Oh yeah! That Packaging art is Awesome! I'm keeping that box for sure! That's why they added that vertical hinge joint. It really helps the hand hold that Sword correctly👍
You're not alone buddy. In fact, I think that's almost 90% of the reason I bought . Suddenly knowing they can do that pose, --- GAME CHANGER. I only wish that those hand attachments from 2019 SDCC Adam can be bought or found elsewhere .
@@leorosa Yeah it's cool they released a single card 40th anniversary He-man if you didn't get the 40th anniversary twp pack figure. But its cool to have the set with the Skeletor, Metal weapons, comic book and the box art.
Thanks for the great review. I'm planning on getting the 40th Anniversary He-man, he is such a great figure, my opinion on collecting is the following: As long as you enjoy collecting, why shouldn't you do it. People who never were into collecting don't understand people who enjoy collecting. If you have fun doing it, you are not too old for Collecting. Greetings from Austria
Thanks for watching and sharing Those comments! Yes I like the new look and design with this 40th anniversary He-man in the Masterverse style. I think it's a better He-man for this line then the first release one. He has all the Newer Masterverse features but yet some of those vintage inspired features like the Head, Body and Weapons. As long as you like collecting Action Figures, Toys or Masters of the universe! Then buy what ever you enjoy as an Adult Toy collector! That's why were all here and what we all do! Greetings from The USA!👍😁
Awesome haul! I managed to get it as well.... I remembered I was still studying at college and jobless when MOTU classics revealed and released (also I didn't know about it).... Years later after I graduated and got a job, I began collecting Transformers, till slowly I heard about MOTU classics, I began searching for its' He-man and Skeletor but all sold out and very costly on eBay/online... Got bit disappointed that I was too late... Now I managed to grab the masterverse 40th anniversary, I was happy with it, thinking it as substitute and affordable than MOTU classics I've been hunting, hopefully they'll announce/released 40th Anniversary Skeletor as well... soon....
Thanks for Checking out the video and Sharing your comments about your toy collecting. Yes I had no idea the Classics existed until years later after the line was almost finished and Super7 took the license over. The only way I was able to get the classics was unfortunately ebay. It took me four years and Thousands of dollars to collect them all from Mattel and Super7. I own most of the collection. Missing a few things. I always say the revelation, New Eternia and And Masterverse line is a great and more affordable substitute for collecting some cool seven inch scale MOTU figures if you didn't get the classics or to just mix in with your classics. Fhis New 40th anniversary Masterverse He-man is Awesome. He looks like a He-man should look in the Modern day. Hopefully We will see a single card Card Skeletor release next year👍
I was in exactly the same boat around that time. College, broke. I had to budget just to afford the mainline Transformers I was collecting, so a MOTU Classics subscription through Matty Collector was out of the question. I feel like Masterverse has become a second chance to collect MOTU characters.
@@ezragrun Yeah Now with the Masterverse or Origins lines going Strong and getting better. We have a more affordable option to Collect Some new MOTU stuff. Lots of cool figures coming out this and Next year for both lines to add to out Collections👍
Ya know, many years ago, I begin my toy collecting (Transformers was my 1st to collect) when I'm at college (near end of my semester actually)... I invited my college mates to my house for college group project, they saw my collections and laughed at me and saying I'm still a wuss/kid playing toys, then they spread the gossips in the lecture room... All laughed at me, saying I should go back to elementary school or hug a teddy bear while sleeping... Felt humiliated... I told the toy seller, he told me just ignore those jerks, they never understand the joy of being the collectors, he told me that he sold a Godzilla figure to a 'mom', he asked is it for her kids? She said no, is for her to display at her office table, so that whenever she's stressed at work, she can look/admire at the figures she love, she can feel relax or relieved... He also told me, he knew a 'grandma' still collects Barbie dolls and a 'Grandpa' even collects MOTU and Hot Wheels.. So is nothing is wrong.... Years ago, I shared my collections photos in my Facebook, none of my FB friends give a like or comments and some of them asked me to quit all this nonsense and get a life, so I stopped posting my collections photos till I joined the toy community group and share.. Realized lots of people gave likes to my photos and all talk about it freely, then I start watching RUclips about toy reviews and collecting like Pixel Dan and other toy collectors youtubers, I'm glad lots of people are collectors like me... Now I'm coming to age 40, still collecting toys and playing videogames which still brought me joy for reclaiming my childhood...
@@charlesltk2099 Wow! Thanks for Sharing all of that info. Yes I can basically say the same thing you just said about my Toy collecting life as well as many other with this Adult Toy collecting Hobby. I even made a Hangout video with my self a few months ago and one with me and my Wife Talking all about were my Toy collecting started and why. I too came upon Pixal dan. And went down a very similar path. It's Awesome! Sorry to be brief, I'm on the Road and have to get going. But it's great hearing other people's Toy collecting stories. We are all in this Together👍
Hello, I was slowly restoring my '80s collection of MOTU, when I saw this figure on Amazon. I just couldn't resist, and after just a few days I decided to order it. It was the beginning of the end for my wallet. I started collecting more and more Masterverse figures, mainly of the New Eternia line. Just awesome. Now I've 2 parallel collections, one of the '80s figures and the more modern one is the 40th Anniversary/New Eternia. The only exceptions are Revelation Savage He-man and Orko in a box and Origins Scareglow, a wonderful present from my girlfriend. I got even the San Diego Comic-Con He-man and Skeletor limited box set. Returning to the main topic, this 40th Anniversary He-man is really amazing: he's the perfect representation of He-man in a modern revisitation and it is the most awesome figure of both my collections. What a pity that in 2024 there is no trace or announcement of 40th Anniversary independently boxed Skeletor!
Thanks for stopping in to check out the review and sharing your toy Hauls and thoughts! Yeah, I know what you mean about collecting MOTU and the wallet! I had most of the 80s vintage collection as a kid. I have most of the Classics line now that I purchased over the last several years. I never thought I would get into The Origins and Masterverse and never mind becoming a content Creator on RUclips with all this stuff. But that's where I am! I have most of the Origins and Masterverse line now. I reviewed many of these figures. I think they are awesome! The New Eternia line is really cool. I'm not sure why they haven't released a single card 40th Anniversary Skeletor yet. There were rumors a year ago about one coming to New Eternia. But I guess they got too much other stuff going now.
@@Themanchlid Hello! Thank you for answering! I'd like to collect the Classics line too, but its costs are insane. Even if I chose to buy only my 4 favourite Classics figures: Trap-jaw, King Hsss, Ram-man (the one in red leathered armor) and Scare-glow it would be just impossible. Unbearable. I'm quite satisfied with my actual, affordable MOTU collections, so I'll stick to them without even considering to start a new one. Congrats for your channell and your Classics collection, really epic!
@LichRC No problem with the reply. Yes, classics is a lot of money now. Scarglow was actually the first classics figure I started with from eBay. There were two versions of Ram Man. The Matty collector one with Green legs. I have him loose. Also, the Super7 Mini comic inspired one with the orange legs. The Masterverse line is a good alternative to collect figures that are something similar to the Classics. The Masterverse is more affordable, easier to find in some stores or online, of course. And they have better articulation then Classics. I'm glad you like and support the line. That helps keep more figures coming! Thanks again 👍
@@Themanchlid The Ram- man with green legs and red leathered armor is the best Classics figure of that char. Very cool, extremely faithful to the '80s concept, both in colors and bulkyness. 👍
@LichRC Yeah, that's what the Classics and the whole point of the series were about. Taking those vintage inspired figures and making more modernized with better looks, size, and articulation but sticking to the core vintage designs for nastalgia!
So, it appears as if this version of He-Man isn’t part of any particular wave and is sort of its own one-off special release. I’ve said it before, I’m not really into Masterverse too much, but the SDCC set would have been nice to have. I am tempted to try and get this at some point down the line, though. At first, I wasn’t really sure if I liked the way this figure looked for whatever reason (I think it has to do with the paint wash on the body: glossy in some areas, slightly tanner in others, etc.), but the more I’m seeing of it, the more it’s growing on me.
He is Basically part of The Masterverse line but yet labeled as 40th anniversary figure or He-man just like the Skeletor he came with in that 40th anniversary style. I really like the New look! Yes it's strange some of the paint applications. I just look at as Battle damage, Sun burn and dirt from Battle. Lol. The face color to is off from the body. At distance on a shelf that stuff isn't as noticeable. I like having him in my collection. I think you will like him in hand if you want a modern He-man in a seven inch scale that is Nastalgic to the vintage or Origins He-man👍
No problem! Thanks for watching the review! I'm glad you like the new look of this He-man Figure for the Masterverse line. I think he came out really out! That's sounds like a good look with setting this He-man next to those Figures. I took mine out of box and he sits on my Shelf with some Mcfarlane figures.👍
Thanks again for Watching! I Think if they keep this 40th anniversary style line going. We will see Skeletor, Merman, Faker and Battle Cat and Panthor to name a few!👍
If I get two, the first thing I'd do is give them matching arm bracers. Then maybe turn one of them into a King Grayskull. I hope they do a updated Battlecat.
@@EMMETTCULLENHALE I consider myself a Ebay buying professional. People even Rip on me about buying on eBay. That's how I get everything ahead of the Game. My point is I have never seen anything 1/2 the price then retail unless it was loose or missing parts.
Thanks for Stopping in and Sharing your Awesome comments as always! Yeah this what a Masterverse He-man should look like. The sculpt and Weapons are really cool👍
Awesome man! Congrats on the pick up! That's really cool you like the figure. Many people are mixed I think he came out great for the Masterverse line👍💯
Those hinged hands with the up and down wrist are so much better for weapon posing, I'm glad they switched it out. I have the 40th Anniversary two pack ordered from Mattel Creations but I'm almost afraid to display that He-Man because of the flocking maybe getting dirty or dusty. I'll probably get this one for my desk so I can play around with it like I have my Viking He-Man right now.
Thanks for Checking the out. Yeah I see the whole idea of that vertical hinge joint was to position that Sword correctly to hold it up like the animation. I think the flocked areas will be OK. I'm just keeping my 40th He-man and skeletor in that Awesome window packaging set. The Viking He-man is Awesome really Cool.
Love the fact that there now is this version with shield, axe and sword all in one. At least 2022 I got that basic he man I wished for since I got some of these 18cm figures. .. will look great on Masterverse Battle cat.
Yeah its a good Heman design for The Masterverse line. He has that Vintage Nastalgia that many of us collectors grew up with from the vintage toy line but still has enough Changes to feel like something different in that Masterverse style and sculpts. It's definitely nice to get all three weapons. He looks good on the Masterverse Battle Cat and Classics like I showed in the Review. Thanks for checking the video out👍
Thanks for watching and sharing your toy order updates as well as positive comments about this figure. It depends were you preorded from. This figure still is in limited quantities out there. I got mine from the paulmart store online. I think he is still in stock but more money then places like BBTS. Hopefully you get him in hands soon👍
Glad to hear you got one coming and like this new Masterverse He-man design. I really like the Masterverse line and what direction the figures are going. Those customs sound really interesting. I like to customize a little bit too sometimes. It's fun what kind of things you can do with these figures👍
My understanding is it’s now pretty common for wrist joints to have one hand move back and forth and the other up & down (with some having 300 extra hands that do everything), but makes total sense for the 40th Anniversary He-Man to actually be able to “Hold aloft his magic sword” and actually be able to do it! I really prefer the plastic furry-panties over the fake-fur of the exclusive! Hope Skeletor impresses as much or more! Cheers dude!
Yeah that Wrist joint is Designed specifically for the Power Sword for this He-man. Unfortunately the only way to get the Furry loin cloth is with the SDCC version which is Expensive and only available if you got one at Mattel creations. I think the single card Release is a good option aside missing the Fur and Metal weapons. I Think we will see a single card 40th anniversary Skeletor something next year I'm guessing. Cheers to you too 👍
Thanks for Watching man! I appreciate your View and feedback! Yeah I didn't pull out the Battle cats in my SDCC Review because that video was already long enough with He-man and skeletor at the same time. But i wanted to make sure this new He-man definitely was set on some Battle Cats. Especially the Classics and Revalation one👍
Great looking he man figure like the box art b tempted to get another just 2 keep mint cause it looks so good in box say we will get a skeletor down the road hopefully
I agree! I think this is the Way a Masterverse He-man should be done. Then if you want a different look. There's the New Eternia Viking He-man out. Yes I can almost bet we will see a Single card release of Thec40th anniversary Skeletor sometime Next year👍
Thanks for checking out the review on this He-man figure. Yeah, this figure was a real mix for many people here in the USA. Most of the complaints were because of the over size chest, which I thought looked cool on this He-man. I'm not sure if any places in Europe carried this He-man figure.
Thanks for Checking the video the out. I'm glad you look forward to getting this He-man figure. Many people are mixed on him. I really like the New look for the Masterverse line too👍
My bro, quick fix for the loose wrist joints so they can hold up the weapons: Cut a tiny square or triangular piece of T-Rex, duct, or electrical tape and cover the top half of the wrist peg, and then re-insert into peg hole. 10 times better. - Awesome reviews as always! - Salute from Michigan
Thanks for watching and I appreciate that advice! Yeah I usually use silocone or Kiki joint fix to help the joints stiffen up. But that a good suggestion too. Aside those little Things. He's a solid figure and fun to have in the Masterverse line!👍-Salute From NJ
Yeah I don't preorder to many things from there. They take a long time. But have fair prices. I got this of the Paulmart toy store. He is still in stock. But more pricey then BBTS.
Yeah I really like this Masterverse He-man. I like the colors, New Buck and Head sculpt better then the revalation one. Ok I'll try to pop in. I'm out now on the road with wife.
Thanks for stopping in again my friend! Yeah even here in the USA these are hard to find sometimes. I ordered my figures from places online for more money unfortunately. It's the only way I can get new stuff early for reviews. Maybe look at Amazon prime global shipping. They get this stuff in stock too👍
Thanks for checking this video out too! Yeah I really like the way this Masterverse He-man came out. It's funny how many people don't like him. But more do. I also have The Masterverse Netflix Cgi He-man and Skeletor coming in soon. And The Masterverse New Eternia Battle Armored He-man and Jitsu on the way👍
I really enjoy this He-Man. Having him in front of my Classics Grayskull, being able to loft the Power Sword and look up at it, something I could never accomplish with the Classics version. Crazy that people were finding this at Five Below for $5! I think it sold so poorly Mattel cancelled plans to release the single Skeletor. Shame.
I agree! I like this design for a Vintage inspired Masterverse He-man. I got both the SDCC pack with the Skeletor and this single card He-man as well. I didn't get an alternate head that gives him a different look from the SDCC He-man. That wrist joint is the way to go for the power sword! I'm glad you like the overall look of this He-man. He was a real mix for many people. That's probably why the Skeletor never got released as you mentioned. Thanks for checking out this review as well 👍
I like this body a million times better than any of the Masterverse stuff and if Masterverse was like this from the get go I would get it. This is what He-Man is all about. This is a MOTU He-Man. Your not the only one who thinks this figure is way better. I wish Mattel would do more with this mold.
Thanks for watching and Sharing your Feedback on the figure and review. Yeah I think this is a Perfect Masterverse He-man for sure. It does have some flaws that's easy to pic out like the discolored face that doesn't match the body right or the over size calfs in the boots. But aside that. He's is great! This is the He-man we needed for this Masterverse line👍
It depends what Your looking for in a Masterverse He-man figure! If you Want Vintage Nastalgia from the 80s but with a modern take and sculpt. Then this one. Iy you want Something different from a later time, More Reastic looking and more barbaric in style. Then the New Eternia Viking He-man is better.
Hello friend. Excellent review, congratulations... I would like to take this opportunity to ask the following question: does this He Man (simpler) have firmer joints than the He Man "sdcc" which came with the Skeletor? I'm asking, as my He Man "sdcc" came with the crotch joints (where it connects the legs to the figure's body) quite loose. This disappointed me a lot. So I was very unlucky or does one of your He Man have this problem too? Thank you in advance, I await your reply...
Hello to you as well! I appreciate you watching. The joints and Crotch joints on this He-man are A little tighter then my SDCC one. I'm not sure if they intended to keep the joints more loose because of the Flocking in the shorts. It varies figure to figure. And I have seen tight joints become loose over time in many figures. I use a liquid joint fix called Kiki joint fix. I got it on amazon. I showed it one time in one of my videos how to use it and how it works. So thats a big help. I also use Kaiser stands I buy on ebay on all my figures because of loose joints or they just don't stand up without problems sooner or later. Hope that helps👌😁
I'm guessing THE single Card Skeletor, I seen Leaks of a New Eternia Two Bad, Man e Faces, Stratos Coming..I'm also guessing a Faker of This He-man isn't Far off👍
Thanks for Checking out the Review. I really like This new Version of He-man. It feels like A Masterverse He-man should Feel and like. THE revalations Spikor and Fisto are Still Two of my Favorites in the line. They were done Perfectly👍
If you already have the 40th anniversary one. I wouldn't waist more money unless you wanted the plastic weapons and Art on that box. I only picked this one up to review on my Channel. I do like the plastic weapons because they are lighter in hand. But aside that. The SDCC has more stuff.
@@ThemanchlidThanks for your suggestion! I was debating about the plastic weapon being lighter and the plastic loin cloth being more durable; but yeah, I canceled my pre-order.
Thanks for Watching! Yes i can Totally see a Fakor in this 40th anniversary style body. It's a no brainer and an easy money making repaint if they decide to keep going with this 40th anniversary line which I think they will👍
Mine arrived thursday past and he makes masterverse He-man look like a cartoon character lol! Also didn't realize how yellow masterverse heman is until now. My 40th anniversary He is awesome and I couldn't be more satisfied with him😁😁😁 Great review Mc as always take care✨✨
Yeah I remember you saying you got yours coming from The Paulmart store. I just mine a couple of days ago. I made the review today and uploaded it early. I can't believe how Yellow the Revalation He-man skin is in the light. Not sure if that was a QC issue or made like that from day one. This New 40th Anniversary He-man is Awesome and looks like what a He-man should be in the Masterverse line. I'm so Glad you got one and really like it Jigsaw Nora. Thanks for Checking the video out and Sharing your comments on this He-man👌😁💯
@@Themanchlid As always you have my support Mc ..😃😃✨✨ But yeah He just feels better to me and looks a lot more manly than the first release. Lol! Really a beefy boy this time around I love his huge chest and the fact that he doesn't have heels on his boots! Lots of small differences between the 40th and the first release even the loincloth is a little bit smaller! Yep He is the He-man! It has that kind of origins or as you would say retro 80's vibe to it. I like this action figure a lot👍✨✨✨😃
@@jigsawnora3207 Thats what makes this He-man great I think! The Head Sculpt, Bigger Chest, loin cloth and new weapons. He is as vintage inspired as your gonna get but in the Masterverse style. The classics has there own designs that are great too. I hope the Masterverse line and Bodies for certain figures go in this direction with the vintage inspired Figures down the road👍😁
@@Themanchlid Agreed! I think production at mattel is gradually perfecting these characters per wave and these body bucks are better than the previous ones. Personally I think they utilize both so all the characters dont necessarily have so much of the same build .Well I have go now but take it easy and have a goodnight. And until next time✨✨✨
@@jigsawnora3207 I agree! It is cool to have different style looks and body designs for different characters! The Masterverse line is really getting good with each release! Have a great night! Until next time! Take Care👌😁💥
I was surprised to hear people didnt like this buck, my only criticism of it would be I think the neck is to thin, but other than that I think it looks great
Yeah it's hard to make everyone Happy. It all seems to come back to the classics which are Awesome! But they to have flaws when compared next to the Masterverse figures. I think that new He-man buck is great! The neck doesn't look that bad up close. They tried to make it look more realistic I think to a body builder. Not a thick neck 80s action figure.
Yeah I heard another comment saying the say thing. It depends on how much you pose or mess around with the figure over time. If you do photography for example and use this new He-man in the photos often. Then I can see the Flocking chipping over time. Flocking on these Mattel figures usually holds up good for a while.👍
An amazing figure! I can't wait to get it!! Although his face probably needs some extra colour to make it match with the body. ...but sadly the shipment of new MOTU figures to Europe seems to be a huge problem for Mattel, these last few months it's been a total disaster.
Thanks for Watching the video and sharing your comments..yeah the Face color is a little strange from the body. Otherwise it's a really good figure or at least a cool version of He-man for the Masterverse line. Yeah The Distribution is A mess or not Normal with the MOTU brands like The Origins and Masterverse lines. I get my stuff online. I can't find these in stores here or they never have the guys you want!
@@Themanchlid It’s weird how the Origins vehicles are available in this part of Europe without any delays, even before most of the world gets them. The distribution problem is with the MOTU figures. Other toy companies don’t seem to have serious distribution problems, Mattels distribution is just terrible, Thank you for making your videos!
@@darthchopper9016 Yes the Masters of the Universe distribution has been weird from day one. Even Mattel admits there's a problem with and Were some of the stuff shows up. They don't always control on when and how The stuff leave the factorys and what areas it turns up first. Some countries have rights on certain waves of Veichles or figures first with distribution. Its really strange how it's set up with that brand! Thanks for watching my videos and leaving the comments👍

I agree with your critiques of the older Masterverse buck, but do the wider pecs hinder forward arm movement? Do they make it a lot harder to bring his arms together?
Not Really! The figure has good articulation. I showed all the basic stuff in the review. Not every single pose because that will make the video way to long. It works well and even better then the classics He-man.
Great review! Do you prefer the flock or non flock version? I’m getting both but worried that the flocked version will eventually get ruined from my photography so may just keep him displayed or in the SDCC packaging.
Thanks for Stopping in ti Check the review out! I don't need the Flocked version. I would have been fine with just this He-man. Of course the SDCC packs comes with The Skeletor, Comics, Ring and Metal Weapons which are really Heavy in the Hands. But I prefer This Non Flocked Version personally.
Hey buddy I didn’t get the notification on this video I subscribed again that’s wierd I ordered 2 of those figures I think 🤔 the chest is a little to big but in hand maybe it looks good 👍 or better love the comparison review I like the new buck but classics just does it for me but thier still Ausome figures no doubt 😎👍💥

I like this he man better than the first release they gave him better paint aps the skin looks better the belt the boots but if you noticed in classic’s the belt has even more detail they used 2or three different colors and in the boots also and just overall more attention to detail I’m just saying they should have but a little more love to this figure since it is a 40 th anniversary piece ?💥👍
@@littlepowerhouse1023 Yeah if it was Classics. There would be more detail. Buy the classics were a thing for that time. We now line in a time we're you get less Paint details for a Higher cost. Your right on that my friend but like anything else some of thier pieces nowadays are amazing even for origins anyways love your reviews and your content my friend 😎👍💥💥💥
Yeah in certain light conditions the tan skin has a Orange tint. I think it might be the oils in the plastic under certain lights. The First Revelation He-man had a Yellow color too!
I didn't want this one because they display him with a dirty looking shading around the muscles on Amazon but now i see here that thats not the case apparently. I want it now
@blacksky3089 The body is clean, looking from what I see under my lights. The face has some kind of wash to it. Aside from that, everything else looks good with this He-man figure. Thanks for watching ✌️
Awesome review man! I look forward to this figure! Too bad the skin tone is different between the head and the body. I love how he fits on the Classics Battle Cat! I have extra Battle Cat's, so looking forward to that! When they do release the 40th anniversary Skeletor, I hope the articulation is in the head/mouth as well. The regular weapons are better for me too! ha ha Does the head for this He-Man fit on the Origins He-Man figure? If so, do the skin tones match? Too big or too small? Just curious.
Thanks for Watching the video. Yeah He fits great on the Classics Battle Cat. If they Release A single card Skeletor. I'm sure the Jaw will Articulate. The 40th Anniversary one does now. Yes The Head from the 40th Anniversary He-man does fit the Origins body. But again the pale face looks a little off from that Tan on the Origins body. I think The plastic Weapons are Better too because of the weight in the Hands👍
Yeah they vary with different paint colors and Issues. My sword was ok but I have gotten my fair share of best accessories. Thanks for watching and sharing your toy Hauls.👍
Great video! Thank you! It’s nice to see him in someone’s hands! Some prior pictures of this figure had such a dark brown painted “shadow-effect” around all muscles he looked terrible! Like someone used a brown Sharpie to outline all his muscles. Those pics made it a total “Nope!” for me, but if the retail version has just the slight paint wash for a *tiny* bit of extra “pop” but no “Sharpie Effect” at all, I’ll grab one! Question for anyone who knows: Where and when can he be ordered from? Or must we cross our fingers to find him in such unreliable places as Walmart? Thanks everyone! Until a few years ago I never dared imagine MOTU would make such a strong comeback with 3 main lines plus MegaConstrux (best “LEGO” sized figures ever made- LEGO totally got their butt kicked by a company they treated as a joke. I’m no LEGO hater, but MegaConstrux whips them like being jumped out of a gang!
Thanks for watching. Yeah in Hand Yhe He-man is really cool. I like the Wash and overall look. The early pics were strange looking. I think in Hand he is really well designed for the Masterverse line. He has that Vintage inspired look but yet all new look to fit in to the Masterverse line. I think he looks better then the first Revelation He-man. I provided a link on were he is in stock now👍
Glad to see its not too different past the flocking on the exclusive 2 pack. I do hope that the Skeletor comes out without the diecast too, that would be truly great. Thanks for the review!

Nice pick ups. Hopefully you like the new look. Many peoplecare very mixed on the design. I like it! Thanks for watching and sharing your Figure Hauls👍
Yeah the Color is off a bit. I think the head is a good size.bits the body and legs that are really big. Much better for a He-man. But at certain distances the proportions look strange.
Not my cup of tea. I find that masterverse can’t do he man’s head sculpt right. The chest looks weird as well. The whole reason why I skipped masterverse was the he man head sculpt from the first one announced. Just my opinion, I’m glad people like it and that we’re getting more masters of the universe figures.
In person I think it looks as good to the vintage as your gonna get. The only true Look would be the origins Vintage inspired head I showed. The classics even changed the design of the Vintage inspired head too. It's a hard balance to really get that head just right for the Adult collectors who wants that pure Nastalgia but A more modern sculpt without looking to silly or to simple like the 80s head now when compared to newer stuff. Yeah I'm glad many people are liking and supporting this line👍
@@Themanchlid I caved in and got one lol. Came to check out the review again. My wife bought it for me and I’m happy she did. I like it better now, you’re right, looks better in person.
@@TheWandifan Nice pick ups! It's definitely a cool Take on a Masterverse He-man. I'm glad you like it. That's really nice of your wife for picking that up for you. Its also cool you rewatched that review again! I too will rewatch certain RUclips videos on stuff I looked at then got and didn't want to take it out of box or just wanted to spark my interest before getting something from that review👍
He-man head/face here is kinda ugly . I use the Viking heman head with this buck to create the best looking heman on thr 40th anniversary 2 pack .I have the diecast metal weapon version wit the flocked garments but I was thinking of getting this just for the artwork on the back of the box
Thanks for checking the video out. I have gotten many mixed comments on this He-man. Some was about the likes or dislikes of the Buck or head sculpt. I like the vintage inspired Head for the Masterverse line. But the color is off from the body. That Viking He-man head works great on most of the He-man bodies. That's a the best solution I think for this He-man body if you don't like that head. Or there are different custom heads on ebay. They are hit or miss. The art is really cool for this figure for sure👍

@@85wastedyears Thats good to hear! I have been going through some Health and financial Challenges myself in the last Two months. Yeah The Snakemen and That Eternia will be a killer. I think Eternia will be a Crowd funding set. No price yet. It will be probably be a One month window to buy👍
@@Themanchlid My Neck has driving me crazy, but fortunately my financial stuff is in good standing. I'm sorry to hear that you are not doing too good. I know of course Eternia will be pricey, but I'm guessing still cheaper than putting together a vintage set from Ebay, lol. On a smaller scale, I still hope we still see Battle Bones in the future for Origins. (The first accessory/vehicle) I had for MOTU as a kid.
@@85wastedyears That sucks with your neck. I use a Tens unit when I go out on mine. The Muscles are in constant Spasm on my left side and back of my head. It is what it is! Yeah you are totally right about the Mattel Creations Eternia being Cheaper then a Vintage one one Ebay. They are Thousands of dollars. The Origins one will be a little bigger and designed better from what Mattel said. I hope you feel better soon👍
Nix "Classics" .1980 er He Man ist Classic.Das einzige, was gut ist.Man kann den berühmten Augenblick der Verwandlung nach spielen .Das wäre der einzige Grund, diese Figur zu kaufen! 😉
@@Themanchlid they might fix that on the 2nd run. Like they did with the dark torso on the New Eternia Beastman. 1st run had dark torso, RUclipsrs pointed it out, and Mattel fixed it on the 2nd run.
@@thatmanoverthere608 Good point! Yeah I remember seeing a couple reviews after my Masterverse beastman review on the Changes they made on the Second release. I originally thought they colored that body different like the 200x beastman looked with some different shades on the Torso in some figures. Almost like a Dirty look they were going for. Maybe it's just a QC issue or Variant.
Hmm just not feeling that new chest. It just looks too bloated to me. Almost looks like he has butt cheeks on his chest. I'd like to see Mattel come up with a middle ground between the scrawniness of the initial figure and the size we have with this but more defined and toned. I think ultimately masterverse was supposed to be a catch all line where many different looks could co-exist.
I hear a mix of comments between people who really like the New chest design and many who don't. I think it looks realistic to a body builder. But then again so does the classics. People who body build all look different. So I guess it's what type of body look you prefer to see in your vintage inspired He-man. I like the classics the best. But I like this new look over the original Revelation He-man chest. That looks way to small. Thanks for Watching and sharing your opinions and comments on this new He-man figure 👍
Selling the Main characters in variations is not a new concept with Masters of the universe. It's actually very common in many toy lines. The main popular characters Always sells the most. But the Masterverse is really going outside the box with more changes. Some people like them and others don't. Look at The Motu Origins Mattel creations He-man 4 pack on sale today. 150 dollars for four different Heman variants. Many people don't want it or spend that kind of money. I'm also gonna pass. And I like the different He-man and Skeletor variants!
Think I’m growing bored of the Masterverse pictures and I now know the big reason for it. I hate the packaging. Now if they did the packaging like this He-Man 40th , I probably would t be getting bored of it. It’s just extremely dull and blah . They should know by now, that we love all that vintage style art work. Then again, I’m beginning to not care for most of the head sculpts. Look at He-Man . He looks like he’s trying to hold in a shit attack.
Lol. A shit Attack! 🤣. Yeah I don't care for thr Revelation style art. I like The classics or Origins styles art too. The art on this 40th anniversary style He-man is Much better. The Masterverse line is kind of Mixing some of the Old school MOTU elements it that brand but yet doing its own thing. That's why there is also the Origins which is as Nastalgic as you can get or Classics on Ebay for insane amounts of money. Sometimes we get figures from the Masterverse that feels more old school like this He-man but also Changed a bit. Mattel can't win! Because if they made all the figures like the older Classics in this Masterverse style that many of us would really like. Many other people hate it.and say they want something new! And if they try to do something different like now! Many people hate it too! I know because I read and respond to all the comments to this stuff. Never mind what I read from comments on other reviews. So I guess just pick up the figures you like or try to stick with the classics or Origins. There is so many MOTU options out there now👍
@@Themanchlid agreee on just about everything and yeah it makes sense to not have the box art be too seimikat to the ongoing origins line. I gotta admit, from someone who probably has a good 90% or more of the classics collection, I didn’t think I’d find myself starting all over again with not just one but now two figure lines running at the same time. They’re great and all, but thing is.....I’m running out of room!
@@frankpetersen6624 Your Story sounds just like mine! I have 95 percent of the Classics line. I showed many of them in tours. We Like collecting MOTU stuff! Enough isn't Enough! When we own that many Classics. Why wouldn't we want to own more. The Classics had all kinds of Other figures and Veichles on the table. But the line ended before they got around to them. They even had The Eternia playset planned. It was gonna be Three Towers. One Tower piece a year was the plan from what I read. The Origins line has The Eternia playset coming this fall for a crowd funding plan. No prices yet! However I never Thought I would even collect any other MOTU Brands after all those Classics like you Mentioned. Now I have Just about everything from the Origins and Revalations or New Eternia lines. It mixes in well. Some stuff can work along side or even Share parts with the Classics. Other figures are doing it own thing. The classics was a perfect Modern update to the vintage line. But more realistic Sculpts and looks with cool accessories and paint apps. However they really gave us collectors that Vintage Nastalgic Feel. The Masterverse are simular but different. I like the articulation and Pinless joints better then the Classics. For those of us who grew up with the vintage figures and wanted something exactly like that but more Modern a realistic looking such as The Classics. We now have our eyes trained in those classics figures astehtics. Which are really perfect aside the cuts and big pins. The Masterverse looks are also really cool but completely different from the Classics. I think of it like watching wrestling or a body builder competition. All the Characters or people have different body types and muscle structures. Some have bigger chests, longer legs, big body with a small head. Small body with a big head and so on. Now understanding that I can accept and cross over both MOTU looks. As long as they are 6 to 7 inches like the Classics and Masterverse figures are👍
@@Themanchlid yeah no they’re great and all . Im pretty much saying I can’t fit that many more things lol. It’s gotten to the point where I have boxes of things in kitchen cabinets lol . @@frankpetersen6624 I Had a garage built for my Toy Collecting 20 years ago. That's were I do the reviews. I too have stuff Wall to Wall. Things in touts stored. Most of my Classics are in card. I some loose. Many of the bigger Classics things have been taken out. I just tookmy Classics Battle Cat out of card after years to use him for this review and to free up box space. I cut the cardboard art out and store it. I throw the clear packaging out. Yeah it Sucks! We want to keep it all. All the reviewing I have been doing in the last year just builds my figures faster and I take most of them out and throw the box away in recycling. I know your pain! Lol
Thanks for checking the video out. Yeah it's kind of some between a Revelation figure, DC figure and Classics. He is very Tall in the Legs. I don't mind this version of He-man for the Masterverse line. Then the Classics did its own thing for He-man and the figures that are perfect for that line. I guess it's all what you like or want to see in a He-man figure. We have many options now or can use parts to customize👍
Yeah I don't understand the deal with the heads. Both The single card and Sdcc versions are like that unfortunately. Aside that it's a cool He-man for the Masterverse line I think👍
Some people will just never be happy. That said, I like the new chest, but if this is supposed to be closer to the vintage He-Man proportions, his arms and legs should be bulkier too, and if I had to guess, that is what is tripping up a lot of people. The body proportion is off, so they're blaming the head or the chest or the limbs when it's really kind of all three. I don't think it's a real breaker or anything, and some of that is definitely learning to temper expectations. The funny thing to me, I like the Revelations He-Man, but he is not cartoon accurate at all. He was stupid huge in the cartoon, look at any still you like next to Teela or Man At Arms, everyone is buffed out in that cartoon, and He-Man stands out amongst them as being hugely muscled. If the figure were accurate to the animation, he'd be thicker than classic He-Man.
Yep well said! Some people are never Happy. I really like the New Chest design and head. It looks like Heman should look. At least in a modern Masterverse style. Yes The arms should be bigger like the Classics. But I think they did that because of the pinless joints to allow extra Articulation. I'm happy with this new He-man overall. It's better then the First Revelation one I think. Thanks for watching and sharing your comments👍
Yeah it's kind of strange. I look at it like battle damage or Sun Burn I guess because I like the other things with the figure. Super7 Conan was like that too.
My honest opinion the figure is not bad but there's no point of making his face a different color than the rest of his body it just don't look right doesn't make no sense this should have made the skin tone on his face the same as the rest of the skin tone on his body and it's very distracting and very annoying that they did that and I don't like it
Yeah it's a really cool Version of a Masterverse He-man but Has a couple of flaws. The skin color in the face is one of them. I don't understand what they were thinking. Even the SDCC He-man is the same way. Not sure if it's a QC issue or Thats how the body was originally gonna be Colored or the other way around and Something got changed in production. I can personally live with it because on the shelf you really dont notice it unless you look close under light👍Thanks for watching and sharing your comments👍
People are mixed on this figure. I personally think he is better then the first revalation He-man Release. They were going for that Vintage old school Look back to the 80s figure but in a Masterverse form. There is always Viking He-man which is really cool or the Classics which is very Expensive on Ebay now. What don't you like about that figure from your view?
@@tubetop123 I never collected Transformers. But very familiar with them and have had friends that do. Yes they make them like the older ones. Plus they break easy in certain joint areas when you are Transforming them. I also collect Neca Stuff. The older aliens a predator figures would get alot of broken pin joints because of cheaper plastics and the prices are going up too.
The packaging on this is beautiful, I just love the fact that these figures can actually hold the sword up the way it’s meant to be held up

To watch the review! It's great to hear you like the overall design of this He-man and decided to order one!👌
Thanks for the great review. I'm planning on getting the 40th Anniversary He-man, he is such a great figure, my opinion on collecting is the following: As long as you enjoy collecting, why shouldn't you do it. Thanks for watching and sharing Those comments! Yes I like the new look and design with this 40th anniversary He-man in the Masterverse style.

I think you will like him in hand if you want a modern He-man in a seven inch scale that is Nastalgic to the vintage or Origins He-man👍
I agree. Its starting to grow on me as well.
@@thatmanoverthere608 It's not a bad figure. Couple of things a little weird like the face color off a bit but ok.

Thanks for checking the video out👍
Fantastic review of the anniversary Heman !! Got mine on pre order and still haven’t gotten mine . Can’t wait ! He looks awesome !!
Should receive mine today. Can't wait. I love the Masterverse line. I've made some pretty cool custom barbarians/adventurers with them.
Glad to hear you got one coming and like this new Masterverse He-man design. I really like the Masterverse line and what direction the figures are going. Those customs sound really interesting. I like to customize a little bit too sometimes. It's fun what kind of things you can do with these figures👍
That's awesome they switched the joints on his right hand so you can get a proper transformation pose.
Yeah that's definitely important to let He-man pose the sword calling upon the power like in the filmation cartoon as a 40th anniversary figure.👍
Cheers to you too 👍
Love this review. Great job man. Especially enjoyed the Battlecat comparisons ag the end. Great idea. Cant wait for him to make his way over to NZ

Yes I can almost bet we will see a Single card release of Thec40th anniversary Skeletor sometime Next year👍
Wanted so badly this fig but never came in europe so sad thankyou for the great review hope we see a 40 skeletor too
Thanks for checking out the review on this He-man figure. Yeah, this figure was a real mix for many people here in the USA. Most of the complaints were because of the over size chest, which I thought looked cool on this He-man. I'm not sure if any places in Europe carried this He-man figure.
Happy 40th anniversary he man
Happy 40th Anniversary He-man to you too👍😁
Great review and comparisons! Can't wait to get this figure!
Still waiting on my pre order on this BBTS takes forever to get stuff
Yeah I don't preorder to many things from there. They take a long time. But have fair prices. I got this of the Paulmart toy store. He is still in stock. But more pricey then BBTS.
lol! I just noticed I have a couple the exact same black, rotating discs- perfect for toy displays and reviews!
Yeah they make a difference in Toy Reviews👍
Damn awesome ! I love that they toned down his body wash , on a side notestream tonight pop in if your free!
Yeah I really like this Masterverse He-man. I like the colors, New Buck and Head sculpt better then the revalation one. Ok I'll try to pop in. I'm out now on the road with wife.
Great review as always my friend. In the UK we seem to have had a real lack of new Masterverse figures recently... Still waiting on King Grayskull
Thanks for stopping in again my friend! Yeah even here in the USA these are hard to find sometimes. I ordered my figures from places online for more money unfortunately. It's the only way I can get new stuff early for reviews. Maybe look at Amazon prime global shipping. They get this stuff in stock too👍
Good job on the video; I'll have to pick this one up eventually.
Thanks for checking this video out too! Yeah I really like the way this Masterverse He-man came out. It's funny how many people don't like him. But more do. I also have The Masterverse Netflix Cgi He-man and Skeletor coming in soon. And The Masterverse New Eternia Battle Armored He-man and Jitsu on the way👍
He's also in the Geico commercial
I haven't seen that one.
Which one would be better this or the New Eternia version?
It depends what Your looking for in a Masterverse He-man figure! If you Want Vintage Nastalgia from the 80s but with a modern take and sculpt. Then this one. Iy you want Something different from a later time, More Reastic looking and more barbaric in style. Then the New Eternia Viking He-man is better.
I'm suppose to get them both we will see! Great video dude!
Nice bro! You will like them when you get them in hand
.thanks for stopping in👍
Hello friend.
Any hint whats next we will get?
We do have He-Man, Teela, and Beastman. Whats next? 😊
I'm guessing THE single Card Skeletor, I seen Leaks of a New Eternia Two Bad, Man e Faces, Stratos Coming..I'm also guessing a Faker of This He-man isn't Far off👍
Thats a very good figure of he man, fisto and spikor are very good as well in this line. Thanks for reviewing these figures.
Thanks for Checking out the Review. I really like This new Version of He-man. It feels like A Masterverse He-man should Feel and like. THE revalations Spikor and Fisto are Still Two of my Favorites in the line. They were done Perfectly👍
Still debating whether I should get this 40th anniversary version now that I have the SDCC version already.....
@@Recoverel No problem! Yeah that's a good choice. You Honesty get more in The SDCC pack.
Good review! I wonder whether they'll come out with a vintage inspired faker now
Thanks for Watching!
Thanks for Checking the video out and Sharing your comments on this He-man👌😁💯
@@Themanchlid As always you have my support Mc ..😃😃✨✨
But yeah He just feels better to me and looks a lot more manly than the first release.
Nice! I think it’s his shoulder muscles that are a little small for his chest but still cool
Yeah the Bi cept muscles are under cut because of the pinless joint articulation. So it makes the Arms not looka huge I think.
I cant wait to get mine that I ordered
Thanks for checking the out. Hopefully you get your order in soon👍
They should release a 40th anniversary battlecat
I can Totally see That down The road with 40th Anniversary Panthor and Faker to Start after they Release a single card skeletor.
Awesome figure I have the sdcc version but I want this one more too scared with the flock
Other toy companies don’t seem to have serious distribution problems, Mattels distribution is just terrible,
Thank you for making your videos!
Just got one for ten bucks surprised how much better it is in hand alot better than the first one to me
That's a great pick-up and price! Yeah, he's not that bad. I think it's a well designed vintage inspired He-man for the Masterverse line. I'm glad you like it👍
I need this it's too cool for me it's my perfect he man and 2nd is motu origins with classic head
Thanks for watching! Yeah I said the sane thing When I got the SDCC He-man. What a perfect Modernized He-man for the Masterverse line. The Colors, Buck and Head sculpt is Awesome! Just like the Motu Origins He-man like you Mentioned👍

@@Themanchlid yeah same man what's your favorite mk though for me it's umk3 out of the trilogy
Awesome review 😎🤙
Thanks for checking it out and leaving your feedback! I think it's a really cool He-man!👍
Hey buddy I didn’t get the notification on this video I subscribed again that’s wierd I ordered 2 of those figures I think 🤔 the chest is a little to big but in hand maybe it looks good 👍 or better love the comparison review I like the new buck but classics just does it for me but thier still Ausome figures no doubt 😎👍💥
No Problem! That happens to me too. Yeah I like the new Design. The chest really stands out. Different I guess. It looks more like the He-man chest from the show I think. Thanks for checking the video out and Sharing your comments on this new He-man bud👍
He Man looks kinda Orange....mine didnt really show. until I saw the light reflection from ur review.
Mondo head looks proper
Yeah the Modo Head is perfect to the Vintage He-man but in a big scale.
Where did you get this? Just in case I missed it if you said it
paulmartstore.com/collections/masters-of-the-universe-motu-figures/products/2022-motu-masters-of-the-universe-40th-anniversary-he-man-heman
I got him from this place!
The regular weapons are better for me too! ha ha
Does the head for this He-Man fit on the Origins He-Man figure? If so, do the skin tones match? Too big or too small? Just curious.
Thanks for Watching the video. Yeah He fits great on the Classics Battle Cat. If they Release A single card Skeletor. I'm sure the Jaw will Articulate. The 40th Anniversary one does now. Yes The Head from the 40th Anniversary He-man does fit the Origins body. But again the pale face looks a little off from that Tan on the Origins body. I think The plastic Weapons are Better too because of the weight in the Hands👍
The problem is that they increased the chest but didn’t increase the arm size it makes his arms look really wimpy in comparison.
I wish the arms were more like the Classics Too. I agree with that part! They just left it as the Masterverse style arms unfortunately.
Mines head has tint so it matches and the joint isn't loose. Only bad thing about mine is how bent my sword is.
Yeah they vary with different paint colors and Issues. My sword was ok but I have gotten my fair share of best accessories. Thanks for watching and sharing your toy Hauls.👍
Solid figure for folks that didn’t get the 40th Anniversary :-)
I definitely think so! I really like this Masterverse style He-man. It's cool to have a single card version out👍
Great video!

The head is meh… not feeling it.
Little on the small side and different shade than the body.

@kingklank6732 Thank you! I'm happy to hear you got something good out of it!👍
Not my cup of tea.

No it's all part the the sculpt and belt like all the other figures from what I can see.
Is it me but the head looks a bit too small for the body like an origins head on a masterverse body.
Bigger body. The head us smaller compared to the vintage. Some of the portions are strange in this He-man. But still a cool Masterverse figure.

@@Sctvita 👍
His face looks like the character from the cartoon primal. LOL
It's the vintage figure inspired face sculpt. So yeah it will have a cartoon appearance/ 80s Toy resemblance.
Like we really need yet another version of He-Man......this is just another cash grab for Mattel ...
Luckily cooking isn’t my forte! And I like to keep everything in their boxes. I just don’t have the room to do any kind of a setup unfortunately .
Lol
Great review but the figure is horrendus. Those proportions OMG looks like a dc figure from Mcfarlane.
The head looks aweful and doesnt blend with the body. I saw this as soon as i saw it at Target
Makes him look like a bad tan in a bottle job...crappy
Just bought the Metaverse He Man! This is not good, the beginning of a long line of purchases...RIP my wallet
@@Themanchlid I didn't buy the 40th anniversary one.
@@tubetop123 Oh I got you! The first one. Yes this toy line and the figures really hits the wallet hard.
@@Themanchlid I was collecting Transformers but left because their plastics got cheaper and cheaper in quality. Not worth $70+
Masterverse is way better
Mastersverse is getting really good!👌
i didnt liked the chest its looks like ballons, and the head its just wierd
Some people didn't. That's cool. I don't like the Revalation Chest look personally. It looks So small a weak I Think for some Characters.
Wow definitely glad I canceled this!!😱
Well glad my review helped with you decision on this He-man. It's not for everyone I guess👍
No se como le haces para tener esas figuras antes que muchos, pero creeme que tus reseñas son muy muy aburridas.... lastima! saludos!
Thanks for watching! I think He is a decent looking He-man for The Masterverse line. He should making his way to retailers in the USA soon.
