Hi, thank you for this useful video ! I started as Julian with Monica, so I don't have Loanne on the wolrd map ... Do I need anything specific to make it unlocked ? Thanks anyway !
YW! Loanne with Julian: you'll have the occasion to open it later (after defeating one Sinistral). If you can't find it then, here is a useful section: romancing-saga-3.blogspot.com/p/rs3-world-map.html#open GL!
@@romancingsaga3fan thank you very much ! Is this your website ? It already helped me so much to start the game in a good way ! Cheers to your dedication !
To get the Tiger Ferocity formation, you have to recruit Nora or Mikhail. (Nora being the easiest to recruit: say you'll help her, in the Pidona workshop.) Have fun! More about formations here: romancing-saga-3.blogspot.com/p/rs3-gameplay.html#party-formations
Hi, Glad the video was of help. I just thought that not everyone in the world is fluent at listening to English, so text commentary was the obvious option for me (as a non-native speaker too). Additionally, it allows one to pause the video to read and look for vocabulary if necessary. An extra voice-over would have been the cherry on the cake, of course. Cheers!
@@romancingsaga3fan That's a really valid couple of points there. Thanks again for the video and the response. On a slightly different note, I keep trying to get into the game but am so used to more 'traditional' game structure that I often get lost and confused trying to figure out what to do next with the Saga series. Any other tips you could give on how to manage that?
@@usaliengames9810 Yes, it can be confusing, but it's really exploring: talking to everyone (and maybe to everyone again when important quests are completed) and see if new areas or quests open, was the rule of thumb at the time. It's not really a guide how to do that, but I had put together these few no-spoiler tips about the main aspects of the game, if you are playing blind: romancing-saga-3.blogspot.com/p/no-spoiler-tips.html and of course, there are the very detailed other sections of the site if you feel you are stuck. Got rs3 awhile ago and finished the character introduction and haven't felt like picking it up since then. What's the appeal of this game for you because I really like it's music, style and just snes rpgs in general but I couldn't click with this one and wanna give it another shot
It's a very unconventional j-rpg, very ahead of its time in 1995: open world (once you finish the introduction), no obvious story, strong world building, no EXP, obscure tech sparking mechanisms, etc.! I love the freedom and freshness of it all. It's not for everybody, they say, especially if you are looking for an adventure on rails with an obvious narrative. Here is a spoiler-free help page in case you want to have another go at the game: romancing-saga-3.blogspot.com/p/no-spoiler-tips.html Good luck and have fun!

I love Romancing SaGa series... This series are sibling of Final Fantasy.
An amazing, boldly innovative series indeed!
Audio commentary would really enhance this video. I personally like listening instead of reading. Otherwise, great tips. Thanks
