The retaining wall turned out awesome! I think the owner wanting to run it all the way to the house was the best decision. It really changed the landscape and certainly provided a solid level area for the garage as well as additional parking. Being able to walk down the wall to the deck is a nice touch as well! The best part is they saved money by using what he had on his properties.

18:40 That's a real good shot of that big rock. Someone needs to make it a scenic stop for kids. Definitely looks like Pride Rock from the Lion King! Mother Nature works in mysterious ways. She also provides what we need and definitely provided for the retaining wall and a new pad for the garage!

Landscape rock as we call it here in Arkansas that we had to go to the mountains to get , sell really well and are hard to place with an old winch truck we had . Having rock across the road sure saved the home owner a lot of money and the finished project looks great especially with the Foreman's supervision . Concrete steps will be more uniform and safer and easy to form and pour . Don't forget a handrail .

I don't need a retaining wall, but I would certainly let you put one in my yard. It would be eye pleasing. You really do good work. It has to be a little frustrating putting those walls up. The time it takes to dig through and place and move and place again all those rocks is just so time consuming. The end result is always beautiful, but you know a lot of work goes into making them. Thanks for sharing. It was a fun time.

That grade and slope is just perfect for that spot. Right on DP. The owner still has access to the river and rain water should roll off the left side as well. Perfect height with the foundation. Nice work!!!
