I wish I could see you at least 10 years in the future. You have a great eye for color and curious imagination with personality . Keep up the hard work and you will be going places sweetie.
Call your Bank and tell your bank they took money from your account for a car rental that was not yours, and the Bank can request the car company to pay back the money.
It's true the best thing to do is call the bank! It may only take you 2 weeks from your bank to have his money back in his account! Otherwise the car rental company could take a lot longer!
The note basically says I hope you’re having fun, playing sports, and not getting too wet… something about your feet in the grass. I hope u have a good week. I called yesterday and Friday at 17:30 and u weren’t there. I’ll be thinking of u. I miss u. Even if I don’t see him often, I see him once a week and call every day. It changes when ur not there. Sending lots of hugs n kisses. Be careful and send me a little card. Kiss ur cousins and mom loves you is strong.
Great video. That thing you thought was a tennis racket, was actually used to wack the dirt off rugs. They were made mostly of metal back in the day, from what I seen before. Tall windows tall mirrors. Wow great find.
That place was incredible! It seems so strange that all these places in france have really narrow hallways! But tbe rooms are big yet comfortable looking. It looked like a very grand chateau at one time. And i agree, the bedroom was beautiful. Thanks for sharing this!
Amazing, it's sad to think nobody wants anything in that house. I saw Several pieces I'd Love to have. Who do I contact? Thank You So Much for the tour. You could Almost picture people living there,,,, with multiple Fireplaces crackling, the Smells of Bread being baked and Delicious Aromas of Spices and Herbs. And Music floating in the Air mixed with Laughter. I Love to Explore these Master Pieces, thrown to the Wind like trash. It's just So Heartbreaking ‼️
your "therapy" seat is called a fainting couch... cane thing is a rug beater. You hung your rug out side on a line and beat it with the beater to shake dust and dirt out. Your spirit house is a spot lantern. You put a light source inside, there would be a reflective surface on the inside and it would reflect the light out like an old timey spot light. Yep, I do antiques. It's what I love these old house vids for. You are right, things have changed so fast in the past 100 years, so fast. And... the youth of today has no idea what most of this stuff really was and what life was like. Lots of pianos? Yep, not much other to do than read (lots of books), play board games or card games, play music, do fiber arts (embroidery etc). No TV or internet. Had to entertain yourself. And, the table the lantern was on, due to the barley twist legs and spreader, and the carving, most likely..... French! Chapel was actually a day/sun porch, a lot of these old homes had some stained glass. My aunt's porch had some stained glass highlights decorating the top of their windows.
Thank u for sharing another amazing abandoned home. I always find myself wondering why, what could the reason be that the family doesn't care enough to preserve or maintain the structure of these beautiful homes. Even if their memories are painful/negative, later in time it could be past on. Or at least sell, donate, or give it to anyone that will care for it. Such a tragedy, to leave them forgotten, uncared for, abandoned, uninhabitable, and left to waste away.
Exactly my thoughts everytime I am watching stories and documentaries about abandoned homes and properties. And I would always imagine how that particular place was once upon a time filled with laughter and good memories 😔
I love your videos. All of those houses are beautiful and it makes me curious and imagine how it used to be and the story behind everytime you do the tour. So many memories that is beautiful yet sad. The design are definitely brilliant and gorgeous. If I had the chance, I'd reallly want to renovate a house like that.
That wire thing on kitchen table is Jesus. In bedroom the thing you picked up and said "tennis racket?" is an area rug beater. Hang the rug and beat the dirt/dust/whatever out of it. I've never seen a vibrant pink like that in any chateau tour I've seen. You have great hear. Jealous? No, not me!!! LOL!
Slowly going through your videos randomly and loving them. In this one you picked up an item and said it could be something for tennis. It was actually a carpet beater. You would take the carpet or rug outside and hang it over a fence or line and beat it clean. (Our neighbours still do this with their rugs) Keep up the great work Steve from new fans in UK.
Lovely place Steve so sad it’s left. By the way the thing in the upper rooms that looked like a racket , it’s a carpet beater . They would hang up the rung and wack it to get the dust out 😊
I really like watching your videos so many cool things that you find i would really like to become a urban explorer i like to travel and explor and really like to see old things and places
Beautiful home I would love to had see how beautiful it was in its hay day my favorite rooms was the one with green tint in the lighting and the blue wallpaper bedding that match It almost reminded me of a bed and breakfast
Hello Steve another great video I really enjoyed watching it's a shame that it's going to go to waste and everything inside of it thank you for bringing it love from upstate New York
I still used that ‘tennis racket’ - actually a carpet duster/banger- to whack the dust out of carpets, rugs well into my late teenage years for my grandma.
How in the world did they get that piano up to the 3rd floor? That thing you thought was for tennis I think is a bed/blanket beater to fluff and get dust off?? Great video!
Hi Steve…the thing like a racket on one of the bedrooms is a bed duster. It is used to dust the bed (you kinda slap the bed with it). I have one, well 2 actually, at home and still use them.
Very interesting mansion, this people are so wealthy back in the day , the kitchen and the bathroom are quite small for a big mansion , I guess back in the day only the servers use the kitchen, love the master bedroom it’s very beautiful. The pink room is look Asian design indeed, I can feel the spirit in the pink room , thank you for sharing really enjoy watching.
Hey Steve, new to your channel, and very much enjoyed your tour of this lovely, and sadly, abandoned home. Love your attention to detail, light and color. Beautifully done!
That thing you thought was something used for tennis was used to beat dust from rugs. Can't think of the of the name but my grannies called it a rug beater
Beautiful house, and a perfect look into the life of people living in the early 20th century.. The letter was definitely not written in 1996, more than likely it would be 1896. It fits the timeline of when that Emile Mennesson Piano was made.
Steve love all your videos I enjoy listening to you and at most respect for you have and that you show love for the the homes your visit to film you are amazing one of the best explore love and light Jackie Pelletier
Really grand place Steve, beautiful. If Jeremy calls his bank they will get his cash back through the fraud squad. I've done it not so long ago. Its not a bat like you said it's a squatter for squatting flies or beating dusty rugs.
I don’t understand why and it makes me so angry why don’t people sell the homes if they don’t want them so the house stays well kept and gives happiness and protection to other families It’s disgusting that they just walk away and leave it to rot
Costs too much after they have been left like this. Imagine the plumbing and electric to bring them up to code let alone running utilities to the homes and the structural work. So they sit until some reclamation place buys it for cheap and strips them. Thanks to Steve and the Urbex explorers, they preserve their memories before they are all gone.
One of the reasons I like these vid's is that they remind me to keep perspective. Life is short. Time used stressing is wasted time. That thing that looks like a bat, is actually for splatting flies and other flying insects...I may be wrong. Second thought, its for bashing the dirt out of rugs 😊
Steve what a fantastic video thank you for sharing with us and Steve you should explore abandoned places in Germany 🇩🇪 that would be so epic and Keep up the amazing work Steve
The long handled ornate "tennis racquet was actually a device for beating rugs. They didn't have vacuums, so they would hang rugs and beat them to shake out the dirt.
Steve I have just watched the Bank vault and Safety deposit boxes. Matthew sure cut his arm badly. You should always keep Tetnus shots up to date. Beyond fabulous adventure you take us on. Deeply fascinated. Much gratitude. Australia.

Guys if I was to order one of his hoodies bow long will it take to deliver to Ireland ?
Call your Bank and tell your bank they took money from your account for a car rental that was not yours, and the Bank can request the car company to pay back the money.

Steve always has the appropriate appreciations to these abandoned properties, reminding people these used to be admired work of art.
Your "tennis" thing is a rug beater! You hang the carpet or rug over a clothesline and beat the dust out of it!!!
Such a beautiful home. Great job Steve!
Those pianos are still being sold. That similar style piano is worth $450,000 new.

@@Paula-ir5qs I tried my best to read her cursive
Must agree that wallpaper is one of my favourites too the colour is gorgeous
You are so lucky to have the opportunity to go in to those amazing mansions!!!! Beautiful houses
Great video. That thing you thought was a tennis racket, was actually used to wack the dirt off rugs. They were made mostly of metal back in the day, from what I seen before. Tall windows tall mirrors. Wow great find.
The green color in the bedroom with your favorite wall paper was chosen for tranquility and serenity.
Ganda ng Mansion and bet ko talaga yong library area and sa my Piano area..

I love the lay out of this house! My favorite is the tall ceilings! The openness. Thanks Steve!

It is indeed a carpet beater 33:40.
All your photos are simply amazing you are the greatest you're one of the great artists of the future of photography
It’s a good video but it’s hard to see not enough light.
Yes, I was going to say that a hand held light of some kind would have really helped see better.
So sad that nobody took care of it after the deaths of the owners!
Lived seeing this house in the day time I do believe carl an them did a video of this place as well.
Beautiful house great stuff like fireplace and big kitchen PICTURES LOVE THE MIRRORS PINK IS MY FAVORITE COLOR HOPE JERMY GET HIS MONEY BACK

Magnificent architecture 🌹 you find so many beautiful abandoned places 🤗 great job Steve🌹💯

That stick you found on the bed is for beating carpets to get the dust out
Tack 🙏🏻 för en ännu fantastisk video 📼 Steve du är bäst 👍🏻
Det du trodde va ett tennisrack 🏸 det va en mattpiskare ❤🇸🇪
It was a Beautiful house 😊!
Lovely Videography here, of character old history homes.
It’s a barometer on the wall. Small steps lead to servants quarters.
Great video as usual!! There are apps you can put on your phone that translates.

I bet that Mention was Beautiful in the day, a happy home to, thank you Steve for sharing this, loved it🙏🇬🇧❤️
The "racket" you found was for dusting fabrics. Like bedding and rugs.
Don't fall into the EV trap bro. Cool video

They are not therapy couches. It was very common for people to take a nap or just to relax in the afternoon. It’s called a chaise

The thing that looks like a bat is a rug beater not a fly swatter.
@@Zjedi yeah, I realised that and added a note at the end. Been a long time since I was a kid 😅
Thank for sharing, such a beautiful house be careful 😊the old house looks a bit dangerous
Also go into one of their locations as well. So sorry this has happened. Been there and it really sucks. Hang in there!
Your pronunciation is not bad at all. Everyone knows you don’t have the French accent.Good job young man.

The rattan thing on the bed is a rug beater. It's used to beat and clean area rugs.
How would they get furniture through those hallways I wonder .I have never seen passage ways so thin
