Time to grab my coffee and watch 😊 I have seen plenty of Van Lifer RUclipsrs, use disinfectant wipes to clean their dishes. I also seen them user. Personal mixtures like vinegar and water. One of them used a little bit of soap Maybe Dawn or something eco-friendly and water mixture in a spray bottle to clean their dishes. They all say all those methods work. I love watching you and others, makes me want to go camping. Have a beautiful day, you are doing great. I did look it up later and found out that at least the specific brand of disinfecting wipes that I’m using is safe for food prep surfaces and even pacifiers for babies!! So I think I’m safe haha Once I have an actual sink in the van I should be able to wash dishes normally haha Thank you for the support I really appreciate it so much and I hope you can have some time to do some camping for yourself, it is good for the soul! :)

I’m not native lol. I get that a lot now that I live in South Dakota and when I had long hair that didn’t help🤣 I have met quite a few native Americans since moving to SD and even they think I am!!
Sometimes I get a little crazy when I do short roadtrips haha I feel like I have to get the most out of it so I sleep less but normally when I’m living full-time out of the van I do sleep a good 8-10 hours per day
Sorry to hear that :( I’ve also had food poisoning before but I figured that the van gets cold enough (30-40° F) at night so leaving food out for a few hours shouldn’t hurt me. Thank you for your concern :)
50% vinegar 50% water in spray bottle to wash your dishes. Stay warm bro!

I'd still go with soap and hot water for raw chicken.
My mom uses something like this for cleaning sometimes but omg do I hate the smell of vinegar😂🤷🏽♂️

yikes!! I can't do heat yet I need to get myself a portable AC for my van for the summers but I do want to make it down to Florida eventually!

It’s definitely cold enough in the van for food to not go bad. Wash dishes however you can! When camping, do what you gotta do. Stay safe!
