- Guerlain L'homme Ideal EDP | FIRST IMPRESSION. This is my first impression on the amazing fragrance that is Guerlain L'homme Ideal EDP. Guerlain L'Homme Ideal EDP was released in 2014. And is catagorized as an Oriental Woody fragrance.

My signature scent. Absolute compliment monster. Every woman that catches a whiff of this falls in love with it.
I agree 100%. I wore this a few months back when it was cold and snowing outside. The notes came to life so nice in the cold weather!

It’s my favorite in my like 50 fragrance collection! Bought it in 2016, had like 5 ml left and haven’t used it for like a year. So i bought my second bottle this week! 👌🏻 It’s sooo f*ing amazing! 💪🏼
It is so mindblowingly good. It gets even better after 2h, when the cherry calms down and lets the leather and vanilla through.
I haven't worn this one in so long. I need to rick this one soon

to anyone wondering about the smell. In my opinion...it didnt blow me away. I am in cali, it was 84 degrees today, pretty dry out. It smelled kind of mature, sweet, like cherry incense, It is unique because it dove straight into the dry down after like 3 minutes. It smells like a fancy fragrance for sure, but i dont get much vanilla or almond at all. Right now, its been around an hour on, and i smell a little more vanilla than before, incense calmed down a little bit and you get a little tonka vibe going, very light tonka still more incense than tonka. It is kind of like a twisted YSL la nuit de l'homme EDP that got hit by a burning sugary vanilla cherry incense. Once it sits with you awhile the incense dies down and it really starts to smell like the base has blended over the mid and it smells nicer than it did before. It will probably grow on me. If that sounds up your alley, Its worth it, you wont be able to find them soon enough and like Dapper said, it is always sold out.
I sold mine in my honest opinion it's another overhyped Fragrance

Yeah, that stuff is good. Bought the gift set with no hesitation after a sample. Next up is Instant crush. Sprayed it on my mail yesterday for testing. Just once. Still getting good whiffs of it from 3 feet away lol

Hi there from Greece.. It's a very good, well put together, sophisticated and elegant perfume.. Guerlain is a house older than Chanel and Dior in France.. The quality and the scent is considered niche quality at a designer price.. Very VFM and a scent that sets you apart from 99% of the people you ll be around..

My story is: bought the EDT in the airport because I dig the amber leather smell. Told a friend about it, he said you should try out EDP is way better. I blind bought it a couple weeks after. So when I received EdP in the mail I opened the bottle and got the same reaction as you sir. I said holy shit. So I gave my father the unused EDT and bought a back up bottle of EDP. I’m gonna make it my signature scent.
Is a great transicional scent, from evening/night and fall winter spring fragrance. Could also wear it in a cool humid summer night now that global warming has made whether all crazy.

Thats my top1 fragrance right now, and Givenchy Gentleman EDP is in the 2nd place. I would say Guerlain Lhome Ideal EDP would be an alternative to something like Dior Homme Intense but with cherry added (and that makes it even better).
I love both of those fragrances. This one is one of my cold weather must haves

Thank you! I really appreciate you taking the time to comment and show love! I love D & G the one EDP but for me it lacks performance. The scent is pretty much gone in a few hours off of my skin it seems like. This fragrance on the other hand is a BEAST. Very good performance

That's super encouraging to hear, cuz having just bought this as my second all time scent in the sweltering summer, I was just slightly bummed on performance. Then again, my first scent is this nuclear bomb aromatic fougère from Givenchy, so I guess there's nowhere to go but down. 😄

I feel like it doesn’t really smell.. like others .. it might be very subtle.. or is not meant to.. I was expecting more like when u spray the @stronger with u @ which u can smell it on u all day

I had this fragrance for over a year. By the way: I am german. I have ordered this online and I was dissapointed the first month. Why? Cos I thought this was a light frag. I bought this in the wintertime and after a while I smelled more and more of it. So my nose "tricked" me for some time.
But now I an super happy with it.

For a second it reminds me of la nuit d’lhomme bc of the lavender and spices. But it goes a different direction quickly. Soooo good

Honestly I think you're good with what you have. In my opinion people make too big of a deal about batch code. I'd say bust that baby open and enjoy it!!

@@DevsScents Hey, man. I took your advice and I kept it, and I'm really glad I did so... This batch is AMAZING. Even better than the sample I've bought to know the scent. More rich and balanced. And it lasted almost 3 hours longer than the sample. On fu***** cloud nine over here!!

This is the only bottle I've ever owned. But I will say it performs very well off of my skin. Great projection for the first 2 hours. And 6 to 8 hours on my skin in general.

This stuff seems to always be sold out. And the price seems to be creeping up constantly. You can probably find it on Ebay. But unfortunately it's gonna be expensive. Finding this stuff can be super frustrating. It took me a while

This stuff is so good in the cold weather! Its 105 degrees right now where I'm at. But this fall/winter ill be back to wearing the hell outta it haha

This juice is an absolute winter date masterpiece! I haven't found anything else in its category. Intoxicating is right. Smells like oranges, cherries, almonds and very very subtle smoke and a pinch of cinnamon/spice? It's like being in front of a cracking winter fireplace during a snowstorm & sipping a boozy chai drink while eating Christmas cherry almond cake. Don't buy into the EDP extreme hype- its AWFUL and medicinal. The original EDP is a complete staple to me. No Ideal flanker will top this one. It's ALMOST a female fragrance but the base saves it from emasculation.
