Did anyone notice that in the initial part of the interview Bharati was constantly trying to throw shade at Moushumi but it didn't affect her. She swiftly earned her respect as the interview progressed just by being herself. 😄 Beautiful! What an amazing soul the way she still celebrates her daughter's life. Inspiring. Not surprised to hear what a misogynistic man Gulzar has always been. The way he stopped Rakhee from acting after marriage and made her life hell while having affairs on the side and the way he ill-treated new mother Moushmi to kick her out of Koshish are just a couple of hundreds of stories about his arrogance and misogyny. His loss as he always led a sad empty life while Moushmi mam sounds like a happy, content and such a joy!

I loved watching this interview. Moushumi was frank in the interview. She made it very clear that she has great respect for farmers, soldiers, P M Modi and Ratan Tata because she believes in them. She loves her husband but is very candid that she wouldn’t want him as her husband in her next life.She is honest that she didn’t want ambitious. She is also very frank about how bring the daughter in law of Hemant Kumar kept the predators away. She didn’t sugarcoat anything. She adores/adored her children and the loss of her daughter has devastated her and the entire family. May God give her and her family all the strength in these difficult times.

I was never her fan but now I am. I never knew that she was such honest, unapologetic and gutsy person. What’s in her heart is in her words. No pretence. I believe some of it is due to her inborn nature but mostly due to the security of growing in a powerful filmi family which protected her from the predators of film industry. Everyone is not that lucky. Her brutal honesty would have left her isolated with no industry friends if she was an outsider like Kangana or Sushant Singh Rajput. Film industry is full of such examples.
