This Arctic Cat Mountain Cat snowmobile had 4000 miles on it when the bottom skirt of the piston broke. I've got over 9k miles on my stock 07 m8 162 off trail mountain riding ! Not a high horsepower king motor but the longevity and durability from suzuki built two strokes is unmatched .
I've heard great things about the c-tec2 cat motors also except for the air intake system taking in a little to much snow and water other than that bullet proof

It’s always been our rule in the western US that you replace the pistons , rings, at around 1800-2000 miles also like to check the reeds , look for any leaks. Etc saves a lot of money in the end.
