Money can buy boats trucks rims but not brains
Love the shout outs to the kids for docking the boats
Many many years ago, I was at a very exclusive marina, and saw a big 65’ sport fisherman coming in to dock. He pulled up the row between docks, swung the boat around and began backing into a narrow slip.
We looked up on the fly bridge, and were amazed to see there was a young boy about 13 at the controls.
He turned around to face the stern, reached behind his back to grab the throttles, and slid that big yacht into the slip like a seasoned captain! Someone trained him right.
Back in the 1950s I used to go visit my uncle who ran a farm and used horses to plough and pull carts, his boys at my age 13/14 watered the horses after their days work, Then the tractor came and I was told about it driving from the train station, my heart sank as the dray horses in London were being put down and electric milk floats and diesel trucks were being used. Uncle noticed my face and said all's OK the horses are semi retired, they pull light carts and spend quality time in the orchard.
Happy with that I learnt to drive a tractor a trailer, my first job on leaving school was on a farm and the farmer was amazed on how well I could drive at 16 years. Later that year The Young Farmers Club held competitions at a county farm show. I entered the trailer backing competition and came first, my boss was over the moon and got me drunk in the beer tent. Since then I've gone onto drive most kinds of construction equipment, even tunnel boring machines.
Teach em young, enjoy family days out, ban the cell phone and talk to one another. Your only here once.

Wise, wise advice my friend.

Great to see our future captains, hello from Alaska
today was a good day homie, seeing the younger guys dockin boats reminds me of when my father taught me how to run a boat when i was 13, im 35 now an have worked on many different boats from longliners to blueclaw crabbing boats up in jersey, we used to have a 80's mako 23 foot i think it was an thats what i learned to run a boat in tight areas on, had a single merc 200 blackmax so one prop made it more challanging to dock in tight quarters, these youngsters are doin great an there fathers are even better for carrying on the legacy, stay blessed Cap !

Thank you Alfred!
Hi Alfred, we came all the way from Buffalo NY. We're having so much fun to the boat show! Love your content, keep up the good work
Coral Gables 🌴🇺🇸 Hehe Fun stuff. 70's&80's my Dad and I did same at Crandon boat ramp. Old enough to remember Andrew ? ? 🏄
Mi hijo José contento porque salió en el video , gracias 👍🏻👍🏻
Wifey told him to put fenders out and he was like. I DON'T NEED NO FENDERS🤣
That’s great to see young ppl learning to boat my parents started letting me take the wheel some at age 10 by 14 I had my sc boaters license and was driving a jet ski growing up like that was great so when my buddy’s was just learning to drive a boat at 21 I wasn’t even thinking about learning I was enjoying and teaching
Jose and Lance! Good job.
Absolutely enjoy this channel! Thanks for keeping it clean too.
Thanks Alfred love what you do 👍👍🐊
Boat police just drove by kids with no life jackets
Your Commentary CRACKS ME UP!!!! Keep it up!
Lol Alfred you the best, it was pretty awesome meeting you at the FLL boat show stay awesome men and thanks for the videos
I just found this channel and I love it
In Covid isolation and binging on Chit Show. Awesome
You could call it the chitting good show. Thanks for producing great videos. Watching from Cornwall UK
lol. there is nothing good about chitting
I have never seen so many people in one place that have no clue how to operate a boat or load/unload from a trailer
PERIOD !!!!
🤣🤣 thats EVERY boat ramp everywhere!
Your right, and everybody seems to drive way too fast for their experience level.
I’ve been loading my 30’ CC for 8 years by myself when I’m alone, once you figure out how deep the bunk needs to be you then pull it up to the winch with a bow line. I have seen way to many accidents power loading especially by amateurs.
Exactly never saw a need to power load my boats. Much safer and simpler.
That’s the way my grandpa teach me to load the boat, using the winch; slow, but safe.
Yup absolutely….I was lucky enough to have an awesome Dad and Uncle who was a 20 year coastguard engineer. My uncle started me on assisting with his 16’ lund and when he felt I was ready we went to the 22’ CC and so on till I owned my own 28’…. I remember him making me take apart the galvanized winch and clean/lubricate etc…. Only twice did I ever need to “power load” this was here in Cape May during hurricane Irene and Floyd. I only did it to keep the rear from blowing out during the winch wind up.
I thought: 10ft of rope would stop most of the incidents at low tide! They could even borrow their own washing line, or, shock horror, visit Wal-Mart and buy some synthetic line for $10....
I just line my boat up with the bunks and tap the throttle once, coasts straight on the trailer every time. Suck it up with winch strap and off you go!
That's a nice rig .....and the truck and boat too!
Thank you for translating,Grandma !
Best seeing these young adults practicing their captian skills vs. Things they could be learning.
I'm a woman and I've been driving boats since maybe 12 and my husband and I now having a medium size fishing boat (with a canopy top). I'm the one who enter the boat on the trailer, if there's any water current or a windy day, my husband can't do it, he simply can't. lol! *But for backing the truck with a trailer he's the best you can find.
Alfred " That thing has a problem" - Ya the driver....
you do good to show people what these people do. I have maritime license and education for many years. now i am a old man and still messing with boats. i started in nyc bay and now i am teaching my grandkids.. its a little boat with 1300 hp. these people go out and buy a nice boat but they really endangering their family plus others. they have no clue how to lounge the boat , how to encounter emergency medical or boat issues etc. I was with nyc police harbor unit and i have seen bad things. if you look at their boat one essential equipment is missing most of the boats. Marine Radio, see tow , plus other. nice videos.
These videos make me want to come back home to Miami lol. The boat ramps in Ft. Pierce aren't this exciting. We don't have a resident crocodile either. I know Fred is waiting for someone to get knocked off the docks lol. Your videos are great brother
Awesome video bro 👍🏾
Gracias por tu video
I still don't understand why people put their trailer so deep in the water when it comes to putting your boat on the trailer.
Afraid to scratched with the bunks? Only thing I can think.

Is not the boat it’s the driver 😂😂😂😂
Brutal Alfred 😂
Classic more money than brains situation!!!
I can't believe these train wrecks have such expensive boats and DON"T have a clue as to what they are doing !
11:15 sometimes boat seats have all the luck
Its hysterical when you are yelling in Spanish but you have to translate everytime for those of us that don't speak fluid Spanish. I'LL WAIT FOR IT!!
I watch by our show every morning Bro, it's very entertaining.
I heard you mention gas prices pretty cheap in Miami. It's $4.49 a gallon of regular in Livermore CA
These new boaters need to learn there's the Coast Guard Auxiliary and U.S. Power Squadron who can teach them safe boating skills. Watching some of these boaters is hard because I'm trying to will them which way to turn the helm and how much power to use at the dock. Love your channel.
Hey after watching many boating vids I actually saw children wearing a floatation device, well done those parents.
Alfred, don't worry too much about that guy.. His girl still gonna feed him .. "To Fred" 🐊🐊🐊
There is a gold mine here. Need to get a phycology degree and open a mobile boat owner therapy office in the parking lot.
You oughta see the "chit show" here at Lake Havasu during long weekends in summertime! It's a tossup between your home marina and here, seriously, man!
Subscribed & all notifications here! This is great!
1:59-------"You screwed up MY boat!" LMAO, could see loading difficulties if it was windy, but this is dead calm stuff here.
6:58-----Probably not sitting straight in the bunks.....
😆🤣😂
When they bury the trailers that deep I "Wait for it"...
Loading on a trailer sitting deep no works. If you're not solo leave driver in tow vehicle. Keep fender wells showing. Once boat is straight and can't go forward keep motors in gear and back up vehicle. Slide right on to bow stop.
Very easy....but don't tell and kill the Chit Show.
I don't really understand the anger issues when trying to load that boat at 2:15. I guess you can have to many captains, even at the boat launch.
I like when u speak Spanish and u should always translate and say it's the phrase of the day for those of us that would like to pick up the language. I'm ret NYPD and I've picked up some over the yrs and even took the class in school but never really picked it up the way I should've
You should do a series where you compare dumb adults to junior captains docking their boats.
Homey gonna get breakfast in bed. Grits. Before he wakes up. HAAAAAAAAAAAAA!
Thought about driving down to be on the chit show... Then I realized my boat gets batter gas mileage than my truck...
Both of those young Captains were good, actually better than most, as as the young crew on the closest boat. Good to see after the guy at the fueling dock not able to understand the RPMs don't have to be high to move a boat.
WHAT A CHITSHOW!
I saw your chit show one time a few days ago and I became an instant fan. Grtzz from The Netherlands. Are you going live sometimes?
This is one of the reasons I had to get out of Florida,it wasnt this bad 20 years ago
HE HAS A ROBILIOOIOLOLOLO!!! :) LOL
Yo Alfred, you the bronco bustin guru from Hialeah! Make sure you film when you take him fishing. 😎
maybe she should drive that boat!
Finally! A captain who knows how to “walk” a boat sideways to the dock using forward and reverse! See it around 12:50 just before the police boat goes by! That’s how you get a boat to lay along side the dock without bumping the dock with the bow or stern.
Can't wait till You bring a drone with You, and fly in for the damage assessment...
Too much trailer in the water, plane and simple! No need to submerge that much of it, leave some of those center bunks exposed, it helps center boat on trailer so boat doesn't push it around. See you at the Miami boat show!
3:20 wife mad thought they own a sea hunter
Good for you standng up for the chicks. If guys listened to their women, there would be a lot less heartache and destruction in the world.
Phrase of the the day!
Alfred what is with the blue pontoon boat that is always at the filet station at Black Point? Keep up the good work. Need more videos for those of us that are addicted.
James stutts is here watching you live on chit chat show
The fresh water fishing crowd is got it together in my 30 years of tournaments fishing I never saw any thing like this from Harris chain to Okeechobee
Well duh... tournament fisherman generally know how to launch the boat 😉
Saltwater is so accessible we bass fisherman like to go 75 to 80 mph saltwater is scary lol
i do like the kids bring in the boat
Alfred you need to get Dwight back in football, it will keep him out of trouble
wawhalea, Grandma awesome I learned a new word in Cuban
This has become addictive! I know you use telephoto but I often have difficulty working out why those dudes collide with solid structures/other boats. Have you considered lifting the camera up 15ft or so? We could get a much better view. Best wishes anyhow from soggy London UK!
Easy answer, they are idiots. The infamous question of "How the F are any of these people smart enough to even earn the money for a boat like that".
Hahaha a drone. Footage would be great but these folks already can't handle tgeir stuff. Buzz a drone and watch what happens. Mayhem.
Be a good time to take that honey right away from him lol
Welcome to the Chit Show!
YEA!!! :) CHITSHOW!!! :)
that was great seeing that 14 year old parking boat
Alfred do you have any idea what highway that guy took? I know I don’t. Something red froze the brain
Was it me or was that trailer just to far into the water ? Needed to pull that truck forward about 3' ?
Divorce is coming and a beating the trailer was way to much in the water lol
Can you do a tour of a yacht factory or yard? Or can anybody tell me some yacht shows and documentary videos? I watch alot but i want to see how they are made or repaired. Thanks
Cuenta millas sin fronteras in the house min:8:45-10:50👍
What is the long pole on the side of the flat boats?
Push pole.
@@kevinvc1804 gotcha. 👌
Why does everyone drive the boat on the trailer? We always back the trailer in right next to the dock and move the boat on and off by hand with lines.
Agreed Alfred about young people. My son is 18 and lives on the water. I go out fishing with him and he is the captain of the boat. When he was 14 I took him to a guy at Big Pine for two days for a hands on boating class which included docking. Anyone looking to sell a skiff let me know.
Alfred leave abuela alone lol
Hey Alfred check out fishing Noosa for last week for some wave breaking bar crossings in Australia bro 😎, some lads just strolling out through the breakers 👌
Miami in general is a chit show
Bumper boats!
someone needs to show her to her place
That was me at 7yrs old
8months later still pretty chitty 😂
What truck did that guy and women fighting have
Alfred, it would be great if you can name the brands of the boats you show on your videos. Stay cool MI AMBIA!!
Noticed a couple other people film there. One dude talks funny. Nobody is in your league thou. A+
Only three minutes? I get the feeling she bought the guy the boat. This can be translated to the print shop I work for. "Let me do the job I am supposed to do." Luckily the owner's wives like me.
