Her revamp is about to come, I played ruby for 2 years non stop and I know clearly that she only needs to buff her base stats and stats growth. Due to the age of “all in one heroes” which means every hero has CC, slowdown, blink, burst and tanky hp, ruby’s base stats is not that strong anymore and it fell out of the league, and if moonton here are going to change her skill it will just cause chaos, her skills is enough, skill stat growth is good ( just her skill 2 unreasonably nerfed a year ago), just the ultimate needs to be faster because now people can use gusion and cast full combo in 1.5 sec, their respond so fast that they easily see her ulti coming. I hope that you can pin this and let others to see because im not the only one who thinks like that. Thank you.

Her ulti took to much time even though it's just few millisecond short but still in Moba games, That time is considered slow. So I want the developers to revamp her ulti and reduce the casting time short..
More Wider range of Ruby's 3rd Skill and all is enough
I play ruby too. And yes, She don't need revamp she just need buff, maybe something like ultimate is wider and fast cast and fast CD. And maybe damage, because as fighter she has no damage. If her role tank/fighter it's ok but she is a PURE fighter.
Nah, i think the revamp just about the model and the animations, I'm certain the gameplay is still the same old nerfed ruby. I'm completely agree with you about her skills though, her ult range is just to short for initiator compare to franco and minshitar with a little stun, i say little because the stun only 0.5 second for an "ulimate" skill. All ruby main user know her second skill got nerfed, and the first skill is just good for lifesteal and slowing down enemies. They need to do something about it if they really care about our so called queen of lifesteal.

Your guide is good for beginers who's never been in mythic. In mythic, everything change with ruby on the battlefield.
She is clearly outpowered by many new meta fighters, like aldous, can no longer a good farmers and offlaner like thamuz or uranus. Lose in every parameters compare to others fighters in early game. Lifesteal Dependant on gears that need gold to buy, but can't farm. She is no longer good offlaner.
Nowadays ruby is just as good as support and team fights/ganking because of her skill, all of her skill is crowd control which is pretty good at ganking. The idea is you babysit core hero/carry on team wheter it is mm or mage that deal massive damage to the enemies. Use roam item so that the carry level up fast and build gears fast. You get gold by assisting carry or even killsteal enemies. Don't use full lifesteal, she's pretty weak without any armor gear, unless you outlevel your enemies. Just improvise your item build on battlefield. Use purify on your battlespell because new meta is hypercarry, which is a lot crowd control on battlefield. Stay aware of your enemies positions on the map so you don't get gangbanged.
Ruby is not a fighter, she is a support. All of her skill is build for team fights. You can kill enemies below your level but can't fight one on one or even 5 of them in this current meta even if your lifesteal is high. Don't get provoked chasing dying enemies while other enemies team waiting to ambush you in the bushes. Stay near carry while in team fight so that you can protect carry from assassins who can easily goes in and out to try to kill your carry like hayabusa or gusion or even lancelot.
It is sad, but now ruby is just good as support.

@@rjproduction486 My father forced me to uninstall it during that time. But several weeks /months later, he don't seem to care much about it anymore. But since my 2nd brother played ml, he would noticed me once I reinstalled ml. therefore, he would have carelessly conviscated my phone(or worst cases, permanent / destruction). That's why I'll keep hating my 2nd brother no matter much.
I honestly love ruby she's one of the few fighters i play and enjoy (as a main mage) but as said in other comments.
RUBY'S DAMAGE IS TO LOW. Just make the same build in ruby and other fighters. Her whole premise was like "she's gonna have low cd and huge life steal so she will be sustentble but low damage" but now every fighter has both take a look at dyroth, super burst damaged and high lifesteal.
I really like ruby. I don't play her because she is good or powerful cuz she's not. I play her cause she's FUN. Not super cancer onehitkill like most metas nowadays. You have be be smart and fast. But her low damage basically stops you the play well
I mostly play her as a support WITCH SHE IS SO GOOD AT. Just to prove that her kit is all right and the problem is the damage . She is so useful as kaja and carmila and still weaker than them.

Because there are hypocrites out there who don't take the game seriously and just mess around, like me, I made an assassin 1 shot ult build for Ruby, it's completly unreliable but it's fun as hell and it makes the enemy team's carry beg for it all to end.
You can use either fighter or assassin emblem but assassin works best, the configuration is up to you.
The build is
Endless battle, magic shoes (you can change it late game for more damage or a defense item), demon hunter sword, berserker fury, scarlet phantom, and windtalker.
You may do whatever you want with this information.
Nice guide. I would like to point out some things though:
• Ruby's dash can go through THIN walls only. Furthermore, it only works if Ruby is dashing forward or sideways from where she is facing. It will NOT WORK if you let her "jump" backwards against a wall.
• New update on Necklace of Durance now affects skill-based lifesteal.
Jake Shop ruby is actually no affected by it, I don’t know why but it might be glitch(necklace of durance)

hororo chan did a test on the new necklace of durance and ruby's lifesteal is still not affected by it :)
Ive been ruby main with 900+ matches. Once you get her lifesteal items, its really easy to win with her. But since theres so much new hero coming right now, ruby hasnt been my choice. Shes just overshadowed by these new heroes. Watching this makes me want to play her again lol. Thanks for the video!

I was a ruby top global player back then. She's very good for new player who wants to climb ranks as she could dominated any team fights as long as you know what to do in any situation. Takes a bit of practice on laning and countering enemies's skills, also she can 'Always' wins 1v1 in the early game, always get lv.2 before your enemy does and always poke the enemy's health as you can. so don't be scared on playing aggresively and doing mistakes!

TANK/FIGHTER IN ADVANCE SERVER She is Tanky Early Game And A Hylos Lategame

i really like the ruby now shes hard to catch and her lifesteal can really get player off guard his also very unpopular to high rank making her less intimidating
Ruby skill name are unique than others
Ruby has a lot of combos no need to memorize just keep playing to get to know how you should play her in game.
Also Chou/Fanny is a good combo for Ruby
I mostly use Ruby on bottom lane too.
I use her top line
Ruby main. Top lane.
Top and bottom both are good for ruby but some ruby mains always use her in top

Ruby main here, I prioritize CD reduction and durability more than damage because i'm leaving that to my teammate. Unless they are useless, then... -1 star i go
@lol l That could work too. But if you have both assassin and mm in your team (or worse, no tank), then you really got no choice but to give the jungles to them. But yeah, flicker hook is a must if you're familiar with it
Well, i reached mythic at some point (now stuck in Epic I - Legend IV) with only Ruby but the more new heroes coming, it's getting harder to play Ruby. I'm switching to meta tanks like Minotaur and Khufra right now.
PS. 2 out of 5 matches of me with ruby results in me being a roamer support cc tank mid ruby, I even showed them my high winrate to convince them to give me a solo top/bottom, but it doesn't work. She really needs some buff.
@lol l as ruby main since 2018, I strongly agree.. She was good during the time before meta heroes appear, at present, she can honesty only be seen as a support, she's squishy early game and It's hard to 1 v 1 another fighter without losing, and while a lot of old heroes are getting a revamp/buff I think it's time they do that to ruby.

@David Christian I think it just depends on how good someone is at playing the heroes. I played against a Uranus once as Ruby and I managed to escape / kill him a couple of times.
It will be epic if Ruby's damage is same to other fighters
they gotta make her fighter/tank instead of tank/fighter. It wont make sense if shes a tank. unlike lolita she has a shield
I played Ruby and I was honestly good, my wr are high and all of that but since moontoon add so many hero's, revamp her and many heroes now have stuns, it was useless to use her now. I used to get so many kill. But now she can't even 1v1 except there's mage or mm with her, haih I really love her :(

i used my ruby as a secondary tank cuz of her high sustainability cc and mobility and also the meta nowadays is mm(funneling/ 122 or 131) ruby is a offlaner that is good to clear waves even her ultimate is good on clearing waves cuz of its low cooldown. for me the best items for her or her core item is hass claws queens wings and oracle

I kinda use ruby on mid lane cause Most of my teammates likes to go side lanes and leave the middle lane defenseless, and if you think marksman is in middle lane, well no.. marksman needs to stay with tanks to farm safe

I just want to share my opinion, since the item "Sea Halberd" lowers the lifesteal, it doesn't mean it can also lower the spell vamp, those two are different, I also recommend you to use Bloodlust Axe when an enemy hero usually MM uses Sea Halberd, though there is a very little chance for that to happen so forget it.... sorry for wasting your time...

I recommend actually using your passive on the 3rd combo do the combo but jump after using each skill so after the combo your physical and magic defence is higher just incase the enemy didnt die and theyre damage is higher

Question, My build consist of Jester Shoes, Bloodlust Axe, Endless Battle, Haa's claws, Apocalypse Wing. My question is my last item should be Corrosion Scythe or Rose Gold? Cause Corrosion Scythe has slow and will be very useful, but Rose Gold will make me more durable.

Well, her lifesteal is not special anymore. But yeah, the adjustments of her skills are still good
I think the best build is 2 endless battle , Haas claws , queen wings , bloodlust axe and rosegold meteor
Did you know you can basic attack before jumping to increase your damage output?
I used to play her bc before her insane lifesteal was awesome af but now with nowadays hero to just build her item take too much time you need to atleast kill someone so that u can make her build and even if u manage to make her build without kills u will be left out as around that time her enemies also have finish their item to me her base stat need a buff and her skills need to be lowered on cd cuz her lifesteal was only on skills while other lifesteal can be on basic attack and skills
I still play her though, I can still manage how to counter Meta heroes it, really depends on how we use her actually she still good to use until now If you want a proof watch my channel :) there is a lot of Ruby Montage there
@@ikanjiruby but still like i said if you make your build slower than enemy you will have a hard time to use but to me she is always the best hero.But,sadly after check the new patch they change her role to fighter/tank it scares me cuz of the chances she is going to be like balmond
