The first thing Gandalf would say when seeing the pinball up close: Run, you fools! Good thing you're the white Chris, because you'll need all your magic on this project!
You should be able to get the spinning speed spot on a with a motor and some voltage adjustment from Servo City. Let me know if you want to chat about it.
One asks, why Chris where does all this moisture come from. In most cases it's drinks spilled down the front of the playfield glass. I have yet to find a classic that doesn't have 3-10 drinks spilled inside it. Then these aren't really stored well. Damn garages. On bare earthen ground. You name it. It's so sad. People horde these things and just let them rot into the ground. Those types need a good thump. If you aren't going to do something with it. Sell it. It's not appreciating in value.
Most of the time it’s one of two things. Environments some ore more humid than others and the other is shipping containers. Many games would spend months or years in shipping containers as they worked to get them full of bough to justify transit. The first ones in suffered the most.
Hats off to you sir bringing back old machines so everyone can experience the fun.
Really looking forward to this one’s. Your videos are a highlight of my week. Your work is absolutely amazing 👍 thank you very much for sharing these.
That’s great to hear. There is at least one other person besides my wife looking forward to these !
Thanks for getting in deep with these Gottliebs .
Absolutely inspiring or insane to take these on.
I learn a lot with your videos but…good luck with this one
I worked with Jeff to get the William's Phoenix stencils made. Jeff is the absolute bomb.
This is gonna be awesome. Can’t wait to see your magic happen.

You would think that with the current cnc technology, re-creating these cabinets would be easier? Looking forward to the long series!
I think the cnc takes them but so far and the real problems start with how observant the person is both programing it and doing the blueprinting.
@@highendpinsthere's only one guy I would trust with a replica cabinet, and that's KW in Ohio.

I can just feel your dread of the initial look. Because that's just the tip of that turdberg. I've got a spy hunter for you...😅
It’s rough sometimes seeing what you have to work with for the first time.

I am relieved to know it wasn’t just me.
Nice from a far, but far from nice!
Je suis le premier on dirait. Personne ?
Yes. I think I didn’t quite know what the premier thing does.
Good to figure it out though.
