This interview could have went on for hours and hours. It was so refreshing to hear him talk about his music and the interviewer asked such great questions MJ Is The Greatest Music Artist To Ever Live The King Of Music Forever! He Was Such A Genius🙇🏽♂️🙌🏽👑🖤💕💫💯(And Yes this was in the Invincible Era very off the cuff interview you can see his TV Guide photoshoot as well I’m guessing this was after taking photos all day they decided to interview MJ and he agreed to it also this reaired on MTV after MJ’s passing exclusively but this is his 1999 TV Guide Interview)
He almost looks quite nervous, maybe anticipating an unwanted question or something? But with MJ be was such a humble man. Any excuse to name drop people that helped his vision or inspired him whilst always cancelling out his own unique talents. You don't really see this kind of politeness And engagement of the interviewer either these days. Much missed.
I remember watching Mjs videos as a child and just thinking they was actually films...it wasn't just a music video to me! He is a genius how he made his music videos into short films...If Micheal was with us today I genuinely think he would have been a film director and created Oscar winning films. Bless his soul. 🥀
I am glad I watched this interview with you,because I always wach it alone, like everything about Michael. I love this interview and I come to see.it from time to time. It's wonderful to hear Michael talking about his music and his short films and I like how he explained what he was thinking of when he did the black panter dance,he is great,nobody did that kind of thing, till to this day. Another interview where he speaks about his music and his fans and many other things is the interview with get music. I learned many wonderful things about Michael. I am sorry to say that because Michael was going thru so much pain in many ways ,but I love to see his Mexico deposition because there he really explains his wonderful creative process and I am amazed about how he managed to be so calm and polite ,about the way he kept his composure with everything that was going on, it's amazing. Thank you,all the best.

Did you know Rock With You wasnt for Michael Rod Temperton the writer, got denied by three people because they didn't like the kind of song they was singing. Michael being nice as he always is knew Disco was the best thing at the time. Michael then sung it for Rod and Quincy and it became the second song on off the wall.

This is my first time watching this. nice Interview. the mic was kind of low you really couldn't hear the interviewer and Michael but it good. he didn't have alot of interviews like this sadly.
Another great video. I remember getting the printed version in reader's digest I believe. I'm like I gotta have that especially anticipation of a new album which was eventually invincible

I want to make one last comment mjfangirl for this I have to say this is so amazing the wise because you watch things sometimes that I have never seen before so it's so interesting of course I've seen this interview you before but this one I've seen before but I think it's so interesting watching you do reactions because some things sometimes you play things that I have never even seen like when you play the concert the history tour one time for Copenhagen and believe it or not I have actually never seen that show
Michael was so timid and vulnerable. On one hand, that made him very relatable...but on the other, it just made him a very easy target. People manipulated him for their own gain, and he was so isolated that he didn't know how to stop them.
