Hey Kevin. It's hard to say - I really LOVE the TA07 overall, but think the TA08 can be the faster car. However, the TA08 has some handling issues in higher traction situations with the lack of a top deck. At Cal, either one will be a good choice for something like USGT or VTA, however I might lean more towards the 07 in anything with a 17.5T motor.
Honestly, we don't deal with EFRA here in the states - it's more of a European thing. You could hit up the EFRA website (efra.ws) and check out their rule set as to what bodies they allow.
Great video. What is the weight of this car without electronics?? I can't find that spec anywhere on the tamiya site. I can't find a manual to download either. Thanks
The yellow shock oil from Tamiya is 400cst, and it’s the absolute best stuff for low to medium grip surfaces 😊
Ya, says right on the bottle lol. Just have to look. Thanks for updating on that.
This thing is pretty sweet! Good for tamiya to bring something new to the market.
Agreed. Interesting design to say the least, but happy that it actually works quite well!
@@Competitionx Cant wait for the running footage. Iam still really liking my Carten T410r at the track though.. Fun shaft driven car for sure.
I did not know that you did a a video of this too like a friend.
That clear bottle of diff fluid looks like the same thick fluid with the M07R. Looks like a fun build!
Turns out it's 100K weight fluid for the front diff. Rear is 3K. Will be starting off with this even though I think I'll want thicker in the front.
Gotta build one of these, my last build is my TA04 Audi. Love it but parts are impossible to find. Really liking this chassis over the 07
Ya, this is a really cool chassis. A bit flexy, but I've found a few bits to help control that. Really enjoying this car!
Those inserts in the bumper to probably to make more downforce or less downforce.
That's what I think they're for, although I'm not entirely sure how. We'll be testing this for sure!
Great kit!
Looks to be so far...
So Yony what do you think TA07 or TA08. I'm about to pull the trigger on one of them.

I'm looking at getting this chassis what type of efra class body shell would I need as I want to take it racing ?

It weighed in at lightweight 571g! With the radio gear, wheels, tires, motor, etc - 1235g.
what body is that purple one
Tamiya Raikiri. Actually works really good!
What is the release date?
Expected around June 28.
can you upload the instruction manual?
Sure - I'll have it up by the end of the weekend.
