- Today we are making lovely Spring Wreaths and gorgeous Shabby Chic Flowers, absolutely PERFECT for Spring!
I’ve formed my wreaths from cardboard, but you can use whatever you have on hand to create yours.
Next, we will use fabric to cover our wreaths, as a fabulous base for our Shabby Chic Flowers.
Finally, we will use strips and scraps of fabric, doilies and lace, to create simple yet elegant flowers for our wreaths!

The combination of different fabrics formed in different ways and layering them to create pleasing flowers is a unique and gorgeous way to coordinate the pieces for the wreaths!
I always wondered why I kept tiny scraps of lace. What a wonderful way to incorporate scraps into something so beautiful!
The subtle colors just enhanced the completed project!
Pink is an appeasing hue that easily escalates it's neutral counterparts. It's also a color I have always been fond of!
The small embellishments were the icing on the cake! They brought the pieces together and made everything fit!
I love how you use meer scraps of different things to seamlessly meld everything together!
It's clear to see that nothing is wasted in your craft room! You combine different textures and colors to create something that's always appealing! What looks simple in the beginning, looks chic at the end!
Just watching you has my mind racing with ideas! You teach us to think outside the box!
You explain things so well and your demonstration gives us the direction to go without limitations.
Your voice is so soothing but never boring! You speak to us as if we were in the same room. You also give us allowances in the way we might want to do something.
You're a wonderful teacher, instructor and crafter!

I am finally getting the chance to decorate in the romantic country shabby chic style that I have dreamed of since I was a teenager. A neighbor when I was maybe 10 or so introduced me to antiques and the Victorian style. I fell in love never to turn back.

Becky, the wreaths are absolutely gorgeous. I am so glad you used cardboard and cut it and threaded the “tube” of fabric on to it. I really loved how the frayed and gathered edges looked on the medium side one. I got some boxes I can cut circles out of. I May double mine. My cardboard is not as high quality and pressed as yours.

All of your flowers are totally awesome. I love them all. I've even made some of the rolled roses out of fabric and other things like glue filled baby wipes and used dryer sheets !!

i love making flowers, too, Becky! I cut off a floral maxi skirt that too long for me. i made a flower out of the excess i cut off the skirt. I pinned it on my white shirt denim jacket! it made for such a pretty outfit! i thought about you as I was making it.❤
