I've heard that PJ Powers has great stage presence. I remember reading the story about a concert at Bhisho Stadium where Brenda Fassie pitched up drunk and forgetting lyrics, PJ Powers took over and saved the day. She is one musician who is loved by South Africans across racial lines.

This song was banned by the Apartheid government as it "contravened" some laws, including the Group Areas Act and the Morality Act. The duo had to compromise some words in the lyrics so that it could be played on the SAUK/ SABC radio and television stations.

One of the many reasons I never experienced apartheid and heard about it later. Evrrything seemed normal and we used to enjoy going to Joburg and Pretoria Zoo and Sterkfontein caves. All my pictures as a child don't show the suffering I am seeing since we got 'freedom'.
