Becky, every one of Hesse are absolutely gorgeous! It would be impossible to pick a favorite. So feminine, so shabby, so pretty. Thanks for sharing your unbelievable talent with us. Enjoyed!
Very smart the way you found out to cover the circle .Much easier and came out beautiful.Watching from Brazil .Lived abroad for 30 years .Miss Michaels and Hooby Looby .Thank you my dear for your tutorial.❤
Thank you so much Denise! It is one of my favorite wreaths and I enjoy displaying it each Spring. I appreciate you watching from Brazil, and send you greetings from Florida!
Your projects always feed my soul and please my eyes. I adore the pale colors and especially that pink. It’s not just for little girls anymore. Compliments and many thanks for your excellent editing, never overdone or bombastic and NEVER boring. There’s just enough information and instructions to learn without prolonging the process so It’s enough for newbies and the advanced. Your soothing voice projects a sense of calm and tranquility, which makes the viewer more relaxed and confident they can achieve the same results. What a wonderful change from what I’m used to watching. Beautiful work today!
Thank you so much Gizmo! I try to keep the pace moving, because my videos are long to start with. I’ve always loved pink, but only recently introduced it into my home’s color palette outside of my craft room. It’s such a happy color! As always, I appreciate you watching and hope your week is wonderful!
I incredibly loved everything you made tonight…SO beautiful! So feminine and lovely! You are a great teacher…you show how you make your projects in a way that makes me take courage to try! God bless you….❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤
I’m so glad you enjoyed the tutorial Katherine! It’s been my goal from the beginning to make crafters of any skill level feel confident to try any of my projects!
Thank you so much for these ideas. I can always count on you to give me projects to style my home. I am finally getting the chance to decorate in the romantic country shabby chic style that I have dreamed of since I was a teenager. A neighbor when I was maybe 10 or so introduced me to antiques and the Victorian style. I fell in love never to turn back.
Thank you sonnyandcobi! I tried decorating with neutral colors for a while, but felt my home lacked charm. I love soft pastel colors, lace, needlepoint, and doilies! I still have neutral furniture with Shabby goodness sprinkled in. I’m glad you’re decorating with what makes you happy!
Thank you kindly, Julie! I think most crafters have scraps lying around, and the Shabby Flowers are a great way transform them into something useful and lovely. Have a fabulous week!
Your techniques are amazing Becky! 😍 The combination of different fabrics formed in different ways and layering them to create pleasing flowers is a unique and gorgeous way to coordinate the pieces for the wreaths! I always wondered why I kept tiny scraps of lace. What a wonderful way to incorporate scraps into something so beautiful! The subtle colors just enhanced the completed project! Pink is an appeasing hue that easily escalates it's neutral counterparts. It's also a color I have always been fond of! The small embellishments were the icing on the cake! They brought the pieces together and made everything fit! I love how you use meer scraps of different things to seamlessly meld everything together! It's clear to see that nothing is wasted in your craft room! You combine different textures and colors to create something that's always appealing! What looks simple in the beginning, looks chic at the end! Just watching you has my mind racing with ideas! You teach us to think outside the box! You explain things so well and your demonstration gives us the direction to go without limitations. Your voice is so soothing but never boring! You speak to us as if we were in the same room. You also give us allowances in the way we might want to do something. You're a wonderful teacher, instructor and crafter! Thanks for sharing another great video! 🥰
I appreciate your thoughtful comments Vickie! Pink is always a go-to color for me; it’s just so happy. I love to use scraps as they are just perfect for any kind of Shabby Chic crafting projects. Whenever I’m filming, I do feel as though I’ve invited all my RUclips friends into my craft room for a fun and personable experience!
Becky, the wreaths are absolutely gorgeous. I am so glad you used cardboard and cut it and threaded the “tube” of fabric on to it. I really loved how the frayed and gathered edges looked on the medium side one. I got some boxes I can cut circles out of. I May double mine. My cardboard is not as high quality and pressed as yours. Can’t wait to see what you come you with next on your next post. Thank you and God Bless.
Thank you Denise! Creating the fabric tube for the cardboard was such a quick and simple process that really turned out cute. I know you’ll enjoy making these for yourself. Thanks again for watching and I’ll see you soon!
