We had that scheduled, but something came up. Some places won't allow locals to rent. We'll check to see if they do. Other than that, we'll have to do a walk around like we did for our 8 best hotels. Here's a link if you haven't seen it. ruclips.net/video/5_Bh9kFX-fc/видео.html
ive been waiting for this since the last one you posted lol!! the comments are priceless and sad that they are true. nothing beats lasts years comments about the bed spread was like a crime scene with blood. thanks for posting i hope other viewers see this and avoid the nice places. thanks for posting.!! Yes, these comments were a little tamer than last time. lol. I was waiting for someone to say there was a chalk line drawing of a person on the sidewalk - but no one did. lol
Hi y'all, my family and I love watching your videos. I was wondering if you would do a tour of Ocean Lakes Family Campground? It's a wonderful place my family and I go to on our vacation. I feel like a lot of people are missing out on an amazing experience.
Yes we were discussing that the other day. We're trying to put something together and we will try to get it out soon. Thank you for the suggestion and keep the suggestions coming.
Another great and informative video! You mentioned Mr. Myrtle of Myrtle Beach Vibes. He hasn’t posted a video in a long time, do you know if he’s doing okay?
Not sure. We didn't know him, only watched his videos. He just stopped posting. Another person asked and we sent them to Retro Myrtle Beach Guy - he knows lots of folks in MB. He may have heard something, but not sure. Thanks for the kind remarks. We're glad you liked the video.
Thanks for the video guys love the content as usual but 1. Them folks gotta be lieing about Bermuda sands it’s good for the price. Just stayed this past weekend loved it. Had no issues room was super clean nice staff to the only negative was hot tub button was broke. 2. Polynesian I can agree with 3. Never stayed 4. Never stayed 5. Never stayed
Yes, Bunny B was shocked too because we used to stay there, and it was nice back then too. Glad you had a great time. Thanks for the comments on each place. Hopefully, they are cleaning up the bad ones. Thanks again.
#5) I can't Believe Bermuda Sands is on here. I love Bermuda Sands. My girl and I stay there in September this of year. We rented at The eagles Nest annex and loved it. But the parking did suck. We had to park across the street. Only problem we had was the sprinkle system that turning on every night right by our ocean view door. It sent water into our room. But when I ask them to turn it off, They said the City controlled it. But I noticed it didn't come on again.
Yes, we used to stay at Bermuda Sands when the kids were little. Loved it then. We could grill on those outside stations where the boardwalk is now. Oh, how the times have changed.
I laughed when you said they had a fabulous time.😂Have y’all ever heard of the Lazy G? When I was a kid my family stayed there because it was affordable. It was kind of rough, but I remember having fun in the pool. I think it was torn down or replaced. Myrtle was my favorite place to go on vacation. We’re going to Pawleys Island for the 1st time next month. Do y’all like it? I love y’all’s videos! Makes me smile.😄
I don't remember the Lazy G. Sorry. But if you like a little laid back atmosphere, then Pawley's Island is the spot for you. There are a few nice restaurants there like Franks. And next week, we're posting a restaurant from there called the PIT "Pawley's Island Tavern". We ate there last week, and I'm just behind on my editing. Try that one out if you get a chance. Thanks for watching and supporting the channel.
@@BeachinwiththeBoones Thank y’all so much! We’re taking our toddler son & baby boy there & think they will enjoy it! We’ll have to check out those restaurants. The beach is my happy place & it’s long overdue by 2 years. Watching y’all’s videos makes me feel good & is like getting to visit the beach often. The Pavilion was so fun as a kid. I miss those days! Y’all are awesome!🏝
From 1989 until 2007 I stayed at the Lazy G. Then the next year I called down to make reservations and they told me that they didn't make reservations there because they had too many drug dealers in the neighborhood
Yes, some of these didn't look too bad when we were filming them. Not sure if they have improved since the people left the reviews, or if it was just a bad experience just for the vacationers. Thanks for letting other know, just in case they are wanting to stay there.
We are staying at the Hilton doubletree on myrtle beach 🏖 I am really enjoying this place and absolutely love this beach 🏝 my only complaint is the trash they don’t pick up on the Hilton grounds (the beach patrol does a good job every morning). Hilton needs to take more pride in some things and have their hired help step up instead of sitting their fixed on their iPhones, not even acknowledging the paying guests of the resort.
We haven't been there since the Hilton bought it. Looks pretty nice, though. Yes, more places around here should do a better job with the trash. Thanks for watching and commenting.
We stayed in an Extended Stay Orlando which advertises as the typical, full-service suite that other ES's have, but THIS one? Basically a glorified homeless shelter. We slept with our clothes on, checked out the next day (they didn't charge us for that night because....they knew...) and checked into the suites at the Hilton, where we took 20 minute showers and laundered our clothes from the night before!
@@BeachinwiththeBoones That's just it - I originally reserved based upon positive reviews. Had just one person factually stated "glorified homeless shelter," I would have stayed elsewhere, but the people at the front desk are so nice, you don't want to slam them with a bad review since they may be out of a job!
OMG Bermuda Sands made the list...It was our Family Goto Hotel for years. I was last there in Dec.2020 for new years. t was still a nice place then. I see the Polynesian is still here. My wife and stayed there one winter. It wasn't bad but it wasn't good either. I never wanted to go and buy a firearm so bad. But I did carry my Baton stick everytime we stepped out. Their toilets seemed to have been refurbished from an old elementary school. The lower parking deck that was closest to our room was always flooded. But the staff was friendly. One deck worker said they were about to under new management and improvement were to be made. That was in 2017. Most important is that everyone had a good time. 🤣🤣🤣
Yep. We stayed at Bermuda Sands for New Years back in 2003. We grilled out behind the building before they rebuilt the boardwalk. It was nice and fun back then. Not sure why it made the list this year.
@@BeachinwiththeBoones I miss those grills. We were there in Labor Day weekend 2005. The Admiral Inn lost power . so they set us up at Bermuda . It became our MB Vacation place. Keep Beachin'
@1:30....OMG, Not Bermuda Sands?. It must have really, really gone down. I been thinking or repost out stay there back in 2005 on my other channel. Why are these Owners not taking care of these places? These anchor used to be real nice . I'm surprised the MB Health department hasn't condemned these places. Too bad the Sun Villa isn't still around. Yall'd have a ball with it. Even through the building itself was nice, The Roaches were very numerous inside and out. We would stop at a laundromat before going house. Then look into the washer and there four to five palmetto bugs in it.
Wow, the Sun Villa sounds bad. And yes, we used to stay often at Bermuda Sands when the kids were small. We'd cook marsh mellows on the outside grills where the boardwalk is now. It's a lot different now a days. Thanks for watching.
The first clue that they were bad was the under $100 per night price. $200 + , you are usually ok. And I always stick with chains like Hilton or Holiday Inn. Always check reviews first.

Thank you very much. Yes you are right, they are in most resort areas. That's why we tell people to read the reviews. We wish there were laws and rules that they would abide by. Thanks again.

You go cheap just expect this in a hotel or motel or whatever you want to call it. Been by these places before and never read a review. The outside kinda of speaks for itself
No surprises here. Anything south of the old pavilion is questionable. There are a few nice ones but overall that whole area is, well to be nice, lets just say, not good...
Yeah, it's like they look exactly the same as in the 60's and haven't changed. I'm sure back then they were the cream of the crop, but if you don't update and modernize, then you fall onto someone's 5 worst list. lol

I found out a couple of weeks ago that Bar Harbor is in with Oceans One now.
Bar Harbor for the price is neat , clean , and walking distance to attractions. Also, it has ocean front balcony rooms with two swimming pools
