I've been in the groups for a few years now and it was fun seeing other fans share their figures, but it wasn't something I thought I'd get into again after over 2 decades of not buying toys. That changed with this CGI show and the announcement/sneak peek of this figure. I love this guy so much... such a great translation from show to toy. I didn't expect so much articulation, too. The only negative I have is the size... he's so tiny! He was much larger in the show. But it's a small gripe... overall I am so pleased with this guy!
I like this design, I couldn't put my finger on it until I saw some old zoid mechas and I saw the resemblance of liger zero schneider. Like I said great update on his design.
Got my Battle Cat the other day at target. Also did you know he has another set of springs in the front shoulders. You can swing the front paws out at the shoulders and they spring back. Kind of a “battle cat slap” 😂

Actually a pretty decent-looking Battle Cat. It’s a bit baffling that Mattel went the extra mile to specifically make it so He-Man could be mounted on him and then cut short of completing that mile by not making it click into place perfectly so that he actually stays mounted. Very lazy. Also kind of weird that the armor and helmet aren’t removable like they are on every single version before it. I understand why in the context of this series… still a bit weird though.
I grew up with the original, but I’m digging this design. And my boys are enjoying watching the new animated series this comes from. so I’ve been waiting on this Battlecat to come out. I was a bit disappointed he wasn’t in the first wave so they could have their He-Man riding Battlecat right from the start. But, right before Valentine’s Day I found one at Target. I needed two (one for each of them) so I’ve held on to it, but now he’s on Amazon and in Target stores so I can grab a second one. I’m really impressed with the articulation from what you showed. It looks like he has more articulation than the regular figures do.
I love battle cat. Im actually unsure why i dont have the Masterverse one yet when ive seen him so much haha! Very exited to add this guy to the Pride. awesome reveiw as always Dan! Thank you
Hmmm pretty much the same as me Dan - the same with Revelations Battlecat and a few others except well Revel He-Man & Skeletor - not sure on Skelegod or Teela and Andra etc and all that Jazz lol ......but i don't mind Savage He-man and Orko or Faker but yea i got Man-at-Arms from the revel line and looking to get Maybe Beastman - Moss man -Tri-clops, Fisto , Stinkor, Spikor & Evil-Lyn those are the ones that really have any gel with me, which is goon in a way i guess. i wished Origins Battlecat / Panthor had back leg ratchets for those rearing up poses, but there is always action figure stands i suppose, and after some fiddling you can kinda get an ok standing up pose using the tail as a tripod stand with the legs.
Please, mattel please, repaint and retool this figure into panthor, dupli-cat/copy cat, savage cat for wun-dar/savage he-man/oolar, battle lion for king gr?skull, clawdeen for catra, catra's cat form, a leopard for a savage she-ra.

There are two He-Man shows on Netflix. There's He-Man Revelations which is traditional animation. And then there's He-Man and the Masters of the Universe, which is CGI. This Battle Cat is from the latter show. Both were released pretty close together so I can see where it can be confusing.
Cringer/ Battle cat’s what making me endure the CGI series, not that its bad, but i wouldnt have watched it w/o him..maybe theyd release a battle cat with a removable helmet, would like to add this to my Tiger Tribe army of other Battle cats.
It's to small. It would feel and look way more cool if was much bigger and scary. He man is quite big figure. Other thing I wish to hear actually is the sound features in both, he man and cat. The famous quote he man screams from old cartoon when I was child is so cool, I wish to move the hand in figure or push button and hear that any time I wanted. With some extra light features in figure. If not sward he man remind me Thor. So please, do the he man with sound and whole quote he screams and light ;-). Than my kid would feel that power better! The way figure sits in the car is not good. It's to look at it. Kids playing, moving, running, fighting with other toys, so He Man must sits tight.

If a waiter or waitress is waring a Mask I make it a POINT NOT TO TIP them at the end of my meal. Sometimes I will not even pay for the meal and walk outs!!!!! TAKE THAT LOOSERS!
What is wrong with you? The servers probably don't have a choice about masks as it is the restaurants policy. And how does them wearing a mask adversely affect your meal to the point where you don't pay for it? Get a grip.

I gave serving experience and I can tell you a majority of customers are whiney dumbasses who take ten minutes to figure out if they want sugar in their own coffee. I get the feeling you might just be one of those customers

The shoulder have more articulation than he demonstrated. Not just forward and backwards. You can swing them outwards also.
Interesting Fact: This new He-Man figure can sit perfectly on the Battle Cat Origins as well...🐈

I was gonna pick this battlecat up for my origins. But after seeing his size and that seat design I'm very mixed.

I’m not a fan of a lot of the designs from this series, but I do kinda like this Battle Cat.

Helmet looks very dragonesque. They're sitting at my Target, but I've been waiting to pull the trigger. This series is NOT moving in my area, AT ALL.

The paint apps on his back legs are terrible, you can see it's fur, but it's all just 1 chunk of red plastic.

Probably the last CGI He-Man toy I’ll buy, after Battlecat I’m out. And my kids don’t like the line.
