/oolar) battle lion, clawdeen, a leopard (for a savage she-ra to go along side savage he-man) and griffin from the 2000-X series.
Can’t believe Classics BC is eleven years old. I only have Battle Lion, so this new one is a must. Kind of wish he was growling personally.
Helmet looks kinda dinosaur from the side.. Like triceratops
My biggest toy collecting regret may be not collecting the Classics line. It just looks amazing and I prefer the look of Classics Battle Cat over this more stylized Battle Cat. Great review!

Wow awesome review Dan. Definitely going to pick this up if I get a chance. You sure sprung up Skelegod out of nowhere. Then you mention it might be at my local Target. I immediately bolted to my nearest Target (just over the brick wall) still recovering from the flu. I wore a mask as a courtesy. Nabbed a Skelegod! Pricey at 29.99, but what can we do? I officially own my first Masterverse toy. Here we go again.

I can't sit down the masterverse first wave he man on this his own battle cat..his legs don't spread as wide to fit on the saddle properly
Really Great and huge Battle Cat. I really like it. The articulation and colors are great 💚👍🏻👍🏻 And I like how soft the armor is, and Cringer's face looks 💖👍🏻💚 Can't wait to see the rest of this toy line looks like, and their improvements 😃

I like him. I got Skelegod at Target last night (ordered "pick up" through the app) and I managed to order Battle Cat from their site around 5am today (ship to store). Hopefully it doesn't get canceled.
I have vintage, Classics, Reaction, and Origins, that's enough for me. Gotta set limits since I'm running out of room!

Sap green would be the complementary color to the kind of dark pink used there, to make the toy more attractive to the eye. I still prefer the old emerald green from the previous battle cat, but this one is still really nice. Regards.

Saddle is made of lower- grade plastic and not sculpted to snugly fit He-Man. He falls right off. You had one job Battle Cat.

I have always considered Battle Cat to be one of the top ten coolest looking fictional characters of all time. The character looks great on cartoons, comic, toys, games, anything. The Dolph Lundgren films was pathetically low budget, this was official explained reason why the producers left out Battle Cat from the film and why Orco was made into a troll looking character with legs. I prefer the classic blunt and broad look of Battle Cat than the newer thinner look.
I love everything about this Revelation Battle Cat but the light green! However, now that you've put it beside the Classics, I like the Classics one much better. It looks more detailed, real, green, and ferocious. Even the saddle is more detailed and nice. The Classics look just amazing. Damn, I really missed the bus with the Classics releases.
Minor nitpicks aside, I don't really mind the lighter fur on this one. Could easily be an older Cringer/Battle Cat, which could also justify the somewhat larger size.

Who sculpts the MOTO Revelations figures?
I loved the ferocious tiger face sculpt 😔 they should have just made a small tiger body for cringer.
He totally looks just like my ancient cat max... He's an extremely elderly fellow who used to be big but now he has spindly little legs and tail.
I’ve got Skelegod. Only one I’ve found so far and he’s badass! This Battle Cat is great! Still think my favorite is 2010 Classics tho
Hands down. You can't top the Classics line. It was the ideal. These are cartoon versions. I love the battle cat.
I will try to get this one, I like the new design even though the details of sculpt and paint seems a bit inferior to the Classics line, I got too late to get those so I take this opportunity. The Classics line is just crazy expensive on the secondary market these days. And I really like the size and articulation of this new Battle cat

We have him as Cringer, but don't have the mask and saddle. I think he's the best ever, but do wish we had the mask and saddle.

The box design is just odd... I get it, they want to disnguish it from Origins, but man, the original MOTU design is legendary. Having a "collector" series without it is a missed opportunity.
And Battle Cat really looks like he as a hunch back...

I think it looks great!, I bet if you heated up the mask in hot water,you could form fit it better to the jawline.
just for fun, when doing the comparison you should have added the tarzan jungle cat (1971) and big jim tiger (1976) since they're all from the same mould. :)

Skelegod....what were they thinking with that. Its almost as if the design meeting for Skelegod was this: So you know that bit in the live action movie where Skeletor transforms into a god using the power sword, lets do that only make the him look like a character form a 90s Rob Liefeld comic.
Just picked up skelegod today. He’s a pretty cool figure. Once we get castle greyskull my son can have his skeletor take it over and power up into skelegod! Fun times ahead
It seems to me to be more based on the Skeletor from DC Universe vs. MOTU comic crossover

I really like this for sure. I always like the Battlecat but for you high end collectors and if you really want the Battlecat at its best... Follow Mondo Shop which has one of these coming out soon and way much more detailed and will be the biggest and bestest one out there. I really can't wait. So if you don't know Mondo shop or Mondo toys, you'll absolutely love the new Battlecat and the MOTU line from them.

I believe this Origins He-Man was from last years SDCC exclusive pack. It had mini comic versions of Prince Adam & He-Man. The pack had both retail & vintage style heads.
