I remember, almost 24 years ago, used to play Spirit in a local shop, and had for long time the record... when the 3 balls fall at the same time to the game it was pure adrenaline... from far the best pinball machine (and the heaviest) I ever played. Great to remember.
The late 70s thru the early 80s was when I was in my prime for haunting the local mall arcade. I must admit I played mostly video games and wasn't partial to the pinball games. I do remember playing FUNHOUSE and it was cool to see some of its workings in the commercial. I can't remember ever seeing SPRIT but I have to say it is one of the coolest machines I have ever seen. Thanks for sharing this!
Thanks for the info Todd it seems like a extremely cool machine and its now# 1 on my wish list. I did buy the xenon. Thanks for putting out these videos they are very interesting. Hope to see more.
hardly seen ? i had that backglass on my wall for years ! ( my parents both worked for Gottlieb until they closed the doors in Northlake and moved to Bensenville to become Premier Technology. another blast from the past , great memories
This machine back th n sold for $1000 and was the last one I personally owned (only had 2). Nowadays, I would figure $2000 to $2500 to a collector. The Xenon sounds like a great deal!
That question would be great in a seminar at the Pinball RExpo in Chicago! I am sure there are folks out there that still know some neat tidbits about Gottlieb sounds! Other great sound effects can be found in Robowars and TX Sector!
Hey Todd, how long has it been since you have had one of these and how much are they going for? I am not going to buy but just interested. Thanks a lot. P.S is a Xenon that was only used in home and works worth the $850 the guy was asking? Thanks a lot.

This series of vids was recommended on the main German pinball forum today, so I checked them out. They are great. Thanks!

If you simply do a search here on youtube for "Robowars TNT Amusements" you can find our Understanding Pinball video we made for this game!
