I don't have Carlisle and I never smelled before but I have it's clone called it's Cassius from Maison Alhambra (Lattafa). They share most of the notes. The one I own smells really good. I love it.

Ideal EDP has not been reformulated officially. I own several bottles (6 to be honest), and they all smell and perform the same BUT they all have gotten better and better as they sit on the shelf. It’s one of those perfumes that she’s very well in the bottle like a fine bottle of brandy or cognac.
Mind you I haven’t smelled the black cap batches.
Where can I buy stronger with you intensely in the U.S since it’s discontinued? I also subbed and am a big fan!

A fantastic clone of Grand Soir that somehow is $25 is Fragrance Worlds Ambre Eve . If you can afford Grand Soir, more power to you , but if you can buy a clone that in the air , most people will not be able to tell the difference , why spend almost $200 more ?
