Beautiful big house! I think it's too strange that they salvage pot lights, closet shelving, and toilets but have not touched the marble, granite countertops, dining room chandelier, gorgeous hardwood flooring. We as a society waste so much! It is sad to see something so unique be demolished. Thanks for sharing this, Ethan.
This is absolutely outrageous and uncalled for to tear something like this down we're going to hell in a handbasket is what we're doing wasteful wasteful it's sad😢😢😢😢
To Ruth and Theresa: yesss, absolutely. This was such a beautifu, beautiful find, but it saddens the heart that it will be gone. So many possible uses for decades would be possible.
I seriously think that it should be against the law for people/corporations to tear down perfectly fine homes!! This is one of the main reasons why the environment is all screwed up. Waste and overproduction needs to STOP!!!😢
I’ll add to that. If you’re going to renovate, you should have to donate old fixtures that are in good condition, don’t just throw everything into a dumpster. This house was full of appliances and fixtures that could be reused.
I ran the serial number from when you recorded the back of that fridge and it's a 29.5 cu. ft. Built-In Side by Side Refrigerator in Stainless Steel by KitchenAid and sells for $12,299.99 on the KitchenAid website. Pretty nice fridge!
Thank You Ethan! I am glad to help you. I was worried you would think I wa a nut. But after 40 years of having my own custom home improvement and design, I never worked a day, as I loved what I did. You know your stuff, Man. Thats why I watch You, My Friend. Keep doing what You like, wish You the best!
I sit here dreaming of how beautiful all those skylights and windows looked during the morning sun or during rain. Shame to have it go to waste. Thanks for sharing this beauty!
Oh no!!!!! How can they just tear that down??? I would put up a gazebo along the side of the pool and enjoy living in that gorgeous house. How sad to see it all go!! 😭 Obviously for property value. Everything comes down to money💵💵
Breaks my heart to see such a beautiful home being torn down . You buy a house and tear it down for the sole purpose of putting of building something bigger and better. What wrong with the original house? What a waste of money!
Hey Ethan. I just put on my iPad & there you were. Perfect timing 😊Love the sunken living room. Beautiful hardwood floors. That chandelier was really beautiful. So sparkly. I did not like the layout. It was not flowing. It was very choppy. I was really surprised the kitchen was so small & it didn’t “flow” into the dining room. I really hate grey. Beautiful huge home, but not my style. Seeya
Hey Ethan Another great home tour! Absolutely fell in love with the sunken living space... You know since watching your video's i now find myself looking for dates on peoples windows! Great stuff Ethan, Thank you.
Hi Ethan...love the kitchen, sunken room and bar ,floors, and pool ..what a party 🥳 spot ..incredible...how can you tear down a house with all that marble in it ...tragic ....Nice find tho, stay safe well and happy Ethan 💋
Terrible waste for this beautiful home to be demolished.. Absolutely beautiful!. Nothing needs to be changed. Thank you for the view, Ethan. Be safe and blessings to you. 😁
This was a lovely home and I am sure it would look awesome in bright sunlight with crystal clear water in the swimming 🏊♀️ pool. House was certainly built to last far more than 17 years .
Fridge from 2017 and they have just left it behind... my fridge is older than that and I wouldn't dream of replacing it as it's still going strong. Why do such mega rich folks have to be so wasteful? At least they should sell it cheaply, some poor person would be glad to get hold of a good quality fridge!
2:55 love the chandelier & hardwood flooring & the pool was probably very amazing back in the day. 6:27 pretty artwork & conversation pit 21:06 sad they’re going to demolish it.
It’s so sad that so many beautiful homes are abandoned and left to rot, or torn down. This is so beautiful. I don’t understand why they are tearing it down. Why not just sell it? Such a waste. Thanks for sharing with us 😊
Pretty nice house, id expect a much bigger kitchen though. I'd be afraid I'd trip and fall into that sunken room 😂. Thanks for another great video! I've been binge watching all your other videos. I'm hooked!!
I really love this house….it’s incredible! However, with all the white, grey and black I’m finding that the wooden stair railings are off putting to me…..they don’t match the rest of the colour scheme nor the contemporary look of the house IMO….great find nonetheless!
That is one super beautiful home!🤩 I love the finishes, the marble or granite is spectacular! Totally perfect party set up!! The lawn and pool, look so great also!! Horrible shame and complete waste that it will be demolished! 😡 Cool explore!😎🤟✌️
I absolutely just want to cry! So beautiful! Thank you Ethan Minnie for another excellent tour! You are my favorite 😍 ❤😊 If you go back for pics, could you check the plaque on the little table next to the futon in the basement & tell us what it says? lol. Curious minds want to know. Thank you! 😊
I just don’t understand how someone could want more house than this fine mint condition beautiful one. What a waste to tear this down!!! I also don’t get why they would take all those pot lights but leave that gorgeous chandelier behind. I think people are a bit crazy. Like the split levels and all those beautiful hardwood floors. The yard was beautiful and the pool. Good times out on that patio! I’m more of a wood burning fireplace person but that’s ok. There is absolutely nothing wrong with the house that it should be torn down. Thanks for sharing this Ethan. Really enjoyed watching! Take care, be well and stay safe!!
What an outstanding house ... and barely 20 years old, too! That fridge was only 7 years old. So clean and well maintained. The wood floors are stunning. It's truly a shame to see this one scheduled for demolition.
Love love the video Ethan ❤. Unfortunately I can’t understand how we first world countries can be so wasteful! And we tend to not help those who truly need it. It saddens me to my core being. On the flip side I enjoyed seeing the beauty in this spectacular updated mansion. I could only dream of a house like this.
Just because someone could only stay there on some term for maybe 5-10 years and then have the lease time done,It’s a real fabulous place, but shouldn’t be a hard sell unless when some house Hunter wants to fix it up their personal way. But to stay on the market, it’s not easy. Thanks for showing us this beauty even though it was getting dark, and two orbs flew past you in one of the bedrooms on the first floor. Some places are creepy at night, and the ceiling got shorter down below.put kids down there? ...They’d want back up for sure!😳
Good job Ethan for blocking the address numbers Miyako just look up the house and see what it looks like me out other people could go there and you know you know other people could damage it spray paint it and do all that cost more problems do it I'm happy you block the address keep it up
Exactly, 😢 what a waste, spend this kind of money, just to be flushed down the toilet 🚽, no pun intended for the toilets gone. or, perhaps it fits. You can get lost in there, need a GPS system to guide.
I say this too much, but there are so many items in these houses that could be easily removed and sold/donated, in this case the chandelier, doors, door hardware, faucets, furniture, the other closet organizers, etc. There are others that would need a more skilled demolition/salvage team to remove, like the vanities, kitchen counters, countertops, etc. I don’t know what your day job is, Ethan, but you might consider working for a house demolition/salvage crew and then with that kind of knowledge/skills might begin a salvage/demolition company of your own.
That remote you found controlled the A/C. That's a super old one and I'm surprised it was still working. It works just like a wall thermostat, but it's a remote.
It's such a big shame how people abandoned homes and they live at least for a few years in the homes before they get up and leave and let the homes go to pot. Eventually a developer comes in and says we are going to demo the homes in a few weeks and make brand new big apartments or warehouse space for our employees to work.
Love the floors. Can they reuse them I wonder? Not a fan of the dining room down the stairs from the kitchen. Would be difficult to serve. The rest of it is pretty nice but honestly I can understand why they are tearing it down
Yayyyyy I couldn't fully enjoy the video, because you move the camera too fast and I felt dizzy🥴,anyway, the house is spectacular, it's a shame that it was left to be abandoned, thank you!💝
Its so sad to see something like this torn down, when there is people out there that would love to own something like that... Including me!!!!!!! That is such a waste. Look at the beautiful floors.. I'm in awww.
Hi Ethan It’s a shame to think they can demolish a home that isn’t even 20 years. That should be a crime. This house is as you say huge. That sunken living room is way cool. That chandelier is absolutely breathtaking. They really should take that with them. I can’t believe they would want to take the toilet. We have replaced a commode or 2 in our home and they are not expensive. There was more than 1 creepy chair🪑 in this house. That chair that you sat in was a nice office chair that they should take. I’d rather have that chair rather than some icky commode. I guess that is how rich people live. Why would anyone in their right mind walk away from this lovely house? That pool must have been nice to swim in when people lived there and kept it clean. I’m surprised there was no pool house. Well Ethan this house certainly was a beauty. Thank you for showing us around today. Stay safe and well.👍🆒🏠😢
The construction fence doesn’t necessarily mean that the house is going to be completely demolished. It could be a remodel, addition, etc. I see these fences often and the homes within them are rarely knocked down.
My SIL looked at a chandelier very similar to this one when she and my brother renovated their home here in the states. Brand new they ran around $5-6k. She ended up finding one that just needed a new mounting piece and cord for around $2k at an estate sale. She found out it was worth more than $7k. So seeing this and being a bit of a cheapskate was kind of heartbreaking.
Solo el costo del mármol de la habitación del bar es una locura. Y más loco demoler esa mansión. Siempre me pregunto como será la casa que los dueños habitan ahora
Ok, you know I’m usually all for saving these homes, but this one is just weird. A lot of nice finishes that could be salvaged, but the layout is completely unworkable.
Apparently they are having a massive housing shortage in Canada.. driving the prices sky high. They find these big houses with huge lots and offer them waaay more than they are worth to demo the existing homes and replace them with a bunch of overpriced junk. Seems like every exploring video in Canada is this situation lately.
Right on everything!😢
To Ruth and Theresa: yesss, absolutely. This was such a beautifu, beautiful find, but it saddens the heart that it will be gone. So many possible uses for decades would be possible.
earth s resources taken by greed to get all they could harvest
My thoughts too!
I seriously think that it should be against the law for people/corporations to tear down perfectly fine homes!! This is one of the main reasons why the environment is all screwed up. Waste and overproduction needs to STOP!!!😢
Throw away society.
I agree it's such a wast
I’ll add to that. If you’re going to renovate, you should have to donate old fixtures that are in good condition, don’t just throw everything into a dumpster. This house was full of appliances and fixtures that could be reused.
I agree
Tear down a high end house built with materials that would last a lifetime-makes me ill. What waste. It’s a huge house. But certainly beautiful.
That is probably the most intact abandoned home I've seen toured. So sad that it's being demolished
I ran the serial number from when you recorded the back of that fridge and it's a 29.5 cu. ft. Built-In Side by Side Refrigerator in Stainless Steel
by KitchenAid
and sells for $12,299.99 on the KitchenAid website. Pretty nice fridge!
High quality home. What a shame.
What a waste of a beautiful home. It basically looks new. I would live there in a heartbeat.
too much to maintain for most and has an empty feel not cozy at all
Thank You Ethan!
Why does everything have to be torn down? Some renovation is what it needs
❤❤❤
Oh no!!!!! How can they just tear that down??? I would put up a gazebo along the side of the pool and enjoy living in that gorgeous house. How sad to see it all go!! 😭
Obviously for property value. Everything comes down to money💵💵
Hello Ethan! ✌🏻
What a weird and odd built house! I never seen a home with an open kitchen at the front door! All that luxury going down…… SAD
Wow what a beautiful home & property! Sad it will be torn down! Another awesome video bro! 👍❤️🤘
Breaks my heart to see such a beautiful home being torn down . You buy a house and tear it down for the sole purpose of putting of building something bigger and better. What wrong with the original house? What a waste of money!

Looks like a beautiful house Ethan ❤ thank you taking all us along with you
no way it'd to cool to be destroyed . thanks for sharing . ❤❤❤ stay safe love ya
Hey Ethan

Another beauty thank you Ethan.Love your explores of homes.👍❤️🇺🇸
This was a lovely home and I am sure it would look awesome in bright sunlight with crystal clear water in the swimming 🏊♀️ pool. House was certainly built to last far more than 17 years .
What a beautiful place! I cannot believe that it’s abandoned already!! I guess money talks! Thanks Ethan!
Great video as always Ethan and thank you for sharing this great video with us 👍❤️😎
So gorgeous. I hope they save some of the contents. Thank you Ethan.
Massively awesome 💯
Exactly, 😢 what a waste, spend this kind of money, just to be flushed down the toilet 🚽, no pun intended for the toilets gone.

At least they should sell it cheaply, some poor person would be glad to get hold of a good quality fridge!
Maybe they took the toilets out to keep people from using them. I mean who would want to have to take out a Nasty toilet??
My guess is they were high end Japanese toilet/bidet combo ones that cost quite a bit since they didn't take all of them.
2:55 love the chandelier & hardwood flooring & the pool was probably very amazing back in the day. 6:27 pretty artwork & conversation pit 21:06 sad they’re going to demolish it.
Another sad back story. Shit always go that way, it seems. Thanks again
Looks Italian!!!
It’s so sad that so many beautiful homes are abandoned and left to rot, or torn down. This is so beautiful. I don’t understand why they are tearing it down. Why not just sell it? Such a waste. Thanks for sharing with us 😊
Such a gorgeous place.
And another one getting torn down sad. Thank
Pretty nice house, id expect a much bigger kitchen though. I'd be afraid I'd trip and fall into that sunken room 😂. Thanks for another great video! I've been binge watching all your other videos. I'm hooked!!
I don't usually like split level homes, but the interior of this house is beautiful-- the back exterior (deck specifically), not so much.
Gorgeous house, Ethan. Sorry to see it go. I love crystal chandeliers. Marble was stunning and I loved the sunken conversation room.
What a waste to demolish a beautiful home like that..
That kitchen was beautiful. I hate to think it's gone now. I'd give my eyeteeth to have all the space and those sleek counter tops.
I really love this house….it’s incredible! However, with all the white, grey and black I’m finding that the wooden stair railings are off putting to me…..they don’t match the rest of the colour scheme nor the contemporary look of the house IMO….great find nonetheless!
Someone must have been desperate for toilets, lol...
That is one super beautiful home!🤩 I love the finishes, the marble or granite is spectacular! Totally perfect party set up!! The lawn and pool, look so great also!! Horrible shame and complete waste that it will be demolished! 😡 Cool explore!😎🤟✌️
Great find! The house could have been around another 10 to 15 years just the way it is.
Thank you! 😊

Sucks Ethan. Another gem going to waste. I wouldnt change anything in this house. Its perfect. Beauty. ❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤
Beautiful pool, love the stone work
What a unique house! Such a shame it’s going/gone😢
Awesome explore Ethan!✌🏻❤

This house is just incredible I love the kitchen counter this is a beautiful house why they have too tear this down I say too my self is why🤦🏽♂️
Awesome house, thanks love from the uk ❤
Several families in my apartment complex could live there❤❤❤❤
Thats what I've been thinking all along! Not even just great spaces, but the finish work is exquisite!❤
What a gorgeous house! I love it

That parquet floor was a surprise. Would that have been originally a 1960's home that got a massive addition and reno in 2005 or so?
Fabulous job❤
Ethan, you always find the best homes! Why won't film with a light? This vid definitely needed some light. It was too dark in there.
didn’t plan on filming this day but came across it and didn’t want to risk missing it so i did it with what i had
That's money 🤑 for sure,.... definitely had servants. Could you imagine cleaning 🧼 this place 🤔 they definitely had parties 🎉
I adore that dining room? Chandelier ❤❤❤❤
That remote you found controlled the A/C. That's a super old one and I'm surprised it was still working. It works just like a wall thermostat, but it's a remote.
This is an amazing house. Just beautiful. Thanks for showing us
Such a shame they will tear it down. It’s beautiful
What's up ethan good video ❤😊

May I ask why ? I love most of it. What don’t you like about it enough to tear it down ? Just curious.
1960s style sunken conversation pit elevated ❤
Yayyyyy I couldn't fully enjoy the video, because you move the camera too fast and I felt dizzy🥴,anyway, the house is spectacular, it's a shame that it was left to be abandoned, thank you!💝

This house is beautiful. Such a shame they're tearing it down
Why would you tear something down? That's so beautiful like what a shame
Left the bed and beautiful chandelier but took those toilets! Wow!

I love the chandelier too Ethan 😁
The chandelier looks like it was just washed.
Yeah I seen that Medo4320😁
Great house nice find
Very cool
House, such a shame to have it torn down!
From the back this house looks more like a motel
gorgeous home!!
Sunken living area, beautiful chandelier ❤
@@ShettikkaWoods-jl8iq that chandelier looks just cleaned. I wonder if it's real crystal.
Why are them going to tear down that beautiful house so much things to save.
Beautiful modern house, what a waste, thanks for the video
I can't believe that they are going to demolished that nice beautiful 🏡

Are these people criminals? Who just walks away?

All the freaking stone, marble. Def Italian
The remote on the chair is for the fireplace
Is it me or is it common in Canada to tear down perfectly fine newer homes…Maybe it happens in the US and it’s just not documented as much…🤷🏼♀️
Makes me so sad to see nice houses demolished.....
I'd die for a home like that, and people just rip them down. 😢 id live in it happily
This house was amazing. What a waste for sure
Beautiful place...can't believe it will be torn down!!! Just a few fixes and it would sell!
