It's also (very) cute that they're not exactly having fun doing it 😂 looks like they just put up with it because they love their daughter, and it's the sweetest thing ever.
As an American - I'm so envious of the cultures of Europe - I love seeing these videos on the authentic daily life of Italians. & wow - the artistry, I cannot draw a straight line with a ruler, the ease of how they make those shapes with the pastry!! Also - thank you thank you, lol, for elucidating the true Italian espresso drinks - I've been a barista & it drives me nuts how Americanized things have become - thanks to Starbucks, lol, which I'm sure you know is just pure blech. So so far from authentic & yet they use all these cutesy Italian terms. Sorry, rant over, lol ;)

@@rosiemaiowhen it comes to Italian food, you don't have to eat it to say it's tasteful. By seeing it is enough. My mom always curious about what the people in the west would have for a breakfast. Now I can show this video. By the way, I'm from India.
Your breakfast is more a dessert for us here in Norway ☺ It is something we could eat at a birthday party etc. Or on a holiday somewhere. In Norway our breakfast is mostly open sandwiches with ham or Norwegian brown cheese, boiled eggs and coffee. Many also eat oatmeal, milk and yogurt.
After that breakfast before to go school or work, Italians often eat something around 10\11 a.m to make a break ( a very light luncheon usually ) and then there is lunch at 1or 2 pm . If they eat all that caloric stuff too they would not eat until dinner.

The bakery scene was a total flashback to my Baking and Pastry Arts apprenticeship. We call them danish pastries but the recipe is probably different as well. The brioche I'm accustomed to making has the butter mixed into the dough instead of the spot in and folded version you showed today. I love to see how other countries baked goods are made! Thank you for the amazing video.
Amazing to see Francesco and your mom; masters of their respective crafts, through passion and hard work. Thanks for sharing glimpses of life in Italy. Thanks for these beautiful videos and for the effort of making them better each time.

As an italian living abroad I'm so jealous of all of those childhood staples from Italy that I don't have access to anymore! I find that breakfast can be challenging abroad as an italian because salty breakfast is NOT an option (at least for me), and so the options are very slim. I just stick to yogurt, granola and fruit and I hope I never get sick of it because that's pretty much the only thing I enjoy lol
I'm South East Asian and our breakfast is salty and savory. It's so interesting how in other countries it's the opposite. For me I can't stomach something so sweet inthe morning. Although bread is probably a staple for all cultures.

I can't believe you didn't mention tea. Like... tè con i biscotti? Lots of italian drink that for breakfast. It's definetly more popular than drinking orange juice for breakfast. The tea island in italian supermarkets is huge. I'm Italian and almost every adult I know drinks tea in the morning as an alternative for coffee or even the two of them as a combo, one after the other.
after watching ur videos, one of my definite goals after college is to land an internship or apprenticeship in pastry arts in Italy. there's just so much to learn and taste there and after watching ur videos, Italy has become one of my top 5 culinary destinations

I’ve always believed that Italy is like the European version of Mexico haha and I can tell you that with this video I got those vibes as well. We have our own pastries which we call “pan dulce” and it’s literally a staple, a lot of people enjoy drinking coke with it or just an instant coffee made at home, we’re also big on the cookies with coffee as well and I swear my whole life I thought kinder was mexican because it is really popular over here too. Amazing video as always! Sending you much love, Rosie ❤️
Francesco isn't old ...yet. lol As we get older and see our parents age, we realize people don't truly get old until their 80's. The admirable and talented Francesco is safe for now. lol Also, your mom, the other talented hard worker, looked gorgeous.
greetings from Austria! 😊 I was born in Tyrol, so fortunately the delishiousness of italian pastries and cookies was never too far 😍 How Italians manage to stay in shape though, is still a mystery to me. Considering the amount of sugar and carbs in the daily diet. How is it even possible? I am envious 😅
Those pastries are usally made with very little to nil sugar and with quality products compared to let's say stuff made in USA or England, been there seen that, and usually, unless one has not to fast until dinner, you take just one togheter a coffee or a cappuccino, you will hardly see someone eating 2 o 3 of those pastries in the morning, very rare. Hence not a great consumption of carbs and sugar. As for pasta it's mostly just one dish of pasta at lunch for most people . In my house for example we never eat two times pasta in the same day, sometimes we don't eat pasta for 2\3 days either. Granted that is the topping that make pasta fattening, for example a dish of spaghetti with just a bit of olive oil is one of the healthiest stuff ever made and eaten even by athletes.
I love this content!!! Idk how I found you but I’m just in love. I’m from Argentina, my family migrated from Italy, so I’m like second generation. BUT I SWEAR TO YOU Italian Argentinian do the same! Mind blowing how many similarities in our culture ❤
Do Italians eat anything with protein for breakfast? My go to is a lot of freshly cut vegetables braised in broth with some eggs or fish or chicken and buckwheat noodles. Usually, we eat at 11:00am our first meal so it’s like a brunch. Love your videos Rosie and always enjoy them!
How come italians are living so long when they eat so many sweets from breakfast until dinner ? Maybe they balance this habit with eating a lot of vegetables and fish/seafood 🤔
Italian breakfast is one of the most unhealthy meals that they have. But that being said, all other meals are pretty balanced. The key here is balance. I rarely see Italians over eating most of the time. It’s just funny that they start their day with so much sugar..
So much sugar consisting of latte and, at best, 3/4 little biscotti. Or cereals. That's not much if you think about it. What Rosie has shown is basically our Sunday breakfast if we want some variation from the usual.
@@odetojoon it depends what you consider a lot. Each of those biscotti is has a lot of sugar. Here in my house my family eats them every morning. I do agree that is not a lot once a week, but if you eat that everyday it is. I think that a breakfast with some protein and healthy fats would just help stabilize blood sugar levels for the start of the day, instead of only carbs and sugar.
Do you think that eating pancakes or eggs cooked in butter or fried bacon or sausages , or cereals full of sugar ( more than Italian sweet pastries) is a helthier way of starting the day? Let's check statistics on obese or fat peaople in Usa and Italy and you'll have the answer on who has the best blood sugar levels..
I love your videos they are always very informative and beautiful. I admire the love for work and craftsmanship of Italian people. Greetings from Greece! 💙
It's a shame she is so inconsistent. There are many more channels emerging with this type of content and if she keeps up her current schedule of one video every two to three months, her channel will lose momentum and people will move on. I would hate to see that happen.

Currently in Italy and love this!! Thanks for posting ! And OMG THE QUALITY ! You’re stepping you’re game up girl, love it.
Loved this Rosie! You should make these with the voiceover in Italian too, they'd make great videos for those who are learning the language.
wow! props to Francesco for doing this every day since he was 12ys old and how come he still seems so young :')) even tho i don't know him, we're more than blessed to have Francesco!
Welcome back Rosie 🎉🎉🎉
Loving the quality of the video woahh the improvements are amazing
You looking beautiful always
Thank you so much I really appreciate it ❤️
That man is a HARD WORKER 😭🙇🏿♀️❤️ !!
Indeed! 😮
BABE WAKE UP ROSIE JUST DROPPED A NEW VIDEO!! ❤❤❤
I enjoyed this sooooo much. I love Italian culture. Thank you for the effort you put into your videos! We love you, Rosie!
What a great comeback! The video was beautifully filmed and edited and the content made me hungry. I recently started using a Moka pot to make my coffee and it’s so much better than any of the other methods I’ve tried. Looking forward to future videos!
All the old people running these businesses are so hard-working!
Where do you live?
Amazing amazing content!!! Your artistry is way beyond your years, Rosie!
yes☺️🩷
As someone who was raised in Italy i can tell you that Italy has the most delicious baked goods😭😍there was (there is still) a bakery near my home and early in the morning around 4 i could smell bread and fresh pastries in the making, with pizza slices and much more🤤 i can't tell you how much we love those pastries you showed at the end Rosie😭i can't find them here, in the country i live now. You guys would go crazy after eating all those goodies, Mulino Bianco and Kinder brioss are the best in the world😭i miss these things so so much😢
what a comeback and a huge change! i love how the quality and the tones of this video shifted. though, i must say, i still prefer the old ones. it felt natural and dreamy. it didn't feel so curated and over analyzed like the other vlogs from different a content creator. there's magic in your original videos that no one has. i feel safe and at home. i hope you won't take this as a negative comment. i love u!
I prefer the old videos too, this looks so Americanly overproduced!
There is one relationship in this mortal life which effortlessly scores above all other known relationships on this Earth. Feeling confused? Don't scratch your head too much as that extraordinary relationship is none other than that of the Mother..!😊😊
The pastries 😭♥. Also, am I the only one who thought while growing up that Kinder is german chocolate? Hahaha
Loved EVERYTHING in this video, Rosie and the way you filmed it. Comforting and warm, just like the brioches 💕
Ahahah in italy too many don’t realise that ferrero (nutella) and kinder are the same company
The colors of this video are gorgeous! Very well made❤️ So happy you’re back!
🥰
you literally don’t know how much ur videos mean to me!! ur my comfort youtuber and you literally feel like my friend and i missed
your videos sm i watch all
of them on repeat everyday 🫶🏻🐞
Omg I love this new video style Rosie! It has your same great informative/documentary style but the colors look so dreamy in this one! I always look forward to your videos :)
The languages are crazy similar too
mexico = italy at home
The similarities between Italy and Mexico are mostly due to Spanish past of Mexico i guess.
Mavaffa!
For me oatmeal - porridge - soup- upma are the best breakfast! And morning ☕️ coffee is a must ❤
Francesco isn't old ...yet. lol As we get older and see our parents age, we realize people don't truly get old until their 80's. The admirable and talented Francesco is safe for now. lol Also, your mom, the other talented hard worker, looked gorgeous.
so true!! To someone in their 20's, everyone is old, haha.
I don't know why but your videos is one of my reminders that life is still beautiful.
Where have you been Rosie? I miss your videos :.) hope youre doing well!!
Thanks for sharing the most local habits. I used to travel a lot and always go to the local places, avoiding touristy spots.
greetings from Austria!
@@alessandrom7181 thanks for clarifying and the explanation!
I love this content!!! Idk how I found you but I’m just in love. I’m from Argentina, my family migrated from Italy, so I’m like second generation. BUT I SWEAR TO YOU Italian Argentinian do the same! Mind blowing how many similarities in our culture ❤
OMG ROSIE MISSED U
Do Italians eat anything with protein for breakfast? My go to is a lot of freshly cut vegetables braised in broth with some eggs or fish or chicken and buckwheat noodles. Usually, we eat at 11:00am our first meal so it’s like a brunch. Love your videos Rosie and always enjoy them!
Are you ok? Are you busy with the paperwork to move? Missing your videos!
How come italians are living so long when they eat so many sweets from breakfast until dinner ? Maybe they balance this habit with eating a lot of vegetables and fish/seafood 🤔
I wonder the same😅
Exactly. Also, they are eating just a small amount of those sweets.
Such a wonderful and useful video, thank you so much! Hoping to finally visit Italy one day! 💚🤍❤️
Half of the day he focuses on the present....the rest on tomorrow....mesmerising
next video will be in 6 months
It's a shame she is so inconsistent. There are many more channels emerging with this type of content and if she keeps up her current schedule of one video every two to three months, her channel will lose momentum and people will move on. I would hate to see that happen.
Thank you for letting us follow Francesco's craftmanship. Grazie Francesco!
Sorry, but this the utmost unhealthy breakfast anyone can eat. Just fat and sugar.....and Nutella is poision.
Well, it’s Italian’s own life and choice. Nothing we can do about it but I am really want it but only for one time.
